"Boss, Ice--"
"Can bite me." Silva butted in, not bothering to look at the boys as he examined the schedule on Ice's computer. "Huh... The Black Swan..." He said, looking thoughtful. "That'll work."
"What is it?" Nack asked.
"No clue." Silva replied calmly, heading for the doorknob of the closet and turning it, tugging it open. "I'll be back sooner or later." Was the last thing he muttered, leaving the door open only a crack.
Nick and Nack looked at each other, not sure what to say. Then Nack got on the mouse and shoved it, looking through the files for a moment before coming up with a match.
"Amazing-- no... Ama... zon... pirate ship." Nick read, blinking in confusion.
"A what?" Nack asked, looking up at the screen, wide-eyed.
"Somethin called an Amazon pirate ship. Silva's gonna be a pirate!"
"Silva's gonna be screwed." Nack replied, doom written in his tone of voice. ***************************
"Slave boy! I was talking to you!" The voice was the first thing Silva heard, making him look up, one eyebrow raised at the sight of a large man cowering from a female. She weilded a whip of leather, smacking it into the palm of her hand with a strange little smile playing on her lips. Her clothing was strange, flowing baggy black pants tucked into sturdy knee high boots, and a white shirt with poet sleeves, laced with a leather strap up the front.
"Ye--yes Mistress Scarlett." The man said, daring to look up.
"I haven't killed you as of yet." Scarlett said, leaning down and rubbing the edge of the whip against his face. He jerked away slightly, then held still, as if knowing things would be worse if he tried to run. "The girls are calling me a weakling for allowing you to live for as long as you have."
But Mis--" He stopped, his eyes catching on something moving behind her. "Mistress, what--"
"Stick to the subject, male!"
"But there's--"
The whip uncoiled, hitting the floor before slicing through the air. He didn't scream, but he forgot all about the thing he had seen. And Silva calmly decided that sticking around wasn't the brightest idea he had ever had.
He stayed low, keeping well below average eye level, and looked around curiously, taking in the women working hard, cleaning the decks, practicing swordsplay, but what really struck him as odd was the lack of males on the ship.
Until he heard the crying of an auction, that was...

"Do we have three hundred? Three hundred! Going once, going twice--" Silva stared for a second, almost shocked at the sight of the woman at the podium, a man next to her wearing only a pair of pant, his hands bound in front of him, cuts all over his body. He was so busy trying to figure out how this worked that he didn't even notice the hand that shot out, grabbing him, until he was already caught.
"Sold!"
"What the hell do you think--" He started out, glaring at the woman so bold as to grab him. He stopped mid-word, taking in her scarily cheerful look, her short blonde hair in pigtails, cut off striped top and baggy pirate pants held up by suspenders. "It's a f'ing Pirate Barbie!" He exclaimed, making the pirate blink and c**k her head.
"What you got there, Penn?" One of the other females asked, leaning over to examine the fairy curiously. "It looks like one of the little people!"
"It looks kinda like a man..." Penn replied, moving her hand so she could "Check" him. "But he doesn't seem to have all of his parts." Then she reached up, trying to pat his head with a finger, only to get avoided and glared at. "Can I keep him?"
"He's got to get auctioned, just like the rest of the lot is, you know that."
"But he's not really a man!"
"An' he sure as hell ain't an amazon."
"Awww.... Alright, get the bird cage."
Silva growled, shoving at her hand and almost managing to escape when he found himself thrust into a domed bird cage, the door slammed behind him and locked with a ridiculously huge padlock. He cursed, heading for the bars and tugging on them, smirking as he felt them start to give way. Then the cage was hit, making him jerk back, his hands stinging.
"None o' that, now." The auctioneer said, placing the cage on the podium. "Looks like we've got a surprise entry, ladies."
They started laughing uproariously at the term, making Silva curse as he reached for the bars again. BAM! hit again. "Let me out of here." He muttered, only to be ignored.
"He's got the face, but the tools are lacking, luvs, so don't complain to me if he's not... satisfactory." She went on, ignoring the tick that developed in Silva's eye. "On the other hand, I doubt hte good 'Captain' will be wanting to borrow this one, so make your bids. We'll start with fifty!"
"Fifty!" The one called Penn shouted, blowing a kiss to the fairy.
"I hear fifty, do I hear fifty-five?"
"Fifty-five!" Another voice shouted, making Silva raise an eyebrow at the size of the female. She had to be as large as most men. With bigger arms then half of them.
"Sixty!" Penn shouted.
And Silva watched with something close to morbid fascination as he was auctioned off to the highest bidder.

"I won I won! I won, not you! I won the pretty little fairy maaaan!!" Penn sang, dancing as she carried the cage to her room.
"Think we should tell her?" One of the women asked, watching her with a hint of amusement.
"What a slave is really for? Nah. She'll figure it out one of these days." Another replied, snorting.
"Not with THAT slave, she won't."
"All right, ladies! Let's get back to the serious auction!" The auctioneer called, making them turn back to the front, their cash in hand.
Silva clutched the metal of the cage, holding on for dear life as the ditzy female swung the cage as she walked. He was pissed, his teeth clamping down on his toothpick, his knuckles white. The bars started to bend slightly, but the cage was dropped on a table, jarring him out of his magical use of "Giant strength." He cursed, almost falling on his butt with the impact.
"Welcome to my room, little fairy man!" Penn said, leaning down in front of the cage and giving him a wide smile. The smile fell, though, when she saw the way the bars had been bent. "Oh no, that's not good..." She said, reaching out and rebending the bars back into place. "That's much better! Wouldn't want you running around loose when you could get hurt! It's not safe on this ship, you know."
"How long are you going to keep me?" He finally asked, watching as she moved around the room, turning on the lights and going to the CD player. The most he could hope for was her to get distracted so he could rebend the bars and get the hell out of there. Then the sound of "No Doubt" blasted in the air, making him clamp his hands over his highly sensetive ears and grit his teeth.
"TURN THAT s**t OFF!!" He shouted, making Penn look up blankly.
"You don't like Gwenn Steffani?"
"Turn. IT. OFF." Was his only reply, making Penn pout and reach for the off button. Then the ship lurched, sending her flying across the room, and Silva's cage slamming to the ground, rolling across the floor as the ship lurched again. The CD player crashed to the ground as well.
"BATTLE STATIONS!! ALL CREW TO BATTLE STATIONS!! WE'RE BEING ATTACKED!"
"Oh no!" Penn said, shoving herself to her feet and heading for the door, barely keeping her balance. "I'll be back, Mr. Fairy man! I just need to go now." She called, flipping off the light and leaving him locked in the cage, still rolling on the floor.
The only good thing about the situation? At least that damn CD player had broke when it hit the ground. With a grunt he got off the ground, grabbing onto the chains and thanking the powers that he could see in the dark.
Then the screaming began.

"And the cat became a girl..." Boss's voice was slightly tinny over the old fashioned phone, making Ice wonder just how far he was away from his vid-phone. "Flowers that become fairies, cats that become girls... Darlin, have you ever thought that you're living in a really messed up universe?"
"Oh, please, like I hadn't realized." Ice replied dryly. "Look, she wants to learn karate. I can't teach it to her, I never got past the first year. And that was three years ago."
"You're lazy, darlin."
"I know that, but you're not. No matter how you might pretend to be."
"I don't much like tigers, darlin. They're natural born killers if you know what I mean. Almost hate them as much as I hate Snakes..."
"I'll pay you?"
"... I'm listening."
"You don't accept Gaia currency, do you..." She muttered, looking thoughtful.
"Nope."
"I can get you that poacher you've been looking for. Silva. And I'm not talking the feien one."
"Now you're speaking my language."
"At the moment my feien is through the door. I'm not going after him because one, he's mad at me at the moment, and two, he's on an amazon pirate ship. I'm pretty sure they won't kill him. Other then that I'm making no promises. Once he gets back I'll call over to Masquerade." Her voice went lower, as if she didn't want to be overheard. But it was too late for that.
Kisa leaned back against the wall around the corner from where Ice was talking, a strange look on her face. She would be getting her teacher, yes... but would it be worth it?

*Warning: This post contains violence and death, if you possess a more delicate constitution please do not read.*
Silva gritted his teeth and ignored the noise, focusing on that "Muscle" to help him pull the bars apart wide enough to get his wings through. Had he still been a child it would have been easier. But as it was... He grunted as the bars gave way, then tucked his wings to his body, slipping through the hole and standing on the cage as he looked around with his night vision.
There. He took to the air, heading for the doorknob and turning it, tugging it open just enough to slip through. Somehow the doors were heavier then he had expected them to be, but not heavy enough to keep him in.
The sight of the slave that he had first seen when getting there made him raise his eyebrow, a slight smirk of amusement on his face at the sight. The man had a knife and was facing down the one he had called Scarlett, murder written in his eyes. Scarlett had a blade as well.
"You think to kill me, pathetic male?"
"Not think. Plan. I've been planning this for a long time, Scarlett." He replied before rushing forward, stabbing at her. She blocked it. They battled, blade hitting blade so hard that sparks lit the air, neither saying a word, then the slave jerked, slowly going limp.
Scarlett smirked, pulling a second blade from his belly and wiping it off on his shirt. "It's a shame. You were even a decent bedmate." She whispered in his ear, still smiling as she let his body drop to the ground and walked away.
"Damn... you." The man muttered, then died, blood spilling from his lips.
Silva stood there for a second, heading over and grabbing the short dagger the mand had stashed in his belt, then turned, heading for the place where the door had been left open a crack. Of course it WOULD be where most of the fighting was...
It looked like a sea, in some ways, women and men battling it out in such close confines that it was hard to tell one person from the next. Then Penn gave a rebel shout, making him look up as she came swinging down on a rope, right into the middle of the battle. He turned, groaning as he noticed the man just waiting for her to descend, his blade in hand.
With a curse he pulled the four inch long dagger off of his shoulder. building up speed in his flying for momentum as well as to get closer, then threw it as hard as he could. It struck the man, not hitting, but slicing through his ear and making him scream.
"Damn. Missed." Silva complained, only to blink as Penn looked over, her eyes going wide, her mouth open slightly. "Behind you, you ******** idiot!!" He shouted, making her turn and finish off the enraged male.
While she was distracted, he turned, heading over the crowd to the spot where the door was, only to be grabbed again.
"You saved me!" Penn said, hugging him and somehow managing to avoid being attacked. "You saved my life!"
"Hell, woman, if you'd--" He stopped, something hitting him. "Yeah, I saved you. That means you owe me."
"Anything!"
"Let me go."
"But--" Her bottom lip trembled and tears threatened. It made him mutter something unprintable, then speak again.
"Look, lady, I've got a bondmate already. I can't switch over to you, even if I wanted to. I'd die." He said, callously. "Because while Ice is insane, you're damn well NUTS. And as much fun as the fights are I am NOT going through life being forced to listen to that s**t you call music."
"But--but I... I LOVE you!" She finally wailed, turning to stab the man creeping up on him even as she sniffled.
"Lady, you really need to get laid." Silva replied, shoving her hand off of him. "Find yourself a real slave then give him that bullshit line about love. Even if he doesn't believe it, it might make him work harder. I'm outta here."
Then he flew away, leaving Penn to cry as he disappeared through the door, slamming it behind him.
For a minute he leaned back against the door, listening curiously to his heart beat. It was a little louder then usual, but not much. "I've faced poachers... and psychopathic killers..." He muttered, shoving away from the door. "But there is NOTHING scarier then a woman."
"Um... Boss man?"
"... What."
"Your christmas cat finally showed up." Nack replied, making Silva blink at the sight of him pinned down by a loudly purring ball of fluff.
Silva just twitched.

You didn't haveta love me but you did, but you did, but you did... And I thank you! You didn't haveta squeeze me, but you did, but you did, but you did...
Silva leaned back against the window frame, smirking slightly just in satisfaction. The boys were dancing, acting like goofs, but it got them off their asses, which was as much as he could act for during break time like this. The new cat... Chame... Or Chime or something, was stuck under the bottlecap, acting much like a blind turtle as it tried to get out. The wolf and the hyena were asleep on their pillows, waiting for the night hunting to come.
And Silva? Silva was enjoying the music and the lack of bitching. He had never realized just how good he had it until faced with the idea of an owner like Pirate Barbie. He let his eyes close to half mast, turning to look out the window at the snow that was already melting. Kisa was outside, sitting and watching a bird fly with a quiet smile.
Ice was on the phone, talking to the white haired b*****d from GoldRings. He wasn't sure, but he felt something was about to go down. Something that could affect him... It wasn't a bad feeling, just one that made him curious.
After a second he shoved himself to his feet and flew to the hall, pausing out of sight and straining to hear Ice's voice.
"That's right. I'll head over to Masquerade now. Of course I can find Silva, I might be calmer then that dimension's Ice, but--"
Silva jerked, wondering what she was talking about. She knew where he was! At least NOW she did... but it was as if she was talking about someone else...
"Yeah. I won't even ask for a part of his bounty. Just get over here once a week for the next..."
Silva leaned back against the wall, staring straight forward as he realized who she was talking about. It had to be him... the smoking man. And she was selling him for a bounty? He headed back into the room, heading for the computer and pulling up the schedule. Sure enough, it was set on Masquerade.
Without a thought he headed back for the door, pulling it open and flying through. He had a debt to pay, no matter whether he liked the b*****d he owed or not.
He would warn the poacher. Whether the b*****d believed him or not didn't matter. As long as his debt was repaid.
He didn't even notice that the door had closed behind him.

Silva headed further into the woods, taking in the area with a hint of expertise, although he had been there only one time before. He almost expected the man to step out of the trees again, as if waiting for him. But nothing happened.
Shouting seemed a stupid idea, it would just bring attention to him, probably not the attention he wanted, either. So he headed in further, sniffing the air for the scent of blood... or smoke. He got a hint of both, and turned, heading in their general direction. Or what he hoped was their general direction. After what seemed forever he came upon the small fire, the white haired male sitting there, roasting meat on a stick.
"Didn't think you'd have the guts to come back, boy." The man said, not even looking up. Silva scowled, remembering how much he hated this man.
"I have a debt to repay." Silva replied, bluntly. He headed forward, letting himself be seen. The man at the fire looked at him for a second, then nodded, as if not surprised.
"That's what I thought you would say." *************************
Ice trudged through the forest, scowling every once in a while as she glanced over at the man walking beside her. "I could have done this on my own, you know." She said, pulling her broadsword off of her back. She had had to dig it out of the closet, wasn't even sure the blade was sharp anymore...
"Sure, Darlin, but I've heard stories about this Silva guy." Boss replied, looking for all intents and purposes as if he was taking a daily walk, his hands shoved in the pockets of his surf shorts, his Tank Top proudly proclaiming the words "Vix Beach," his tennis shoes the only thing different. He wasn't wearing sandels like he usually did.
Ice just grunted, cutting through the underbrush and trudging forward. The sooner they got this done with, the better. She sniffed the air, smelling the sickeningly sweet smell of blood in the air. There was a lot of it, either a human had been slaughtered, leaving only small pieces behind, or a Rade had been killed. She was guessing the Rade.
"We're getting closer." Boss said, unnecessarily. Then he went silent, almost seeming to disappear as Ice glanced over to say something sarcastic. She blinked, not sure what had happened.
"He's gone." The words made her jerk, looking up to see Boss holding something struggling slightly in his hands. "But I think this belongs to you." He finished, shoving Silva towards her.
"Silva? You..." Ice stopped, not sure what to say. He had betrayed her... at least... that was the only thing she could think of.
Silva shoved out of Boss's loosened grasp then flew to Ice, staring her in the eye, chewing on his toothpick slightly.
"Why'd you do it?" She finally asked, feeling slightly empty. Sure, he wasn't the nicest person out there... but she had never thought he would--
"Let's go home." Was all he said, passing her and heading to where the door should have been. There was nothing there. "Dammit."
Ice sighed, looking over at Boss. "I guess the deal's off." She said simply, opening a rift and disappearing, the impatient fairy hovering above her right shoulder.
Boss scowled slightly, then turned and walked away. He would finish the job later. At least now he knew what planet to look on.

Simple Answers... Simple Minds? Silva walked into the shop, his chain draped over his shoulder as usual, his toothpick between his teeth, but there was something different about him. His wings were drooping slightly, his shoulders slumped slightly. He crossed the room, heading for the information on the scrolls, looking at them silently as he chewed on his toothpick thoughtfully. Betrayal.... The noise of the door opening caused Hitomi wake up with a start. She looked around confused until she figured out where she was. She remembered that she had snuck otu of the house to come to the shop last night, there were lots of people here and Hitomi must've fallen asleep here on the window sill before she went over to them. She rubebd the sleep from her eyes and adjusted her glasses as she looked around the room and smiled the tall skiny guy with the big red wings. He scowled, looking at the section about going to see a feien named Yanvir if he couldn't get a hold of Julius. Well, he had gotten hold of Julius... and that was about all. Did he want a quest? Maybe. Did he want to get away from Ice? Hell yes. And the door didn't seem to work anymore, so this Yanvir guy might be the way... He glanced over at the flash of pink, not bothering to say anything. He should have figured feien would show up there of all places. Hitomi stood up and looked out the window. She had no idea what time it was or how long she had been gone. Maybe the big sad looking guy might now. She jumped off the table and fluttered to him yawning and stretching in the air. As she got closer to setteled near him and said, "Hello, sir. My name is Hitomi. Would you happen to know what time it is? I'm afraid I've been gone from home for a very long time and Mamma might be getting upset." She had a knack for reading emotions and this guy just didn't seem so happy, "What's wrong, sir? You look very sad." "Things happen darlin. Not much you can do about it." He shrugged, his shoulders squaring, his wings stretching to reveal the dark sheen of scales. "And it's... almost dusk." He finished, motioning to the window. "See the shadows?" Hitomi furrowed her brows. "There are always things that can be helped." She had thoughts of leaving because it was getting late, but this guy looked like he needed someone to talk to. "Are you here looking for someone? I've been here all day and no one else as come in. Silva blinked, looking at her with something close to shock. She had no idea... honestly no idea who he was. Of course she didn't. She had never met him. "This isn't something you'd have to deal with, Darlin. So don't worry about it. And I'm not looking for someone. I'm looking for someTHING." He turned glancing over in the direction the tunnel was supposed to be, but not moving towards it. "You should probably get home if you've been here that long, darlin. You wouldn't want your bond worrying, now would you." It wasn't a question, and there was a hint of amusement to his words for some reason. "Well what are you looking for? Maybe I can help you to find it?" She started looking around the shop just in case he told her. This man confused Hitomi. He looks very sad but the way he spoke was almost mean. "Sometimes when I'm looking for things I get help. Who people looking is always faster than one." "I'm looking for--" What, Silva? What do you say you're looking for? An answer to the question of whether you paying off a debt was a good thing? A definition of loyalty? Proof that you owe your bondmate anything? "An answer." He finally replied, shrugging and chewing on his toothpick. "Tell me kid, say you owed someone a.. favor. He ain't the nicest guy around, but he saved your life. And you find out that someone... close to you is going to do something to that guy. What do you do? Warn him and pay your debt or keep your mouth shut and let your... close friend do what she wants?" An answer? How do yo find an answer? "Well unless it's written down it might be hard to just find an answer." After he asked the question Hitomi furrowed her brows and thought for a moment, "Well if this guy saved your life it would be very rude to let someone else hurt theirs. I probably might not even be your friend if I found out that you let someone hurt me and could've done something to stop it." Hitomi thought it back over in her head and seemed to come to some sort of conclusion, "Yes. That's right." "But he's not my friend, darlin. And it wouldn't have hurt him... much. Just put him in jail. Where he probably belongs." Her answer was too simple for him, and he knew that with her age it WOULD be, but... He went silent, still trying to figure out exactly how he could have done things differently and kept his own self-respect... With a swoop of his wings, Maq entered the shop, a strangely pensive expression on his face. Well, it was strange for any who knew him; anyone else might take it just to be his usual demeanor, especially given the jagged scar across his chest. He headed first for the postings across the room, but stopped, noticing the two other Feien currently in the shop. "But still, if there was some way for you to prevent something bad happening to another person you should always try to help them. Even if they were bad to you." Hitomi had given the answer to the best of her ability. To her the right path of action to take was excrutiatingly clear. She had a hadr time understanding why this guy was having such a difficult time with it. When she saw Maq flew in she smiled to herself. It was always good to see someone she knew. Silva shrugged, giving up. He didn't even bother to tell her his motives at the time had had nothing to do with saving the man and everything to do with paying off a debt before he lost that chance entirely. At least she had cleared something up for herself, he thought, nodding at her with a little smirk. "You've got a point, darlin." Not one that he would use at any time in the future, but a point nonetheless. "Thanks." He muttered, glancing at the other male only vaguely before taking to the air and heading out the door. No answer there. At least not one that worked for him.

She had forgotten his summonday... Either that or she just didn't care, Silva thought emotionlessly. Damn that woman carried a grudge. With a mental curse he shoved himself up from his tiger bed and headed for the front room where Ice was working on one of those... things she made. Not that he much liked the thought of talking to her while she had a blade in her hand...
"You're still pissed." He stated, matter-of-factly.
"..." She finished what she was doing, capping her exacto blade and looking up. "Why'd you do it, Silva?"
"I asked myself that." He said, dropping down on an armrest and looking away. "I owed him a life debt."
"Why?"
"Because he warned me about the snake that was in the limb above me." He almost gritted out. "I was a dumbass kid, it wouldn't have been too hard for the thing to eat me."
"So..."
"I figured this was the last chance I'd get." He finished, shrugging. "The only chance I'd get. So yeah, I screwed up your plans. I won't next time, I don't give a s**t if he's killed."
"...He's a killer, Silva. He's been trying to kill that world's Ice for a while. He attacked one of the children, he--"
"That doesn't mean I didn't owe him, woman. You know that as well as I do."
Ice went silent, nodding slightly, then grabbing her exacto blade and going back to work.
"You get it?"
"I do... but I'm not going to forgive you yet. You should have at least told me what was going on." He just looked at her, making her sigh. "Of course you couldn't. You're too stubborn to share important things like that."
Silva nodded, his jaw tightening. What he had just done... he wouldn't have done for many. And he wouldn't beg. He was too damn proud for that. He turned and flew away, intent on getting out of the house.
Ice stopped, staring blindly at her hands for a second, a tear threatening to fall. Then she glanced over at the small box next to her, wondering when she would be ready to give him it. His summonday gift that she had ordered a few weeks before...
She hadn't forgotten his summonday.

"Nack!! I challenge you!" Mouth movement, mouth movement.
"I accept your challenge!" Mouth movement, mouth movement. Then pause. "Wait... what's the ingredient?" Nack asked, frowning slightly. "We need the rich guy who gets the subtitles!"
"Silva can do it!" The two boys turned, looking expectantly at the feien reading his comic book. Silva glanced up, raising an eyebrow.
"What?"
"We need you to give us an ingredient for our Iron Chef challenge." Nick said, nodding.
"It's this... cooking competition that started in Japan, where high ranking chefs cook for an hour then are graded on how well they did." Nack explained.
"And you need me for... what?" Silva asked, reading as he waited for their reply.
"To tell us what we have to cook using! We've got hotdogs cooked already. Ice wouldn't let us use the microwave."
"I only blew up a few things!" Nick complained, making both males snort.
"So... use hotdogs." Silva replied, looking bored.
"YOSH!" Both boys shouted, shoving up their sleeves and racing over to the doll counters they had set up already. Various food items were scattered around them, potato chips, various dips on plastic lids, cheese knives, and various sized lids for plates.
Silva flipped the page, absently glancing up as they scurried around wildly. He had NO idea where they had gotten this idea.
"Where's the soy sauce?"
"Needs more relish!"
"Hotdog ice cream!!"
Silva blinked, not even looking up at that one, then turned the page, hoping against hope that he wouldn't actually have to EAT whatever it was they were cooking.
"Um... any commentating on your half would be nice." Nack said, making Silva look up. "Um... forget I said anything."
"That's what I thought." He replied.
"Done!"
"But we've still got twenty minutes! You gotta keep scurrying around till people start to worry!" Nack complained. "It's part of the contract! Make another dish!"
"Yeah, yeah..."
Twenty minutes later they presented their dishes to Silva. He stopped, staring blankly at the messes. "I don't think so."
"But how do we know who won?"
"Flip a coin." Then he reached down, grabbing the safest plate, and walked away. A piece of hotdog with ketchup and a side of cherries. Now that he could handle.
"I won!! He chose my plate!"
"No he didn't! That was mine!" **********************
Nick looked up, nodding at Ice, seriously. "And that's how it happened! We had to maintain our dignities as chefs!"
"... By having a food fight?"
"Seemed like a good idea at the time." Nack muttered, scrubbing the hopechest with a slight pout. He picked up a piece of soggy bread, then tossed it at Nick.
And that's how the great food fight of 2005 started, boys and girls. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. *nods*

Lack of Love Through the window of the shop a dark blur zipped inside. Averno skidded to a halt in her landing on the countertop, and her eyes darted back and forth warily, looking for any other occupants. Once satisfied she was alone, she darted over to the basket Sajhiri had dropped off two days before and landed on the lip. Peering down into the basket she grinned gleefully at the remaining cookies. "Some left, thank the bloom!" She happily hopped down inside and began breaking off feien-fist sized crumbs of sugary iced goodness and chomping on them. First a pink iced heart with "Love Me" in red icing was quietly and methodically devoured...only in the areas where the iced words were. Averno mumbled through a mouthful of sugar cookie "Not going to let her embarass me like this. Just need to eat off all the mushy sentiments before anyone else sees them..." Silva headed into the feien shop, looking around curiously before noticing the cookies on the counter. Usually he would have ignored them... but they seemed to be... talking to themselves. He smirked, taking to the air and flying over, curious as to who was inside the basket thing. Because he was pretty sure he recognized "their" voice. He landed on the edge, peering down into the basket, chewing his toothpick in satisfaction. This was just too good. Many long minutes later, the feien groaned and climbed out of the basket, feeling bloated and sick from so much sugar. She made a few test flaps of her wings and decided she felt too heavy to fly right now. With a small burp, Averno moved over to the spells lists and began to study them thoughfully, waiting for some of the icing to burn out of her system. "Well that was interesting." Silva finally said, follwing her to the list. "Never knew you had a sweet tooth, princess." "AAAAGH!!!" Averno shrieked, wheeling on Silva with her plastic rapier drawn in a flash. "WHo the hell are you and why are you calling me princess you lanky, red marked...er..." She blinked a few times at the familiar tone of the voice and the features. She narrowed her eyes and peered at the other feien. "Do I know you?" she asked. "I'm hurt, princess." He siad, holding his hands up in a placating manner. "Don't you remember your old friend? Sure, I've gotten a little taller, but hell." He was biting back a laugh. Trust the princess to be the first feien to threaten to skewer him. "I'm assuming you will sooner or later, too." "But tell me, what's with the cookies?" Ah, the red marked one who she never quite got the name of. "I see...I'm guessing you didn't gain any MASS when you grew. You look like a beanpole. I'm surprised a stiff breeze doesn't knock you over." With a snort she sheathed her rapier once more. "As to the cookies, my bond forced me to write idiotic sentiments I never have and never shall feel for others on them. I came to destroy any evidence of that stupidity before any other Feien saw them. My bond is not very bright when it comes to such things." "Ahh... poor kid." He replied, not really meaning it. "Guess you never thought about tossing them out the window, huh?" He smirked slightly, wondering if all that sugar would give her a rush soon. "Birds woulda done the dirty work for you." He didn't even mention his lack of mass. He rather liked his size. Too much mass made one too heavy to move quickly. And his speed wasn't at the point he liked it in the first place. She gestured at the human sized cookies in the large basket. "Do I look like I can carry something that big to you!? They're larger than I am. I could have just poisoned the bloody things and left no witnesses instead, but I wasn't in the mood to have to explain bodies." He shrugged. "So you eat them instead." He replied, looking amused. "That makes sense. If you can move afterwards." Then he shook his head, looking her over. "Where it all went I'd rather not know." He went silent for a little while, trying not to laugh. "So wha'd they say?" Averno planted her hands on her hips and glared at Silva. "It's not as if they tasted bad. They were quite delicious if you must know. And I didn't eat them entirely. Just the parts with writing." At his question her face colored a bit. "As I said, idiotic human sentiments their kind express to one another on the ridiculous holiday they just celebrated." She didn't seem terribly willing to divulge said sentiments. "Holiday... holiday..." He frowned, trying to think of the last holiday he had celebrated. It wasn't Christmas... or Halloween... it was too late for that. "Doesn't ring a bell, princess. I guess Ice didn't celebrate it." Or it could be that she just hadn't told him about it. She was still pissed, after all. "What was it about? More candy?" Averno scowled. "Sajhiri called it Valentines Day, and it's all about love and cards and candy. You're supposed to give gifts of sweets and such to those you fancy. As I fancy no one, I thought it was a stupid, wasteful holiday propagated by human sweets and card merchants who wanted to make money off it." "Love and fancy, huh?" he repeated, as though he had never really thought of the words. "Hell, no wonder she didn't tell me about it." He said, almost laughing. But there was a strangely cold look in his eyes. "Love is bullshit." Then he turned slightly, looking thoughtful. "But hell, if you can make a profit off of it, who am I to complain?" "Love is some diseased state of mind. It distracts from purpose and focus. I think it's meant do derail beings from their goals so that species don't advance too fast. I mean, just look at my bond, preparing to have a baby has addled her entirely. She can barely remember to cook dinner, let alone continue on her more important tasks." Averno idly examined her nails, polishiing them on her chest as if it were capable of making them gleam, or clean the icing out from under them. He nodded, smirking slightly. Princess was the same as she always had been, thankfully. If she had started preaching love he would have been shocked. And it took a lot to shock Silva. "Good to know you have some sense. After the cookie thing I wasn't so sure." Yep, that was going to piss her off. The much shorter fairy glared up at Silva. "You're asking for a trouncing, bub." Averno gestured to the basket. "Go have a cookie yourself and see what I mean. That icing stuff isn't bad at all. "I'll do that." He replied, smirking slightly. The trouncing comment had made him bite back a laugh. "You'd need to get some stilts to trounce me, princess." He said, hopping onto the basket, then into it, grabbing a half eaten cookie and bringing it out. Then he walked over to the edge of the counter and sitting down as he ate. "Not bad. Got cherry flavored?" Then he paused, looking at the cookie to try and see if any of the writing was left. That particular cookie seemed to have the remnants of "U R HOT" on it. Averno drew her rapier and rested the tip lightly on the floor at her feet. "You might be surprised how little I would require to trounce you. As you've never given me your name, I'm forced to invent one for you. Beanpole should do." "You..." Silva read, smirking slightly as he figured out what it had once said. Then he glanced up, shrugging. "Hell, princess, never knew you had a Jack complex." That he had heard the story of Jack and the Beanstalk when Ice read it to one of the brats in the house, he didn't bother to mention. "I won't even pretend to know what you mean by that, Beanpole." She gestured at him with the rapier. "I'll have you know I've been practicing my fencing every day almost since I was out of bloom. I've studied the masters, including my personal favorites, Saviolo and Capo Ferra!" "And I just beat s**t up." He replied, still eating his cookie. He finished it, then turned, looking at her for a second. "I'm not going to spar with you, princess. If you aren't strong enough to carry the cookies to the window, then you're not strong enough for a fair fight. And I don't use weapons against females." "I should be going now." He muttered, standing and looking over at her for a second. "You know... love might be bullshit... but there's no harm in getting a little now and then." Then he stepped off the counter, catching himself before he hit the ground and flying out the door. Averno looked both confused and furious at his words. "I am NOT some weak thing you overgrown, egotistical, peacock!" She harumphed then added "And get some WHAT!?" Ah, ignorance is bliss.

((Kisa/Silva crossover))
Kisa got her teacher. She had started learning to "Dance" on a weekly visit to the ship GoldRings, where Boss taught her on a regular basis. Time passed, and she got better. Quickly. It was almost astonishing how quickly she turned into a good dancer! Of course, she practiced on a daily basis, showing off to Ice whenever possible.
But she had yet to speak. It was starting to frustrate her. She would open her mouth and the words... they just wouldn't come. She sighed, sitting on her bed and looking down at her hands. Mister Ober didn't talk. He didn't seem too depressed about that. And it didn't keep him from making his points, either.
... But Mister Ober was so... big... and expressive... and... She sighed. Good looking. It was really too bad he was such an old guy. He was like a--a hero!
Oh, and Mister Boss was okay, too. She frowned slightly, bringing her legs up onto the bed, hugging her knees to her chest. It would figure her first crush would be on the one guy who would never think of her as anything other than a little kid.
But she was an Alphapet, right? Maybe... maybe she should find some other alphapet to crush on. Then she wouldn't be such a... a freak.
She rocked slightly, glancing up a little as Silva entered the room. "What's the problem, kitty? Ice pissed at you, too?"
She blinked, cocking her head at his question. Ice was mad at him? But why? Then she sighed. It was none of her business, right? She didn't even look up as he dropped down onto her shoulder. She shook her head in answer, ever so slightly.
"It a guy?"
Her shoulders slumped, almost making him fall off.
"There's one thing I've learned in this life." He said softly since he was so close to her ear. "Girls like you? Don't need to worry about it. You'll find someone. Hell, you'll probably find a couple of them." He chewed on his toothpick, looking thoughtful. "And even if you don't... well hell, most males are assholes in the first place."
She blinked, then a slight tremor ran through her body. And she laughed. Loudly. At least for her, that was.
Silva merely smirked, making sure he didn't fall off as she laughed so hard she shook.
"That's more like it." He replied. "Now give me a hand, Ice got the extra large bottle of cherries. And put this huge a** rock on top of them." He complained, making her stand and head for the kitchen. "Thing probably weighs a hundred pounds."
She giggled, much to his irritation, and headed for the fridge. At least she had Silva, right?

"You got a job..."
"Well, another, yes."
"At the feien shop."
Ice nodded, smiling hesitantly. She had decided to forgive him, finally. But she wasn't sure where they stood anymore. It was disconcerting seeing her feien the way others surely must. There had always been something... more between them. An unspoken understanding.
She wasn't sure it was still there. And that thought hurt. But then he smirked, pulling his toothpick out of his mouth. "Damn life is good."
"Wh--what? Oh just wait one minute, mister! You are NOT going to take advantage--"
"Oh, c'mon, Ice, what's the use of you working there if I don't get some perks? What's your job, anyways? Stock boy?"
"Um... Store manager, actually. Along with Tera."
"... Who?"
"Another one of the bondmates."
"Whatever. But you got to admit, I'm in a damn cozy position. Maybe I can get rid of those damn annoying juveniles..."
"Nope."
"Or start up my own damn quests." He went on, completely ignoring her. "Yeah, who gets to be the cryptic talking b*****d now, huh?"
"Siillllvvvaa!"
"Send people after dumb a** prizes, like pointy forks that screw with your head..."
"Please, Silva! I'm just--"
"Or better yet, the bra of the great Fruit-i-licious down on Broadstreet at the Kitty Kitty Klub..."
"The WHAT?"
"Yeah. I like this. I like this a lot."
"Silva! No quests!"
He turned, raising an eyebrow at her. "Why not? You're the one in charge, right?"
"I just run the shop! Em's still the one coming up with that stuff!"
"Hmph." He turned, looking thoughtful. "How about a requiem workout session?"
"No!"
"Oh, c'mon, I wouldn't beat them... too hard."
"No!" She replied, but there was a little snicker accompanying her words. It made him bite back a grin. He had missed this. More than he would ever admit.

"Should we tell him?"
"No!"
"Oh, c'mon, he's going to find out sooner or later!"
"Not if we don't tell him!"
"He practically lives in the back yard! And it's getting warmer, he'll be setting up the surf pool again soon..."
"You know what she did to him."
"... What?"
"Man you are SO clueless."
"What are we talking about, boys?" The voice made them both jerk, turning with such guilty looks that Silva almost laughed. Then Nack stood, moving to try to block his view. It was too bad he only came up to Silva's waist.
"Nothing!"
"... That a feien in the window?" Silva asked, scowling slightly.
"No!"
"Sure as hell looks like one..."
"Hey, isn't it time for your workout?" Nack asked.
"Already did that." Silva replied, chewing thoughtfully on his toothpick. Finally he glanced down. "What's the problem, kid?"
"We don't--" Nack took a deep breath. "We don't want you to... get hurt again."
Silva raised an eyebrow. "I'm a big boy, kid. I can deal with my own problems. If I had any, that was."
Nack looked down, his shoulders slumping slightly. "She hurt you."
Silva snorted. "Getting hurt's what makes you into a man, boy. I suggest you get used to it."
Then he turned and walked back to his weights, leaving Nick and Nack to look at each other blankly.

((Shop RP, compilation borrowed from Sajhiri))F'ed up Family Reunion Silva stepped into the shop, a thoughtful look on his face. He had seen something... interesting that morning. Something he wasn't sure he should be happy about, or not. But for some reason he couldn't help the little smirk that played on his lips. It would mean a return to the problems of the past. And his rivalry with Neruo... whether they got drunk together or not. But... That was how things went, right? But hell, maybe she wouldn't even remember him. He wondered if he was that forgettable... Patience needed some time away from home. With Shiro on a trip and a new baby in the house and all the magic practice she had been doing, she needed out! So she decided to make a stop at the feien shop. Fluttering to a stop on the window sill, she looked in. She noticed Silva and flew over where he was. Her glowing eyes had to look up at him, since he was a full two inches taller then herself. She nodded her head and greeted him as she had many other feien she had met before. "Hello there. I don't think we have met yet. My name is Patience. Nice to meet you." She waited patiently for his responce, but never let her eyes wander to far. Though she was trying to not pay attention to his short but nice cut hair. He also had a ponytail that didn't escape her notice. He turned, looking at her with a slight smirk. "Patience, huh? Nice name." He was being honest, but there was a tiny drawl on his next words. "Must be hard to live up to." Then he turned, looking back at the scrolls so she felt free to look at whatever she wanted. He didn't mind. And he was, regardless of what he had been thinking, in a damn good mood. Patience almost snorted at the comment, and then he turned away from her. Wait, wasn't there suposed to be a return gesture to a greeting and name giving. She crossed her arms, her eyes flickering eerily for a second as she got a bit annoyed. "...And you are?" His drawl had not been lost on her, she had a fondness of accents she had picked up from Shiro has he watched alot of Foriegn films. It interested her, though his attitude did not. But atleast she got a better look at his ponytail. "I am... impatient more often than not." He replied, almost thoughtfully. "Been called worse, though. Tend to be arrogant, as well." He smirked again, enjoying himself. "I guess I lack in virtues, little Patience." " And it appears you lack manners as well. And enjoy dodging the present subject." She didn't mine to much being called little, though she was taller then Morgan and several other feiens she had met in the past. Though his obvious enjoyment is avoiding her question's meaning aggrivated her, though you coulnd't tell it except for her crossed arms and glowing eyes. "OW!" A grumbled string of sailor-like cursewords followed the exclamation coming from the window. On the sill a dark-winged feien woman stood rubbing her head achily where she'd accidentally smacked it against the windowframe. "Have to remember to start ducking." Averno muttered. She shook off the pain and launched off the inner edge of the sill, flapping her leathery wings then arching them to catch the air and let her drift lazily down to the surface of the counter. Her wings folded behind her as her feet settled on the ground, a long seven and three quarters inches below the top of her ebon-tressed head. She glanced around and her eyes rested on Silva and the unfamiliar feien. With a small smirk she idly moved towards the posted spell listings to browse them. He wasn't responding. With a huff, Patience turned away and stalked off. She didn't need this on her day off. She flew off to the other side of the shop to look at soemthing else, but kept an eye on the feien. A little girl no older than twelve stepped into the door of the feien fairy shop. Normally one might be inclined to inquire as to her business, or perhaps why she was wandering around unaccompanied, but upon closer observation answers to both questions became quite obvious. Seated on her shoulder was a fairy, and quite a large one at that, if one was to measure the length of his body and not his wingspan. "...It just strikes me as odd," the fairy was saying. His voice was a bit nasally and whiny, the sort of tone that can quickly become rather annoying if the personality is found matching. The fairy in question was in good luck: while his voice betrayed a whine, his sentiments did not. He actually seemed quite patient with the mass of yellow hair that surrounded him, threatening to choke him at any moment, and offered no complaint to its intrusion upon the limited space afforded to him by the girl's shoulder. The yellow-haired girl replied, "I don't know, it's none of our business." The object of their conversation was quickly lost. They had arrived. The little girl's bright blue eyes scanned the room and instantly alighted upon the forms of the other feien present. She made a small noise of interest but remained standing just inside the door. The fairy on her shoulder seemed suddenly very relieved at the shield of yellow hair surrounding him, even if it offered little camouflage to his dark blue-marked form. "The noticeboard, it's over there," he whispered into the ear of the girl, pointing. She she turned her head to look it nearly knocked him over, but he was expecting it and managed to dodge. With a look of steely determination, the little girl strode over to the noticeboard. She couldn't help but to cast a few curious glances at the unfamiliar feien. Her passenger did just the opposite, avoiding looking at his brethren. Instead he focused on the board most intently. With the enterence of the girl, she had turned her attention to watch her with muted curiousity. She had still been annoyed at Silva, but with this new girl in the shop and she now noticed Averno by the spell list, she was calming down and her interest was taking over. Sitting on a shelf nearby, she watched the shop and it happenings with curiousity. She was not able to see the other feien on the girls shoulder since on the other side of her. Perhaps if she was closer she would have noticed. So instead she just kept her glowing yellow eyes scanning the whole room to watch what was going on. The newly grown fairy woman moved a bit stiffly and awkwardly as she approached the spell listings, still not quite used to her suddenly very long limbs. Her ears perked at the sound of an entrance, and she glanced over her shoulder at the little girl and the fairy on her shoulder. Violet eyes narrowed as she took them in. The world seemed to change perspective entirely when your height doubled, but she was relatively sure humans hadn't suddenly shrunk in her sight, and that the girl was, in fact, a child. The feien did not seem to be a juvenille however. She put on her best smile, and dipped her head in a nod towards Patience as a greeting. No need to make a bad first impression, there would be time for snarking later. Her wings twitched with the forced pleasantness of it all, but until she could improve her magics and her rapier skills, she'd decided it was best not to annoy any more feien. Except Silva. Because that was just fun. The dark blue feien drew out a notebook -- several pieces of paper bound together with a piece of red string -- and a piece of lead. He'd starting off using quills and ink, but his tendency to break off into illegible scribbling... Leaving the safety of the girl's hair, the fairy began to look at the information on the board in earnest. He took several notes. His human charge read over the board as well. "Oh, that's cool!" she said, reading over a spell list. She continued glancing over at the other feien from the corner of her eye. "Simon, can you do that?" Her fairy companion, now noted to be Simon, glanced down at her finger. "No, that's beyond my skills in magic." He went back to his note-taking, going over the general shop information in particular. The nod to Patience was not lost. It was actually a welcome sight compared to Silva's snide comments earlier. Patience got off the shelf and headed towards Averno. She touched down nearby and nodded her head towards Averno. "Greetings." It was with a faint grumble that Maq entered the shop by window, his wings billowing out behind him. Errand boy again it seemed, and just as frustrating as before. He hadn't gotten a chance to speak with Sinrei as long as he'd wanted to, but at least he was comfortable in the knowledge that Tera would be spending a good deal of time with her in these first few days. Starting to cross the room, he drew up short in the air. Several beings were in the shop today, including a human. This was rather new. Silva finally looked up from the board, still not sure who this Tera was and how her presence would affect his status as the shop manager's feien. He smirked as he realized the green feien was gone, then caught sight of the black feien she was talking to. Huh... It seemd a lot of people had entered while he was reading... It wouldn't have happened if the damn scrolls had pictures. After a moment, Simon looked away from the board. "Would you say the distance down Wimpole Road was closer to two-point-two or two-point-three miles?" he asked of his human friend. "Just say it was a little over two, it's not a cartography test," the girl replied. Now her reading of the noticeboard was nothing more than a disguise. She was far more interested in the conversation of the nearby feien than their spells and abilities! Her first chance to observe other feien interacting! Simon didn't count, of course. He was just Simon. The girl shuffled slightly closer to Averno and Patience, pretending to be looking for some minute detail of information hidden among all the scraps of paper. Averno smiled down at Patience. "How do you do? I don't believe we've met," she extended a hand to the other fairy in the manner that her bond greeted others, "I'm Averno." She peered around the smaller Feien to try and get a better look at Simon, whose horns were rather intriguing to look at. "I say, the shop is certainly busy today, isn't it? Black leathery wings twitched at the sight of Silva, but she was mostly sure he didn't recognize her yet. A grin played at the corners of her mouth as she weighed playing with him a bit, but she stayed it for a few moments as she looked at Patience once more. "I don't believe I caught your name?" There was something about the black feien though... it seemed to mess with his head. Sure, she was pretty hot, but that wasn't it-- "Princess!" He finally said, irritated by how surprised he sounded. "You grew up, huh?" He headed for them, sure he would get a dirty look, but not caring. She was one of the few feiens he knew that was close to his own sight so far, Neruo being the other. Returning from the frigid wasteland known as Maine had put Sunil in an excellent mood, so it was on a positive note tha she and Ruya re-entered the feien shop for the first time in ages. Sunil touched down on the windowsill first, annoyed at having to wait for Ruya to catch up. "You didn't have to come you know, if you didn't feel up to the trip." Sunil said slyly, "accidentally" kicking Ruya in the leg with a grin. "I'm not an invalid Sunil." Ruya said, grimacing as Sunil kicked her. Both of them surveyed the shop for a moment from their perch, a little unsure of how things might have changed in their absence. After a quick scan of the others, it wasn't difficult for Maq to decide who he wanted to meet first With a lengthy stroke, he made his way over to the green and the black Feien, friendly smile on his face. Simon startled at Silva's sudden words and dropped his notebook and pencil lead. He tried to back up into the safety of Careli's hair, only there was no Careli, and he was suddenly very confused-- And just like that, the familiar shade of red spread over his face and shoulders. He bit his lip and closed his eyes and clenched his fists tightly at his sides. While Patience was waiting to see if Averno would respond to her, she made note of everyone there. There was Silva, who at the moment wasn't exactly someone Patience wanted to try speaking to again is he was going to be annoying. She was waiting to for Averno to return her greeting, and was quite impressed on how well her hair looked in those curls. Also another feien had arrived, she had not seen before. And the one studing the spells and taking notes was called Simon. Atleast that's what the girl had called him. He was quite tall too. Patience's thoughts were broken when Averno had actually responded. She brought her attention back to the taller feien. Patience looked at the extended hand and brought hers up to complete the greeting. 'Nice to meet you Averno, my name is Patience. And yeah, this shop seems lively today." Patience watched the larger feien's attention drift to Silva and she watched a grin form. Maybe she knew him. "It looks to me like Silva grew up. Unless of course there is some other adult feien who happens to look just as ugly." Without waiting for a reply from Ruya and with absolutely no regard for the conversation she might be interrupting, Sunil launched off the windowsill and down into the shop to land over by Silva. "Silva? Too bad you're still alive." Ruya remained perched on the windowsill, her lips pursed in a thin line as she watched Sunil jump back into the thick of things. Averno's eyes flitted towards yet another Feien having entered. She'd never met Maquinar before either...the day was certainly turning out to be a wealth of new faces. She found it oddly suiting for the "new" her. Now if she could just get the hang of her newly distributed weight and the difference in distance to the ground from up there. At Silva's exclamation she silently cursed at not having played around with him for a bit before recognition kicked in. But a familiar face, even it if was one she found arrogant and full of himself, was better than an entire room of strangers. "And a good day to you as well, Beanpole. Yes, I've grown. How observant of you." She forced such a sickly sweet smile as to almost make her words not sound sarcastic. She smiled back at Patience again, and gestured to Silva. "This is Beanpole, if you haven't met. He's been in a state of refusing me his name, so I've take the habit of arbitrarily giving him one." She flitted her eyes towards the approaching Maq, nodding to him. Silva cursed, then smirked, nodding at Sunil. "I could say the same, Darlin. Long time no see." And now everyone knew his name. He turned, ignoring that fact and looking at Ruya. "Going to come say hello?" He asked casually. The noticeboard was completely forgotten now. The human girl's attention was riveted (quite rudely) on the assortment of feien. Simon was completely forgotten. Which unfortunately did not ease Simon's embarassment as he drifted down towards the floor to retrieve his notebook, glad to be ignored by the other feien at least. Maq had just nodded back to Averno and was in the process of saying something when Sunil's sudden appearance caught him off guard. Something twisted in his chest, and he found himself glancing back in the direction she had shot in from. Ruya? His breath caught momentarily, before his grin returned and he lifted an arm in greeting to the Feien still on the sill. "Your Bond let you loose, huh?" he called out to her. "Oh, so it's a normal thing for him to avoid giving out his name, and I thought it was just me. Beanpole. Interesting name..." Patience responded, a small smile peeking across her lips as she looked at the slightly miffed seeming feien. She took in everyhting that was going on, and was trying to keep track just in case something happened. But man, there was alot of feien in today. And since there was so many conversations going on, it was hard to keep track if anyone said eachothers name. And everyone here was new to her. Sunil pouted, crossing her arms over her chest as Silva turned to speak to Ruya. "You want to talk to her? No accounting for taste." Sunil blinked a little as she realized who Silva had to be speaking with. Shiny black hair, tight curls - who else could that be? "What? Did every friggin' juvenile feien grow up while I was away?" Ruya sighed, trying not to look uncomfortable at Silva's question and made her way closer. "Hello Silva." No harm in saying his name, since Sunil had already managed to blurt it out to everyone present. "How have you been?" Maq's comment drew Sunil's probably rude seeming stare off of Averno and over to him. An uncomfortable weight settled in her stomach and she narrowed her eyes. Suddenly she wasn't in such a good mood. "Finnally let us come home, more like." She sneered at Maq. "Surprising to see you, Maq. Can't really say it's a pleasure. I don't suppose your sister is a long on this little trip?" Silva...so that was his name. Averno let out a soft snort. "I think I prefer Beanpole, it suits you better..." She flicked a hand towards his lengthy physique as if to demonstrate the suitability of her moniker. She controlled her expression to look dead serious as she deadpanned her response. The Darkness Feien couldn't cover the sudden surprise on her face at Sunil's arrival, however. "My goodness...Sunil? It has been a while. The tavern has been closed for a goodly bit, but I'm sure Sajhiri may be considering reopening it. Will you be available for work again?" She looked hopeful. In spite of Corvus' vocal dislike of the female, she was very tough and strong, and Averno certainly felt safer with her keeping order in the tavern. She idly glanced over at the horned fairy retrieving something he dropped, marking off "possibly clumsy" in her internal checklist of 'things to exploit later.' Sunil's stare was once again drawn back to Averno and she forced a smile. "Of course. I imagine my bond will want me out of the house as much as possible. Nice hair." God that probably sounded stupid. Sunil glared back in Maq's direction as if daring him to say something about it. "I'm better now." He responded, smirking slightly. "Neruo's missed you." He said, unwilling to admit that he had, as well. "You might check in with him." Oh yeah, that was a great idea. Shove her over just as soon as she showed up. Smart, man, very smart. He glanced over at Averno, trying not to laugh. "Jack complex." "Depends on which sister you mean, Sun." It was easier to watch Ruya, but he made himself look back at the blue Feien. "Tera picked up a new bloom long after you guys had to leave, and it emerged the other day." One ear kept turned towards Ruya, in case she had any trouble with this "Beanpole" character, but otherwise his attention was on Sunil.
