breathing sunlight...XD that's gotta be scary if they ever stop to think about the mechanics involved. i mean, it's like you have a small sun lodged in your throat or something XP

A dragon has an "elemental pouch". This is why they can eat anything, and also how they have breath weapons. This pouch converts any thing they eat in to as much energy as posable, so all it has to do is condince this energy in to a beam of light, not quite sunlight, but the same things.

My favorite thing about mercury dragons < they speak so fast that with out a DC 20 listion check, you have a 30% chance of not understanding them, lmao

the metal silver, like a light grey, thus her bad eye sight
PostPosted: Mon Apr 21, 2008 6:27 pm

Actually, that's really an unfair advantage. I could care less if she wants to have silver eyes or be part blind or whatever, but the stat adjustments are unbalancing. Taking a deficit in one sensory area to increase another means you can focus all of your points to that place for an advantage and use it to make up for the other with more reliability. Not only that, but there really isn't any real basis for such an adjustment. In addition, there are feats that can simulate this ability as well which are far more appropriate to take.

Y'know, looking through the bios thread, I found it interesting that very few characters had deities. Out of curiosity, why did people decide not to pick them.

Because they're damn hard to pick. xd

... no seriously. ._. I STILL haven't decided (that, and i haven't had time to look at my bio recentl. gonk )

I personally decided not to take a deity because monks normally don't have one...Or so it says in the book lol

Personally I rather think of an overall enlightenment for my character rather then pleasing a god of some kind... Like Bhuddist monks, making the body a temple with no impurities

although i think if i take a prestige class...it's going to be drunken master lol =] thats where i'm going with my monk in RL

...speaking of drunken master.

Has anyone else seen Forbidden Kingdom? How awesome is Jackie Chan?! heart

I think i'd like to see that movie. It looks pretty durn smexy. I love cheesy martial arts flicks.

I'm one of the few that actually chose a deity, I think. But, I plan on multiclassing in a level of Cleric, and grabbing the Templar Prestige Class, so I sorta wanted a deity. Kord was super fitting for a Barbarian.

A lot of religious people dont like picking one ether, as well as some of the "facts" that people use who say the game is evil (most are fake) the deity ones are the worst

some people think the game is evil because of a few people who played it who where unhealthy in the mind, a small bunch has given all d20 games a scar that will not go away in a long time...

OMG chakie chan and jet li are two of my inspirations for my kung fu lol. But Bruce Lee has to be the biggest =].

I saw forbidden kingdom and lets just say I would pay to go see it again.

Right now im not formally being taught drunken master however... just copying moves form the "Drunken master" movies Jackie made until i perfect them...

I don't even know if my Sifu[teacher in Chinese] has a name for our Kung Fu...hmmm...
