Dash sensed a presence nearby. Dash leaped up and drew his sword at the unexpected being. His first instincts were to strike, but he held back his energy. He stared down his opponent, but saw it did not make any motion in defence. He lowered his sword. "Strange you do not strike me. Most of your kind don't waste time clawing at me."

Justyn flinched when the danger shifted to be on him. He feared for his life for a second, not realizing this adventurer was armed and most certainly not defenseless. Once again the panther tried communicating, but the only thing that could be said was all written on his collar. "Seigi," the name appeared on it, and it jingled when he moved. True enough still, as Cat would say, he was just a like an over-sized house-cat. He would have chuckled if his vocal cords could manage. Instead all they could really do is meow, roar, or purr, and none of them would quite suit the situation. Instead he bowed, and extended a paw forward onto the ground, the only gesture that came to mind.

Dash watched the panther as it made gestures. He thought for a moment that it might be someones pet, but as he looked around, he could not find who it would belong to. The cat just sat there, as if it was waiting for Dash to do something. He slowely extended his other hand out to it, and waited to see how it would respond. As he did so, he noticed the words written on the collar. Seigi?

Justyn took this to be a friendly sign. In response, he lifted his paw and put it in his hand, as if to shake his hand. He was amazed how large his own paws were in comparison to what they would probably be as a human. He used the stranger's hand as an index to imagine his own hand size. Justyn gave a deep look into this person's eyes.

Dash looked at the size of the panther's paw. He looked back at the panther and saw him staring into his eyes. He must be friendly. I wonder what... wait a second, I don't think this panther belongs to anyone. But if that's so, then why is he wearing that strange collar? Dash moved his hand back away from the panther and put his sword back in the sheath on his back. I wonder if this panther knows any sign language. He seems like he's been around people long enough. Dash signs to the panther if he could understand him.

Justyn had a faint idea what this kid was trying to say. He didn't understand sign language all that well, and couldn't replicate it. He thought how best to communicate to him, sign language wasn't the best idea. In his deep thinking, a question arose...Why was he using sign language? Justyn wasn't deaf! He understood human talk, having been one himself for his first twenty-five years of living...

While Dash signed, he could see the panther tilt his head as if in confusion. He figured the panther didn't quite understand him, so he tried to communicate vocally. He decided not to stretch his words, since cats of this nature aren't stupid. "Can you understand me now?", he said.

Justyn was glad the boy was able to figure it all out. With the question given, he knew he could nod his head in response to it. Yes or No questions were the easiest because he could always just nod or shake his head, respectively. [[nod for yes, shake for no]] He nodded that he could understand.

Dash paused a moment, seeing that indeed, this cat was very intelligent. "Okay, at last I can finally talk to you. Do you belong to anyone? I'm just wondering that." Dash sat back down, seeing that there was no more need to be standing. The panther was no threat to him anymore.

Justyn was confused by the question. The answer was no obvious and clear yes or no. He nodded his head again, being the technical answer. A girl named Cat was his owner, but how could he tell this stranger that? Victoria was the only one who understood him. Ah! So he could hint that Victoria was the owner. She was at his brother's house at the moment, though. "Gotta bring him to Izaak's house."

Dash pondered a moment. If I could meet this panther's owner, maybe they could tell me more about it. "Okay, panther... I mean..." Dash looked at the collar again. "Seigi, can you show me where your owner is?" I'd greatly apprecite it if you could do so."

"Ha, this guy's on the same wavelength as I am!" He trotted in the direction of Izaak's house. Lucky it wasn't too far off. He slowly lead on after it was apparent which way he was headed. Dash quickly follows the panther, only stopping to catch a breath every now and then. Since he was travelling for so long already, he didn't need to stop and take breaths that often.

Seth finally managed to crawl through the forest. His wounds were bad and he couldn't see straight after a day of wandering the forest. If he couldn't find help or at least a safe place to sleep for a while he was going to die. "No need to sugar coat it i over did it... I hope Alex is ok..." He looked up into the sky and stopped for a moment. Seth had been following the north star and had been doing so since night time had fallen. Int he distance he saw a small outcrop of metal and other things. It looked like someone had burned down a house in the forest. After a few more meters of walking he collapsed when he noticed what it was. "The ruins..." He ran a short burst and dived into an opening about five feet in diameter and eight feet deep. He couldn't afford to worry about what may already be living there or not, as soon as he hit the ground he passed out.

Alex leaned against a tree for a moment and tried to think. The scorch marks had gotten a bit more scarce, then eventually stopped and went to footprints. Those however were a bit harder to see. "Where am I exactly...." She looked up through the trees, as if looking for a sign that said 'you are here' then sighed and stood. Walking a bit more she noticed something in particular, a scrap of metal, then a few more. Looking up toward the distance she moved closer to find the ruins of the old Faction. "Well if this isn't fate I'm not sure what is." moving closer she side stepped a few things of debris. "Seth...Seth are you here?"
