"Well, I have good news..."Kaleb said as he reached into a forward saddlebag and pulled out the helmet, handing it over to her."Captain Jag sent me back a message saying that I could come in for an interview." Pulling away and then onto the main speedway, he began towards the spaceport."You'll just be a bit of a surprise interview though." He gave a cheerful smile as he took off down the avenue, making sure to check his speeds.

Niomie pulled the offered helmet over her head and secured it. Wrapping her arms around Kalebs waist to hold on as he accelerates away from the docked ferry.
“You know I think that I read somewhere that most fightin’ types don’t take too kindly to surprises.” She said, her helmet hiding her frown, wondering just how this captain Jag was going to react to this little surprise.

Ya hear that Blikk? Come on! Only a few more to go!

Kalin went into overdrive. He was strapping, bolting, taping, and checking each pallet so fast, the droids were put to shame. It would be a matter of four... three... two more stacks... one more...

DONE! Blikk, double-check them all for me.

"They don't, but it depends on what kind of surprises. Keeps them on there toe's." Kaleb grinned and gunned the engine, speeding away past other repuslor-vehicles and Worlportians.

Soon, they were cruising through the docks, checking for the address that Jag had given. "We should be close....B7-994...you see it?"Kaleb was checking the numbers posted against each huge door-frame, some open, some not.

“I thought that the only surprises that they liked were scantly clad women popin’ out’a those huge fake party cakes.” She chewed on her lip. “And I ain’t doing that.” She said flatly, as Kaleb zoomed along.

“What? B7-994,” she asked as Kaleb cruses his bike through the starship docks, looking from one huge door to the other. “No not yet.” She said.

Gairus did as was told. Very carefully, he checked each stack, and after everything was in order, joined Kalin at the galley. He walked over to the table, and sat down, wondering why there was only three plates.

Stopping at of one starship dock, he looked into the huge, open-air bay. What he saw meant he didnt even need to look at the docking bay number, there, infront of them was an Akula-Class H/K Corvette, a but different then others hes seen, most of her heavy guns had been stripped, but she had a capital-scale ion cannon mounted on her belly. She had posted against her third deck a cybernetic-appearing human redhead, and her hull was painted a gunmetal with dark blue outlining. A beauty of a ship all-in-all.

Her crew was hard at work attaching some cargo containers, with a man dressed in military fashion watching over, that was their guy.

Kalin strode over casually and plopped down at his usual seat. Nodding to Laura in thanks for the meal. He reached over to Blikk, who was seated next to him, and brought a kind hand down on his shoulder, almost patting his back.

Good job, Blikk. You ain't too bad at this! Hah! Then again, this kind of hard labor really is best for strong men like us.

Gairus shrugged a shoulder. "I'm just glad that that little incident didn't get us sacked." Gairus thought for a moment. "When is the Ruusan taking off? I need to buy a thing or two if I can."

Kalin's grin receded for a moment. He scratched his beard in thought and looked back to Blikk, somewhat disappointed.

As soon as we grab a suitable pilot. Basicly, in the next two days. Otherwise it might be him flying, or worse, me.

Gairus smirked. "Alright. I think as soon as I eat I'm gonna head into town."

Not content to eat until he was sure the cargo wouldnt go flying off in zero G, Jag checked the binder straps himself with a cautious eye. Climbing down from a stack of crates, he saw a pair of humanoids drawing close, a male and a female.
Cursing under his breath he stepped off the ship and started marching over to intercept, hand on the grip of his pistol.
"If you aint here for the Job get the hell out of my dock! My trigger finger's mighty itchy and my patience is nil!"

Smiling to the man, Kaleb climbed off the bike."Thats exactly what we're here for, sir. I'm Kaleb Zar, I sent you an application for your pilot position." He stuck out his right hand for a greeting, the other combing through his hair to push it back after the wind had mangled it during the ride.

"Also, I might add that shes beautiful, sir." He added, indicating the Ruusan

"Less a** kissing, more proving you're worth a damn." Jag said bluntly. "Lemme see your pilot's license."
He glanced over to the young woman with a frown, then looked back to the corellian. "Girlfriend's gonna have to stay behind. No minors or slackers on my ship."

Niomie looked over Kalebs shoulder into the docking bay, she had seen one of two of that model of ship, and her heart sank a little, as she looked it over. She pulled off her helmet as a man walked, seeming rather annoyed at something or other. Getting off the bike she reached into the breast pocked of her vest and pulled out her accredited pilots license form the Bureau of Ships and Services.
She was a little intimidated by the captain’s mannerism but when he called her Kalebs girl friend, it lit a fire deep with in her.
“I’m not his girl friend,” she stated. “I came because he,” she looked at Kaleb. “Said that I might have a chance of acquiring a job with you. I’m a licensed pilot.” She held out her license for his inspection. “I’m not a minor nor am I a slacker.”
