Dhan shook his head after Shinichi walked off, the man seemed allover the place at least he hadn't taken his asking for orders for anymore than the joke it was. He didn't want to do anything other than hunt and find himself some food, especially in the unholy frost. He had noticed the girl that had now fallen over herself in her all to late attempt to slip away unnoticed and now that he had a good look at her he noticed something about her... She looked just as out of place in the village as he did. He approached the girl who was trying to pull herself out of the snow but his attention was quickly turned to the little mutt. The little b***h actually had the nerve to growl at him? That could have very well been the last mistake the dog made. Dhan replied to the little mutt with a deep growl of his own, even baring his unusually sharp canine teeth, fangs they practically where. Ones that put the little dogs to shame. He expected the thing to go yelping off to whatever hole it crawled out of so payed it no further attention. It was the girls turn. He knelt over grabbed her by the shoulder and stood her up. "You're a long way from home, Meho. " It was almost a question and the tone a little harsh, he did wonder why in the hell there was another of his clan here. He hadn't seen another Meho since Naru disappeared during the Orochi war. His eyes scanned over her one more time just to make sure she was indeed Meho, but there was no mistake. The look in her eyes confused him though, there was something wrong about her.

Izumi jumped as she saw the figure come closer and help her up from the snow. The jump could have been mistaken for a jerk away from him, that probably a normal Meho would have done, but she paid her movements no mind as her mind raced with immidiate thoughts. If she spoke and replied to him he'd probably realize she wasn't as she was supposed to be. Izumi needed to think of something quickly before speaking so she didn't get anything wrong! Perhaps she could only give quick short answers? "Yes, I am." Izumi stated as she forced herself to hold her blue, slightly shaking eyes, to his. If she could prolong his knowing of her being as she was, perhaps she could go on being herself away from him without being punished for anything...His tone was as her fathers, sharp and demanding of an answer to a statement that wasn't even made into a question. Her eyes quaked for a moment more before she couldn't help but look away and pretend to have been doing the movement on purpose. The clearly dwarfed Meho child pretended to look around for the tiny creature that had scurried away from her grasp before and had growled at him. Didn't take too long to spot the creature though, as Izumi felt the fur ball stashed away behind her leg.

Ai's red eyes shivered in fear at the large man/beast before her as she continued to step backwards away from the strange person. She soon found herself bumped against the figure of Izumi and jumped forward and snapped at the man out of shock of the bump. She quickly moved back and hid behind the child's leg though when she realized the mistake she'd made. She held her ears tight against her skull as she held her teeth bared in fear of the man. The tiny beast of fluff refused to whine and run away, it was something only a bunny or weakling would do, and she wasn't a weakling! She was a wolf! Only those like this Izumi girl would run away in fear of someone as....freakishly muscly as this guy... Ai took another step back as she took in the full sight of the man's muscles and buffness she'd never seen before. Ai could feel her body shaking slightly but refused to move. For now, hiding behind Izumi was the best thing. After all, she couldn't run now, this guy would probably eat the thing for her growling at him.

"Lookie what I found! Too big to put in my pocket though. Krii, what do you think? Can we take the little one home?" A slight woman with an innocent look in her eyes pointed towards a girl that a huge beast of a man seemed to be interrogating. Izuki tilted her head, causing the two fox tails hanging to lop sideways and make her look almost animated. Fur made up most of her accessories, like the black fur bands around her arms and legs that had Izuki studying the small wolf pup carefully. Its fur would probably still be smooth enough to use well.... Krii scurried forward and sniffed at the wolf, nibbling on her tail slightly before deciding she tasted too gross, even for a mongoose's eating habits. Did this island not have any snakes on it? Krii scurried back up onto Izuki's shoulder, and gave a smile to both the half dressed people. "Obu Izuki and the magnificent Krii," she said, pointing to herself and then to her partner.

Kiba had been "sick" and out of comission for a while now. Or, atleast he would tell everyone that he had been sick. He technically had had a headache of sorts. Still, the truth, however free it might set you, was really embarrassing. It was late and Kiba was rather drowsy that night when he returned to his apartment building. Earlier that day he had been in a hurry and just left his banna peel on the floor. He would remember it was there, right? Anyway, Kiba was walking across to his room when he did not step on the banna peel, but saw it in time to pick it up and discard it. He chuckled to himself and thought about how embarrassing it would have been to have slipped on the banna peel. The rest of Kiba's pre-bed ritual went on undetered. Kiba slept soundly until about three in the morning when he jumped out of bed with great energy (he had eaten some high fiber bread befoe bed you see.) Unfortunately the young Raiken's need for the toilet was so great, that he did not notice that the lid was up, but so was the seat. In the darkness of the bathroom Kiba's rear went crashing down into the toilet water which Kiba never remembered to flush. The shock sent Kiba screaming out of the toilet head first into the wall in front of him. Ofcourse, no one could EVER know that this was what had disabled the dark-eyed Raiken for so long. Actually, Kiba's head had healed some time ago, it was his pride that was truly injured...

Despite this trauma the young Raiken had still found some way to return to the village. Kiba really was not sure what all had happened in his absence, nor did he know where the other academy students were at the moment. This prompted him to simply cup his hands around his mouth and shout "HELLO!! Any academy students around here?!" The young Raiken figured he would just try his luck with this. Something fun was bound to happen!

[ Gross, Jong!! ]

Izuki whirled her head around, tilting it. Her eyes were smiling, though her mouth was hidden behind a mask. With a small tug at her fox-tail hair accessories, Izuki clicked her tongue almost inaudibly and pointed at the boy. Krii nearly flew off Izuki's body, running over to him and sniffing his legs, nibbling for a bit on the boy's pants before taking a small piece of the fabric back with her. The mongoose, low to the ground, skirted the villagers feet easily and scurried up Izuki's leg, sitting on her shoulders and offering the small tidbit. Izuki chuckled, and petting the wolf girl's head softly before setting herself on a mission to explore this rather intriguing place. Who'd have thunk that such a pretty little village would have such interesting things in it...was that an academy?? A real live ninja academy!? Sweet! Izuki and Krii headed directly towards the building, picking up things here and there that had fallen out of people's pockets. Honestly, some people...

Udo kicked back and watched the interactions in the village, his straw-colored hair covering one eye...as usual. He watched as the pot he had over his small cooking fire boiled and settled, delicious fumes filling the air. Udo covered the pot and raised it above the fire, allowing it to remain warm but still far enough from the flames so that it would not boil over and make a mess of his little shop. Perhaps next summer he would construct his own little building for cooking, with proper cooking kitchens like he had had in Tonato. For now this quaint little shop was just fine, though, and he didn't want something all that much bigger - just more people friendly, so his customers didn't have to sit outside while eating his deliciously made udon.

Orion snored, sniffled, then jerked awake, stretching out his paws and yawning so wide that a passerby could easily look down his throat. Licking his gray muzzle, Orion shook out his short coat and wagged his tail, lifting his ears and looking adorable...and getting rewarded for it. Villagers scratched his ears and their small children gave him hugs, which always made for a good day. Perhaps the kids would be playing on the playground again - little Fay was his favorite. She knew all the good spots to scratch. But then the orange haired boy would come over and pull his tail...shame he didn't have the heart to bite the brat. Even so, the village center had its perks. There was a new female woman with a mongoose, female as well, and now a little female wolf pup. Too much estrogen in the air, in Orion's opinion. He snorted again, shaking his head and trotting around the village fountain, debating breaking through the ice layer on top and taking a drink from it. The kage, though, would probably skin him alive...

While Kiba was awaiting a reply he could feel a small tugging at the bottom of his pants. A large bead of cold sweat ran down the young Raiken's face. Kiba did not have a particularly good history with small creatures. It had been some time ago, but he still remembered well an inccident with a crab while training not long after he had entered the village. Slowly Kiba looked down, but the by the time he had his eyes at his feet the little creature was gone. Kiba gave a huge sigh of relief and dismissed it as his imagination until he noticed the chewed pants cloth. Another bead of sweat appeared on the dark eyed Raiken's face as he looked quickly around for the culprit. He found it in the form of a little mongoose on someone's shoulder. Intrigued by this, and with nothing else better to do Kiba followed them.

Kane quickly rushed from the flower shop to save the girl, but when he got there the girl and the huge savage was gone. Like they had just been a dream. Confused, he returned to the flower shop and quickly packed a couple of essentials like random onigiri that his mother had made as well as water. He planned on going to the shoreline to train, since recently he had read a short story in one of the publications about a sports team who trained on the sand. Apparently, this caused you to expend more energy which would in turn make you fitter as well as stronger. Your leg muscles would develop and you'd learn to be more nimble as your body would adapt to the slipperiness of the sand. So off to the beach Kane went with his training sword and food in tow.

The young Meho struck Dhan as an oddity at the very least. He'd investigate later and maybe question her about the state of his island since his absence. Thought for now he had to find Shinichi and play his little game otherwise his life on the island would be cut short. He'd come into the village to get his weapon and then suddenly service to Shimagakure thrown on his shoulder and a Meho child tossed in his path. Well this one could amuse him atleast. " You may be a long way from home but that doesn't change the fact that you belong to me. I don't care if you want to call this place your home and try to fit in, you'll still serve me. Or... well you should know what would happen then." He didn't need to sound intimidating, the girl was already fearful. "I left my sword with the local Smith. Go and get it for me and take it to the shack on the beach... or what's left of it and wait there. Now get going! " He barked the orders and didn't even bother to wait for a reply. He was already moving on to find Shinichi and get some orders.

(( I deeply apologize for the failure to reply for so long sad ))

Natamo frowned at Dhan's ever-rude attitude. Obviously he was someone of power if he was claiming the skimpy runt was his. Snorting, she found herself growing agitated, and she walked right up to him, poking his chest hard. "Where do you get off owning people? She's just a little girl, wildman, and Meho or not, she's not yours. Unless you're her father, and let's face it, I can't see any woman wanting to reproduce with something like you," she growled softly, gritting her teeth. Natamo stood a scant few inches away from Dhan, not quite tall enough to make that much of a fearful impression. He was a full head taller than her 5'9", but he didn't scare her that much. He was just wild, an animal - and he didn't even have his sword, which made taunting him so much more fun. She smirked and pulled her lip back into a small curve, her hand automatically touching the whip in her belt for reassurance that she wasn't just being stupid. In any case...this beast was entertaining.

Dhan thought he'd seen the last of Natamo when he... upset her. Apparently not. He turned to face the source of the outburst, who seemed particularly annoyed today. Enough to get on his nerves, but sadly he couldnt' exactly kill her, especially now that Shinichi was on his case. "What's it matter to you?" He droned, ignoring the comment about his status with the other sex.

Natamo narrowed her eyes and shook her head, arms at her side and resting on her leather weapon. "She's caring for something I was going to make into a snack - so she trains with me now. You can't handle her on this island - you don't rule here. She might be a Meho, but she's nothing like you. She's decent enough to care for something other than herself. And you're infuriatingly self-centered. That answer your question?" Natamo recognized that now that Ai would be with the girl, that she herself would have to train them at one point or another, especially since the little wolf pup was so aggressive. She was one bad bi...pup. Natamo risked a quick glance their way before turning back to Dhan. She was irritated as hell with his nonchalance. "Why do you care so much about her, then? You're so strong and mighty - she's just a little girl."
PostPosted: Mon Jan 12, 2009 9:28 pm

" Yes she is a Meho and that alone makes her mine." He repeated in a rather annoyed tone. " She is a Meho..." He repeated. " Look around, these pathetic little villagers FEAR ME!" He roared to the village people that were keeping their distance and quietly whispering amongst themselves, that or avoiding the area entirely. " They've heard of what I and my clan have done and she? She is a Meho." He grinned. " A young weak Meho, they will hate her for what she is, cast her out. Especially your leader. Shinichi? I'm sure he couldn't care less what I or anyone else did to her. He hates the Meho more than this entire village combined. We are his enemy afterall..." His grin spread as he began to chuckle. " So... You going to take care of her? Aswell as train her? Are you going to stand out and be the saint? The better person? IT doesn't matter, she's a Meho." he repeated again, making sure his point got across. Her name was enough to warrant her death, unless she was strong like a real Meho. Then they would fear instead of hate. " You are right about one thing though, she is different but I can fix that." His devilish grin grew wider as he continued. " With me she has a chance of becoming a proper warrior, surviving. With you? She'll learn how to lie in the dirt with animals and she'll suffer because of your kind heart. " He spat.

"At least she would have a heart!" Natamo shrieked, raising her hand without thinking about and swinging it harshly across Dhan's jaw. The resounding slap! almost made her apologize - it was mean, after all - but she was much too furious with the man. Natamo, with a great deal of rage on her hands, carried on, her hands waving in the air. "Kami forbid she actually learn to have compassion! And Shinichi? Shinichi's an overgrown p***y cat with a bad temper because he didn't get his way! Poor, solemn ANBU - are you just jealous he kicked your a**? Is that it? Is poor Dhan upset his sword was broken? Poor, poor Dhan, can't fight worth a s**t without his precious sword! Can't even go fetch it himself! Is that what you call a strong warrior!?" Natamo's harsh tone of voice carried throughout the village, the villagers scurrying to their own little huts away from her. She just barely caught Udo's movements further down, and Mai's dog, Orion, scurried under the nearest available place to hide. Seething in anger, she snarled at Dhan, a snarl worthy of even him - her face was distorted, ugly with anger and rage. "Such a strong warrior, you have to order young women around since the rest of your miserable clan hasn't come to get you. Will they? Or will they let you rot?"
PostPosted: Tue Jan 13, 2009 8:03 pm

A laugh, a simple little laugh was the rather unexpected reaction to the smack across the jaw. A laugh that quickly grew. Natamo might aswell be Meho herself. She certainly had the temper of one. " Girl, you have no idea. " He chuckled. " You should hear yourself, the stupidity coming out of your mouth? AMAZING!" He bellowed as he motioned with his arms in quite an amused fashion though it quickly turned serious. " I could crush you!" He said coldly as he suddenly stepped towards Natamo and brought a clenched fist right beside her head. " SO DON'T TEMPT ME!" He roared as he threw his fist to the side, away from Natamo. Turning away but shooting her a quick look with those rage filled beserker's eyes.

Girl!?

Natamo fumed as she shoved Dhan with all her might - not very much effort behind it since she was about half his muscle mass, but it was an effort nonetheless. "Crush me then, badass! I'm stupid? YOU'RE the one ordering little girls around - you aren't the boss of me! You hit me once, hit me again! I survived the first time, didn't I, oh mighty Meho!?" Natamo huffed angrily, her own eyes sparkling with rage - except, unlike Dhan, Natamo held complete control over her emotions. She was angry with him, yes, but it didn't mean she would destroy the village over it. His laughter unnerved her - she was a joke to him, and she knew it...and all because she was passionate about teaching shinobi how to fight alongside their partners and not as two separate entities against one. All because she used her intellect more than he used clothing. She feigned a lunge at him, shaking her head in disapproval as she withdrew her body from his personal bubble. "Watch your back, Meho. I may not be strong, and I may not fight like your warriors, but I am sure as hell better than you in my own way." Natamo flicked him off and turned her back on him, stalking towards the lagoon where she usually hung around. She paused though, shooting him one last dirty look over her shoulders. If that man knew what was good for him...he'd just shut up and let it go. Ordering little girls around...what a jerk!
