She'd tilt her head a bit as he started to laugh. 'Maybe it's the after effect of chocolate?' she thought to herself before he explained it all himself. She watched as he opened the book up and then read whatever it said. Next thing she knew he had the crystal that Rayvn had once had and then had disappeared into the library once he had placed it in it's place on the staff.
"What did you do?" she asked once he was back, walking toward the edge of the building and peaking down to the ground below. She measured the distance in her head. 'Maybe if I jump to a building lower down?'

"I did them all a favor; I've allowed them to see what awaits them when they die." He'd chuckle a bit, his eyes full of malice. "Don't worry about it. They'll all die down there when they take in that air, but it'll be by there own hand. The visions of Hell will drive them to suicide, which well send them straight to the unholy kingdom! I love the irony!" He'd laugh a bit more, then turn his attention back to Nimm. She seemed to be trying to figure out a way down...it was cute in a way. He'd put the tip of his staff to her back and smirk, one eye closed.
"Cryin' out loud, just jump!" And he'd push her. The instant she'd begin to fall, he'd be waiting for her at the bottom with his arms stretched out to catch her. His staff was now more or less sheathed within the back of his coat. He couldn't resist to see if he could scare her even a little.

Nimm would nod at teh explanation, still looking over the edge. She had hopped up onto the ledge of the building by this time, and the instant she felt something touching her back she turned to look at Singe over her shoulder, though her expression immediately turned to shock as he told her to jump, more so when he actually pushed her.
"Ah!" she twisted in an attempt to grab the ledge, but failed, so instead closed her eyes and waited. The fact that she didn't feel the ground below her but rather someone catching her, it registered in her mind that this was a joke. Opening her eyes she looked up at him, indeed still looking shocked and surprised and basically asking 'why the hell did you just push me off that roof!?'

He'd snicker and gently set her down, folding his arms once she was upright. "Falling from great heights is really an exhilarating feeling once you're used to it. Never be afraid to jump; I promised I'd let no harm come to you."
He'd then look to his own cloud slowly encroaching upon them. He'd smirk and wave his right arm, sending a vortex of air through the cloud and directing it away form them. "Reaching our destination on the ground will be a bit easier then trying to leap to different things, wouln't it?" He'd await her response, always keeping an eye on the hellish cloud that'd slowly come for them when his vortex would die off.

She took a moment to get her self under control, still feeling the heavy thud of her heart in her chest. 'Thats adrenaline for ya.' She looked up as he forced the cloud back, then turn her attention back to him once more. "I wouldn't mind either way, but walking sounds easier, as the further we go, the less things there are to jump too." she smiled and took a few steps passed him before turning to face him with a smile.

"My exact thought. I didn't see much to really leap upon..." He'd shrug and sheath his hands in his pockets, then twist himself around send a kick at the cloud, forcing it back once more before ending the twist back where he'd started. "Please, feel free to lead the way; forcing back this little spell is getting very, very boring." He'd smirk, rather proud of his work.

She smiled and gave a nod, starting down the street. "So, that book you got, what is it excatly?" she asked, turning to walk backwards. "I mean, is it the same sort of book you usually carry or something different?"

He'd stroll down the street with her, then turn his attention to her as she asked about his new treasure. He'd chuckle a bit, loving her curiosity as he'd remove the Grand Grimoire from his coat. He'd make it levitate before him again and slowly flip trough the pages while he'd remove his own book from his coat and flip through it manually.
"The book I was originally using is another stolen piece of literature. On Earth, we called those that could use magic Witches, or at least in the earlier centuries. Each witch usually held their own Grimoire; a bit of a journal or diary for witches to record their spells, recipes, and so on. Kain of course dabbled in the black arts and began to record his own Grimoire. When I began regaining my own consciousness from Kain's, I became very interested in his Grimoire. In this world, magic's nearly a lost art, and there aren't many defenses against it anymore. I figured if I became the ultimate witch, I'd be able to remove nearly anyone from my path. When I memorized the content of his book, I decided I needed one of more power - The Grand Grimoire, a record that supposable contains all recipes, spells, and all else a which could ask for. From what I've seen...it does. There are even tricks for using Kain's spells in a more simplistic way."
He'd close Kain's Grimoire and put it back in to his coat, then look to the Grand Grimoire. "There are spells in here that make even my stomach turn and blood grown thin...I must admit, it's amazing. I can't wait to see what these spells can do..."

Nimm nodded and smiled. In truth magic was interesting to her, as she'd only read about it being used in fairy tales and fictional stories. Seeing or even hearing about it being used in reality kind of put an interesting twist into life.
"Maybe we should of stayed at the cafe longer to give you a chance to try them out." she smiled.

He'd snicker a bit while removing the gloves that covered his long fingers that formed to claws at the nail. He'd place his worn out gloves in his pockets, then look back to the city, walking backwards. "Nah, just that little shop isn't a big enough canvas. Now, the city as a whole on the other hand...well."
He'd truly grin ear to ear while his eyelids would disappear as he'd begin to cackle. His right arm would rise in to the air, palm open. In doing so, he'd summon a slow vortex in the middle of the city that would slowly suck in his previous miasma. His left hand would then shoot forward, palm open once again this time unleashing what seemed to be a flame-like flash. In the end, his vortex would catch fire and mix with the miasma, turning in to a swirling catastrophe of red and violet. Finally, he'd put both arms at his sides, raise them up, then slam them back to his sides. This would cause the vortex to suck everything off of the ground, leaving it without the deadly miasma. The vortex in turn would begin to fill the sky, and when Singe's ams fell, so would raining fireballs of miasma. He'd then turn back around after having walked backwards so much with his arms now fold.
And finally, he'd look to Nimm with an innocent grin.

Nimm stopped walking for a moment, just to watch. Once again her curiosity took hold as he performed some sort of spell, of which she watched with the utmost interest. She would switch between watching him, and watching what affect his actions had on the spell, though as the fire balls started, it would take his actual turning to face her to draw her attention.
She caught the innocent look of his smile, apparently there was nothing wrong with what he had done, honestly she didn't think so either and so returned the smile with one of her own. A thought did cross her mind however, and quickly, she took note of the time. "Does a spell like that tire you out?" she asked, realizing that it would not stay dark forever and was probably coming up soon on dawn.

"It does wear on me bit by bit, yes. But, thanks to my dark gifts and the gifts I've inherited from Kain, I've enough stamina to make it rain toxic fire for days." He'd shrug, then grab the piece of his staff stick out from behind his collar through his coat. "And even if I feel to tired, or rather depleted, this staff will provide me with all the energy I could ever ask for...though, I do need to make a few modifications to it, as per the Grand Grimoire's suggestions." He'd finally close the book and place it back in to his coat, then place both hands behind his head as he'd walk. "If that spell worked, then the next time we visit town their ought to be quite a few deceased citizens." He'd chuckle a bit, seeing nothing wrong with the genocide of a town or two, much less random homicide.

Nimm listened and nodded, like always. "Maybe it'll keep everyone busy then." she thought aloud, continuing to walk down the street. She'd look up as teh buildings got further and further apart, replaced by a tree or two here and there. "Does sunlight always bother you or only when your tired?" she asked, having almost forgotten that was why she asked her previous question.

"It'll weaken me one way or the other. I can function in the sunlight, though I prefer not to. If I'm exhausted, then the sun will quickly drain me...and you've seen those results." He'd raise and arm and look to his pale flesh, then sigh and hide his arm back in his sleeve and his hand back in his pocket. "So tell me, what's it like? That is, being able to withstand that glaring light?"

Nimm paused a moment to think. "Well it's...hmm." How hard could this question possibly be. "It's warm most of the time, provided it's not winter time." she rubbed her head. "Sorry I can't be more descriptive. I never really noticed what it was like I guess."
