Its not that damn hard.
Frankly the idea that we need a designated exercise area is kind of stupid, considering that we're in a Space Ship.
If we need to drag the equipment out, we can just shut off the gravity and set the crap up in an empty section of cargo hold, then turn the gravity back on.
All the furniture is affixed with magnets as well so moving and rearanging rooms is just about as simple.
