-the closest shadow nods slightly and glides back a bit, then motions towards the opening gate- "Lord Druu'giir will see you, please accompany us." -They move to flank her and lead the girl towards the lower structures of the inner estate. As they approach the first black tower, the shadows guide her to a transportation portal and motion her to step within-"If you would step inside the circle, you will be transported to the fortress above."

She felt this was unuasual but did as she was directed.

-white light erupted around her as the sensation of falling swept her off to another location. As quickly as it had come, the sensation was gone and she finds herself standing on a similar portal circle within a stone room. Several drow guards were stationed around the room at each exit point and one of them moves forward to her side. The guard instructs her to follow him, then leads her out of the room and up a series of stairs to a large library chamber. Within the chamber sat Val'atar.. he was reading from a large tome, which he set aside as the girl was lead in. Rising to his feet, he motions to the guard, who bows slightly and then steps back before turning to leave. Val'atar strides towards the girl with a smile on his lips- "So my little spider has sent one of her pets with a message for me.. how delicious."

Her mistress had mentioned that this lord was unusual but, she had not quite counted on this. Taken aback a moment she hesitated and then remembering her manners bowed to the lord of the city and proffered the letter and addressed him formally.
"My lord, Lady Arachnae bid me to deliever this letter to you and wait for a reply if it pleases you."
Gweneth was a pretty surface elf with auburn hair and eyes the color of new leaves. She stood her ground calmly neither being defiant nor submissive.

"Lord Valatar,
You will recall a rouge by the name of DmitriZaknafien that once held a position in your house. He has returned to Au'Shinduago and has taken refuge in my house. You are my ally and I wish no friction between us. I do not wish him killed or maimed but, if your will is to exile him I will comply. I could use him in my house or perhaps you would prefer him in your house where you could keep an eye on him. Please reply via Gweneth.
On another note, the saffron, black orchid root and Couatl blood have arrived from the surface that you requested.
Lady Arachnae"

-Val'atar read the note slowly, then put it down and moved back to his chair. For long minutes he did nothing, just sat there and looked at the empty space before him. Abruptly his attention swung to the female elf and a cruel smile split his features as he moved from the seat to stalk towards her. Nearing her.. he reached a hand out and idly toyed with her tresses as he spoke in a soft, almost whispered voice- "Tell your matron that she may keep the rogue.. do as she wishes with him, so long as she keeps me informed of his actions and attentions. However.. in return I would like you. It has been a great deal of years since I walked the surface and partook of your kind. Tell her I will consider refusal to mean that your Matron no longer desires my Patronage or my protection." -with that his clawed fingers slid free of her hair and he made his way back to his seat, where he returned to reading from the tome. As she turned to go, he looked up at her- "You may also tell her that I will send for the items soon, but I need something new.. the dust of a dracolich. She can contact me with a price once she knows how hard it will be to attain."

She had thought Valatar had an interest in her mistress and she was a little apprehensive about his attentions with her. Did he mean to keep her permanently or merely for a night?"Why not simply ask for my mistress? And how long do you intend to keep me should an accord be reached?"

-Looking up from his reading, Val'atar gave her a predatory smile- "The simple answer to your first question is that while your Mistress is interesting in a way.. she is my ally and therefore she has other uses. You on the other hand are merely a servant in my city.. there is no reason I can not or should not use you in what ever manner I find most enjoyable. As for how long, I suppose that would depend on what I decide to do with you. For now you can assume it will be several years at the least."

"I realise that it matters little to you but, I am not a slave. The choice is mine. I bid you adieu, mi'lord."
Having said her piece, Gweneth left for home.

Erelala returned to the house her steed pawing and snorting wildly as she dismounted. Her eyes were fixed as she had a great deal on her mind, walking through the gate and back into the great halls.

Several hours later, Gweneth again appeared before the gates of House Druugiir her knapsack in her hands. The two operatives who had accompanied her from Arachnae's Weaving were nearby seeing to her safety as they had throughout the trip across the city. Their charge was a member of their house and would remain so despite a brief change of lodging as long as she wished it so and as such... her safety was their duty.

-As they waited, two shadowy guards appeared from the wall on either side of the gate and approached the trio. Empty sockets turned to regard the operatives for several long moments, before one of the guards speaks in its whispered voice- Lord Druu'giir has sent us to accompany you to your new home. Your guards will not be needed.. or allowed. Have no fear, we would see ourselves destroyed before allowing you to come to harm. Please.. follow us. -Together, the guards glide back a step or two and then await her as the gate silently cracks open-

The two who had accompanied her had not been under any illusions of joining her. Their job had been to see her safely here and then return. Nothing more. They nodded once to Gweneth and left.
Gweneth, too, felt the warning unneccassary but she also knew that most drow left the need to flex their muscles and demand or force when requesting or barganing would accomplish the same or better results. Giving a mental shrug, she nodded to her companions and watched them leave. Gweneth picked up her bag once more and followed the two within.

She moved with grace her dressings flowing behind her. A small black cat came up to greet her as she made her way down the halls. Smiling she caught the small creature as it leapt into her arms then purred and mewed telling her of more news. "I see. Very good my pet, perhaps this will come to our benefit."

-The shadowy guards lead her along the long path past the outer defenses and into the nearest tower. Once within, she is shown to a transportation circle and instructed to enter it, where upon she is transported to the hanging fortress of Qu'ellar Druu'giir. Arriving in the same room where she was transported to before, one of the drow guards nods to her and instructs her to follow him. He leads her up several flights of stairs, deeper into the base of the stalactite, then shows her to a large room that is decorated with finery from the surface. Motioning her within, the guard speaks to her briefly before moving off- "You are to remain here until summoned.. if you wander about, it is possible that one of the slaves or even one of the nobles might cause you harm."
