Watching carefully, Tenma traced her finger West as she made certain she remained within Amegakure. She followed rivers in an attempt to find the one she used to call her own. Though to her own distress it was the wrong river. This particular river flowed straight into Konoha and, when she could, Tenma would follow this river for days in order to reach the lake it drained into - this couldn't be the right one.

With a sigh Tenma found another river. This body of water seemed to flow more into the center of Amegakure - which seemed about right to Tenma. There was one problem with this task, however, Tenma rarely travelled away from home - much less to discover the geography of the country around her. However, as Tenma flowed the river, she almost jumped for joy. Everything was there; the meadows and clearings, as well as the road that led to the main village.

Now that Tenma knew where the village was all she had to do was find the approximate location of their home. It was located outside of the village on the East side. This part of the task was fairly simple because all she had to do was follow the river a head South. Her eyes traced it seven miles out and two miles South. Her house had been located perfectly between the river and the road to the village. With another grin on her face Tenma's confidence began to increase.

Next Tenma had to follow the forest East towards Konohagakure no Sato. As her eyes and finger followed the wilderness she tried to remember any specific details. The waterfall, of course. As Tenma ran she passed a thundering waterfall and, because her country was based on water, they always had waterfalls and such marked on their maps. As Tenma followed the river she realized something - she would of had to of travelled North in order to reach the river she was now following. It couldn't have been the same river.

Now Tenma had to look for other rivers in the relative area. She knew she was still in Amegakure because, so far, the waters of the land of fire were not near as remarkable. Soon Tenma found it. It was a waterfall she was very familiar with and again she smiled from the memoried that were now rushing through her mind. How she wished she was home, but that wasn't going to happen. It probably never would.

What had Tenma seen after the waterfall? Next she remembered crossing the border. True, most people couldn't tell when they had crossed the border, but people of the Fujiko clan instantly felt disconnected when the left their homes. She felt that instantly. However, Tenma knew that she couldn't pinpoint a spot on a border unless she ahd another ladmark.

Wrinkling her nose slightly Tenma decided to look for where she had passed out. There was a mountain range, but it was far off in the distance when she had noticed it. Also, she managed to pass out in a clearing. Tenma couldn't decide which to look for, so she decided to attempt and find a point where the two markings met. It didn't work.

With a frown Tenma knew she had to search for one or the other and then connect the dots. Out of thin air Tenma decided to look for a clearing - it really didn't matter which she looked for. The first clearing Tenma found was far too East for it to be the clearing she fell unconcious in - it was all the way past Konoha. What was she thinking?

Tenma now had her finger head West and look for the first clearing she could come across. With her right hand she covered the map that went East of Konoha, she would have no use for it. With a smile she soon came across a clearing that fit the distance she had travelled and the approximate distance between Konoha and herself. With another smile she knew it was right - it fit perfectly.

Now it was time to find the mountain range that she had seen. However, this prospect made Tenma frown. She wasn't sure how big the range actually was, so she didn't know how far away it may have been. As Tenma scanned she looked towards the South when something hit her. She wouldn't have been looking towards the South. There was nothing South that concerned her at the time and her sole purpose was to make it to Konoha - it just wouldn't have made sense.

As Tenma reconsidered she figured the mountain range was probably either in the Norht or the East. She wouldn't be looking West because her grandfather told her not to look back and, as she had already figured out, she wouldn't have been looking to the South. Tenma looked to the North, but the ranges weren't positioned correctly. It had to be to the East, or else Tenma had messed up somewhere along her train of reasoning.

As Tenma looked towards the East she saw a few different moutain ranges. Judging by the distance between the clearing and the moutain ranges Tenma found it. It was a particularly large range just beyond Konoha. Taking in a deep breath Tenma found herself overly proud of her detective skills and shook her head. she needed to remain focused and not let a few accomplishments get in the way.

Tenma rubbed her eyes as she lifted her eyes from the scroll. She had been staring for a bit too long. In order to give herself a break from staring at the meticulously labelled scroll Tenma decided to look for the moutain range from her bench. With a slight grin Tenma was able to spot the range without any diffculties. It was towering and, quite frankly, it was the same set of mountains she had been staring at when the sun rose that very morning.

For her final piece of work Tenma decided to guess what path the shinobi that had found her had taken to get to the village. They would have moved quickly, or so she would have assumed, in order to get her to the hospital. Soon Tenma was shaking her head for two reasons. First, it couldn't be more obvious what route they would have taken because, less than a mile away, was a clearly marked road. However, the most important reason, was that Tenma felt like a fool running through the forest when there was a perfectly navigatable road right there.
