Wiping her hands, which had gotten a little sweaty, off on her capris, Tanu didn't have the slightest hint of care in her eyes as she watched Shisei fall. In fact she just began walking to the door as another student told Yuki-sensei about the bakemono passing out. "So weak," Tanu mumbled to herself as she put her hands in her pockets and walked out the door without saying good-bye to the teacher or anyone else. She was in a very disappointed and bad mood after such an easy training session. Her mind was also mauling over what Yuki had said to her about Kazuma and Kana. With her eyes hardened on the path outside of the academy, Tanu thought about how she was going to bring up the subject of Kazuma being dispelled. Did Kana know? It was said that Kana was the pride and joy of this generation of Kun Kumo's. Would her cousin do something so disgraceful as hiding the truth of being expelled from the clan? Tanu wanted to think optimistically, but from what she had seen from both her cousins, she couldn't think the best of them. At that moment, Tanu felt a large weight of responsibility fall upon her shoulders. She would have to be the one to clean up the name of the Kun Kumo's and become the most powerful one in this village until her clan called her back. Kicking a rock as hard as she could, Tanu bit down on her lip as she headed home to the crummy apartment where she would go lie in her bed, which was the couch.

Akiko eyed the surrounds of the academy once more before she left with Yuki-sama, she wouldn’t be late come next time. The white haired girl hoped she didn’t miss to much as far as the first half of class goes, but if she did she would make it up with independent training. The girl looked ahead, toward the Shisei’s caretaker, and noticed that she falling behind. She would have to be sure to keep close and take note of her surroundings.

After the crazy island woman who had been clung to him for a duration of time had scurried away to whenever it was that she originated from, Jonu had remained speechless for quite a while in an attempt to analyze the situation. He had been so focused on this that he hadn't even heard the medical shinobi lecture him about interacting with his students. If he had, he would have disagreed with her about intervening so much in the student's training. Jonu thought that using one's emotions and personality while in the heat of battle was one of the strongest tools that could be utilized. Additionally, he wasn't exactly used to the shinobi code that most of the elder shinobi in the village probably followed; he never believed that by fighting to protect one's home required a person to let go of who they were and sacrifice something more important than a piece of land. Although it wasn't immediately apparent, Jonu really did have a lot going on in his mind at all times and that was one of his most sought out philosophies. He wouldn't have changed his ways of teaching even if the woman had threatened his life, for to him, it was more important than life itself.

Once he had finally shaken himself free of the thought provoking daydream, the former captain noticed a few of the students had already finished and were making their way out the door, so he spoke quickly and somewhat loudly so they had a good chance of hearing him.
"If yeh kiddies want to ead ome right now, it be up to you. Fer those of yeh that managed to finish, good work and I may be seein' ye tomorrah. And the ones that aven't, I'll stay after class and watch over yeh until ye complete the trainin', but yeh don't ave to stay if yeh choose not tah."

While Naoki tested out the ball, Shin noticed everyone else leaving, including Tanu. She had left so quietly, which really wasn't like her. No matter what Tanu was doing it was second nature to her to make a big scene. Shin couldn't help, but think something was wrong. The Nara with the dusty brown hair tried not to think about it too much as he turned his attention back to Naoki. He wanted her to make the throws, but he was a bit babyish about getting hit still. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, Shin thought about the oncoming ball as it arched up into the air. He had wanted to dodge it at the last possible moment, but it had fallen faster than he had anticipated. At the last minute, Shin was able to throw up his arms so the ball didn't hit his head, but the sting on his forearms still hurt rather badly. "Ahaha, good throw," Shin said, masking the pain with laughter and he rolled the ball back to Naoki. As he did, he heard the teacher speak up to them. It was getting rather late out and they still hadn't gotten very far with their training. Shin turned to Naoki with a squinty eyed smile. "How about you throw it a few more times and then we'll come here early tomorrow and practice?" he suggested to her knowing that resting up and starting fresh would surely show their improvements.

Naoki blinked in slight surprise at the teacher finally saying something, but nodded to Shin's suggestion. "Alright. That sounds like a good idea," she said quietly. However, she was kind of dreading going back to the apartment. Sayu had left, and she was now alone until the war was over and the kage returned home from the upcoming war. Nights were her worse times, and she nearly always woke up multiple times in the night.

Pushing such gloomy thoughts aside, she raced after the runaway cannonball and picked it up. She returned to her previous location before bringing her arm back and letting it go. It didn't arc nearly as high as last time, or fall as fast. Her exhaustion was starting to show. Unable to help it, she scowled at herself. She could do better than that, she knew! She was just being neglectful to not try as hard as she should...

"Alright!" Shin said with a bit of excitement as Naoki agreed to train in the morning. The dusty haired boy was getting pretty hungry since he hadn't eaten breakfast. He was glad that Naoki wasn't hitting him with the ball too hard, because he might have passed out! That would have been pretty embarrassing to pass out while training. Yume had passed out the first day in the sand, but Shin had stopped to take a drink of water. Both Yume and Kei weren't at school... Shin felt a little lonely, but tried to stay optimistic as he heard Naoki release the ball. Once again the familiar site of the padded training ball went flying into the air. The Arch was lower than the last, so Shin had less time to react once again. He tried to jump backwards at the last minute to try and avoid it, but it ended up hitting him in the stomach. "Oof," he said, feeling the ball churn his insides. "Haha," he laughed, rubbing his stomach while holding the cannonball in his other arm. "Good throw, Naoki-chan," he said a bit weakly as he rolled the ball back to her yet again.

Naoki smiled slightly at Shin's exuberance. She had also been a little lonely, what with Kei and Renji both being gone. Renji had actually gotten a note before he left... She wondered what it had said. However, she pushed that thought aside and stopped the slowly rolling cannonball with her foot before picking it up. Balancing in her hands, she thought over her only four hits. Most had been low arched. Carefully, she angled her next throw so that it would arch low like before, just faster. It did arch the same, and it was slightly faster. Maybe it would hit this time... Her arm was getting tired. Maybe they would stop here in a second...

Those chocolate brown eyes followed the ball, making his head move along with Naoki's motions. As he did so, he felt a little light headed and his body feel like it were about to fall over. "Woa," Shin said quietly to himself as he shook where he stood to try and regain balance. As he did, he looked up just in time to catch of glimpse of the cannonball coming in at him. He didn't have the balance nor the time to avoid it. The ball hit him pretty hard and he stumbled back just a bit. "Haha, good hit," Shin said to Naoki as the ball rolled to the floor. "How about we head home now? I'm feeling a little light headed," Shin said with a weak smile as he scratched the back of his head. He could do with some food to regain a bit of his strength from training most of the day.

(Zu-kun, PM me if I need to edit this. I'm still opperating under the assumetion that Naoki is to stay in the dorms until Ichi goes to and returns from the Rice Country. Though, I don't see the Uchiha home anywhere...@_@)

"Alright," Naoki agreed easily with a slight smile, though she was actually reluctant to leave. Leaving meant being alone... Maybe she could go to the Tategami Grounds and see if Maya was still in the village? Perhaps those leaving for war hadn't left yet. It would be nice to stay there, rather than alone in a dorm room for the next few nights, until Ichi-sama returned from the Rice Country. She returned her attention to Shin though. "When and where do you want to meet tomorrow to finish?" Even as she asked, Naoki worried if the cannonballs would still be there in the morning. Maybe the teacher would pick them up after they left, and they wouldn't be able to finish...

[That's good. ^^]

"How about we train in front of our dorms in the morning before the bell rings?" Shin suggested with a small smile as his hands went to his shoulders and began rubbing them. He could already feel his muscles begin to sore up. The Nara boy would be a little whiny and like a noodle tomorrow. "Sensei!" Shin called out to the teacher that had been kind enough to stay and let the two train more. He bent over and picked up the ball that had rolled away from him after knocking him in the arm. "Can we take one of the balls home with us to continue our training on our own?" he asked while walking over to the teacher with the modified cannonball in his hands. He wasn't sure if students were allowed to take home training equipment, but he was sure that it would be alright... Then again the teacher might have something else in mind for the balls that they had rolled and carried along to the academy. The teachers in Shimagakure were rather peculiar...

- Twilight Time -

After receiving Jonu's answer to borrowing training equipment, Shin left the academy and headed home for a good night's rest. He found it weird that his roommate hadn't come home, so he had asked around about the boy and heard that he was spending time with the Tategami's. The Nara also recieved news about Kei not returning to Shimagakure and she would be studying with her clan mates. Shin made a promise that he would visit her one day. Feeling at ease, Shin passed out on his bed quickly.

-Twilight Time-

After they recieved permission from the teacher, Naoki was quick to head home. There, Yuki told her about Kei and gave her the other girl's necklace. She slept fitfully in the otherwise empty apartment, actually hoping that Ichi came for her soon.

Two nurses walked into the academy today. No one was there, no teachers were around. One who was a little on the heavier side was acting like quite the jumbled mess while the other seemed excited. Her long black hair was pulled back in a pony as she walked into the classroom and sat down on the desk, crossing one leg over the other. "This is so exciting," Kumiko said, happy to hear that she had the chance to share her abilities with the young girls of the shinobi world today. Tenko merely nodded at Kumiko's words and went over to the rope that connected itself to the bell of the school. Putting her hesitant hands over the rope, Tenko pulled on it gently. The bell barely made a sound, but after a few more yanks, it rang crisply through the air, reaching everyone's ears in the village.

BELL RINGS

Making her way back into the classroom where Kumiko was already sitting, Tenko played with her hair. She was rather excited for class today as well, but her nerves were rather jumbled as well. Nao-sensei had taken over the duties at the hospital while the two nurses got to play teachers. Tenko honestly couldn't wait for the day to begin. The young girls of Shimagakure would have a nice treat in store for them today. Picking up a piece of chalk, Tenko began to write on the board.

(yay! The bell finally rings!)

Kiba had been walking around in a rather good for a while in the village when he heard the bell ring. The young Raiken hoped that he would get do do something fun today. He hoped against hope that he might get to do some more sword training, though he doubted it. "I wonder who'll be teaching today?" he mused aloud as he approached the academy. He also wondered when he might finish his henge no jutsu training that Tomoko had started with him. Whatever the training might be Kiba was in the mood to throw himself into it 110% given what day it was!

Karite was running as fast as he could towards the academy. He didn’t want to be late; although he was very sure he looked strange running bloody through the streets with a dead rabbit in his hand. As he came running towards the academy he didn’t stop. He ran through the front door his bare feet thumping on the floor. Looking and listening till he found the class with people in it. His right hand covered in the bandages from his chest which was now scared was actually put on by one of these people. He remembered their faces from the clinic, smiling his natural smile raising his bandaged hand to the two. "How’s it going? Names Karite." The blood from the rabbit and the dirt mixed together made the boy look homely and gross. He felt the exact same way. "You guys mind if I head to the bathroom to wash up a little?"

Kore followed Karite through the town eyeing the rabbit. As soon as he set it down he would devour it all for himself. Ruha wasn’t touching this thing. If she was hungry she could blame the boy for letting the rabbit get away. As they entered the school from yesterday Kore noticed the inside was very clean and fake, unlike the grounds. Slowing down as the boy stepped in and began exchanging words with a woman and a man. Neither looked very strong but knowing not to underestimate others he sat silent by Karite's side and waited. It seemed the boy wanted to wash off the grim and blood from their little fun. Cocking his head to the side he hoped the boy left the food here.
