Kairi looked at her a bit confused. "well, you can't always know how people are going to act. They surprise you."

Akiko giggled at the events. Kiante had always defended Kairi when Mika attacked her...and he always raved about her virtues.
"Okay, guys," she said, stepping off the elevator. "We've got a big..." she smiled. "We've got a big party here. And we're not limited to only three people. So we should be able to kick butt, and I don't want to hear any excuses!" She giggled some more at how weird this all was.
On the way out she whispered very quietly to Mika. "By the way, Riku's mine."
Of course she was joking. After all, Akiko had sworn off the fangirling. But old habits die hard.
Akiko laughed and ran from the house.
---
Meanwhile, Mickey was unable to control his fear, which came out as anger. He knew the boys hadn't known any better, and it was more his fault for not warning them...but he couldn't help it.
"I told you there were different heartless here. Well, I meant, they're intangible. You don't fight them. They don't fight you. They...they are the darkness in people's hearts. They worm their way in and confuse ya, so ya can't tell right from wrong. And eventually, you fall to the heartless. Now here on Earth, they don't have to worry about these...well, they call 'em demons...until they die. I don't really know the details, but I know enough."
He stopped and turned to face them. "We are all very, very lucky. Practically all of the demons are busy with a big battle with a bunch of princesses of heart, not far from here, but far enough. I've narrowed down where the keyhole might be, based on some kind of record a lot of people seem to have on this planet. We need to stay away from the battle, get a plane or something, and head there ASAP. Got it, guys?"
He didn't wait for their answer, but hurried along, as he could now see a group of five people approaching. They all seemed to be in good condition, especially as one was bouncing up and down obnoxiously.

Kairi kept her eyes open and saw the king rushing over with Sora and Riku not far behind. "Sora! Riku!" She called waving over at them.

"By the way, did either of you happen to remember what day today was? Huh?"
Akiko didn't wait for an answer, because she heard Kairi's shout.
She grinned and skipped a little, barely speeding up.

Sora sped up, but checked himself just before he got to Kairi, as he noticed they there were two extra people with the group instead of one. He looked curiously at the other boy for a split second; then his brain returned to more important things. "Are you feeling morally confused or indifferent?" he asked Kairi anxiously.

Riku watched as Sora ran up to the others, his expression indecipherable. "If we can't fight them," he began in an undertone, without looking over at the King, "What can we do?"

Mika raised a brow once more, not just at being told to back off of the one character she really, really, liked, but also because she'd apparently missed an important day. was it Akiko's birthday? No, and it wasn't the release date of Kingdom Hearts...
"Today bears little importance," Mika said indifferently. "We're simply a day closer to Death's open arms."

She looked at him confused. "I'm a little confused about what's going on but other wise fine. What's going on Sora?"

Mickey shrugged. "Stay away from 'em. The ones best fitted for resisting them are the Earthlings here. Which seem to be breeding." He allowed himself a smile.
"Anyway, if we do encounter any, our mental strength will be tested. Though I don't doubt your guys' strength, these things are pretty tough."
Akiko pouted. Maybe having your dream come true on your birthday wasn't that great. Because it seemed everyone had forgotten her sweet sixteen.
But she merely coughed and shrugged. "Okay," and that was when Sora approached.
Akiko had to laugh at his random question. Was this how Sora was going to act normally? Then he'd be better than in the game!
((Excuse me if I keep glossing over minor details. This is an ADD person here razz Oh btw, just thought you should know, I wrote out a whole big scene for this last night...the problem is, a lot of times when I write at night it turns out cheesy...but I don't think this one turned out that way. Just a little warning though if it does. It won't come up for a while, but you'll know when it does. *nod* ))
Mickey walked up to the group.
"Do any of you know how to fly a plane?"
Akiko immediately bounced up. "I do, I do! My dad's a pilot!" she beamed like a little child.

Mickey sighed. It wasn't the best place for it, but it was about time to let everyone know.
So he explained. Everything. The demons, the attack on Earth.
And the story of why there was a big video game thing.
How back in Disney Castle's early days, when the heartless were first discovered, and the gummi technology just recently invented, the new King Mickey decided he would monitor the interplanetary state of things. Earth was one of these planets he monitored.
But one day, on one trip to Earth in about its 1930s or so? He couldn't remember. But there had been something funny about the roadway. A sign that said, "Upcoming Attractions: Universal Studios, Disney World--"
Disney World? Yes.
Eventually he was able to find the man who was going by the name of Walt Disney. Apparently this man had eavesdropped on a man named Pete--could it be that Pete?--and another woman with strange horns protruding from her head. What they were doing on Earth, Disney couldn't tell them. But he did try to sell some wacko story about how he had originally founded Disney Castle, named after him, but had gotten stuck on Earth, and would greatly appreciate a ride back to his homeland.
Mickey thought this was crap and told him so...though maybe not in so many words. But before he could challenge the impostor, he called security on them, and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy had to run before they were discovered and plastered all over the international news.
It was a close call, for so-called "Disney" tried to chase them and reach the gummi ship before them. But they made it, and because of this close brush with discovery, Disney Castle cut all relations with Earth...but as an extra precaution, chose one person on Earth to serve as a sort of Earth's Jiminy Cricket...to keep a record of all the events outside their world in case they were ever attacked. Oh, and Pete was banished immediately, though efforts to gain information from him proved futile.
Of course, when Mickey found out this person, who lived in Japan, had turned the story into a video game series of all things, that was it. No more communicating with Earth whatsoever. If anyone got any hint that these things were real, a whole world would soon be involved in the struggle against the heartless.
So that left them with little information for Kingdom Hearts 3. But not long after the cut of ties between the two worlds, Earth was attacked. The last thing Mickey saw on his latest-technology computer...some thing the Earthlings called "the Internet," and "email..." was an urgent cry for help.
Mickey, having done his homework, knew that Earth was the source of the princesses of heart and the generic darkness of the heart, locally known as angels and demons. But it didn't click till then that, because Earth was the root of everything else, including the Japanese language all worlds used (the Tower of Babel event only occurred on Earth, and that was when languages other than Japanese appeared), that it could be the root of their recent problems with reopening keyholes and reappearing heartless.
So he made all haste to get there, and find some people who looked like they might be worthy of a keyblade, to guide them on the planet and help them with the quest for the keyhole.
In the little time he'd had, Mickey had found Akiko, and then set off to scout the area for any potential threats while they waited for the trio.
Mickey finally finished his story, and sighed, still angry at the dredged-up memories of Walt Disney. "Everybody knows the castle was named for my teacher Yen Sid," he growled.
((I hope that wasn't too confusing... >.> lol))

Akiko didn't say anything either. Wow.
Well, she wanted to yell, "Dude, that's awesome! And we ever even knew about any of this, it all fits together though!!!"
jBut her voice had been the loudest for enough of the day, she figured.

Sora stared for a few seconds, at a complete loss. "So... Um.... I'm..." He pointed at his own chest. "I mean, we're...." Nope. He still wasn't quite ready for words. He shut his mouth.
