Val herself hoped that the spell she had put on the broom worked over that much distance from the ground. She herself was finding it increddibly hard to stop. As she crossed the edge of the cliff she started to descend. Instead Val Focused on her small noledge of wind use and pushe hersel fup over the edge and back to where Riot and Chisi were. She jumped of and sat down, catching her breath. "Wow...."

"Talk about an interesting start." Riot half muttered completely still on her bike.

Chisei was as pale as a sheet. "gah please dont try to kill me!!" she said shakily getting off the bike.

Val almost started to laugh. "That was awesome!!!! Huge adrenalin rush!" She jumped up and punched the air. She laughed and fell backwards, sprawled and lying still staring up at the sky. That had been terrifying and fun at the same time. She jumped up. "Where to now?"

"You know I could've sworn there use to be a bridge here." Riot half muttered looking at the area curiously for a moment before getting off and wandering around a bit. "And Chisei, what's this 'don't kill me' crap?" She said a little colder than she had meant too.

Val looked down. "Hey I think I found something!" She was looking down into the river of the canyon. "There at the bottom. It looks like the support of a bridge. The bridge must have collapsed. Or someone intentionally collapsed it.” She turned to Riot and Chisei. “Either of the two of you have any enemies?” She asked slowly, hoping that they didn’t.

Riot reached up replacing her goggles and turning the lens every so slightly, a close up shot of the river coming into view. "The wood and the rope looks to new there's no way it could've collasped." Riot calmly stated taking the goggles back off. "Looks like he finally caught up." She muttered.

Val looked at Riot. “So who is this enemy? Is he strong? And should I be concerned?” She glanced down at the river again. “Anyway, first things first, we need to get across this canyon.” She estimated the length. I may be able to…. No never mind, I can’t control that skill well enough yet.” She had though about making a stone bridge using her control over earth, but that was not a strong suit of hers and even if she could make it, she didn’t know if she could hold it. “You know what. Oh well I’ll try.” She held out her staff in front of her, the staff was parallel to the ground. She closed her eyes and concentrated on the land around her. She gave a small fast push to the land. Nothing responded, land was a slow moving element. Val tried again this time urging the land out more slowly. A bridge began to form, stretching out from the edge of the canyon. A minute later it stretched all the way across. “Hurry! Cross the bridge. Before I loose concentration.” She said her eyes closed.
Inwardly she was proud of her self. This meant her talents were growing. It was a true test of strength.

"Chisei on the bike, now." Riot said remounting and turning on her bike.

Chisei nervously climbed on the bike. She had a sweat drop form on her forhead as she wondered what she was thinking.

The bridge shuddered. "Hurry up you two! What is taking so long?!?!" Val yelled, as she brought the bridge to a steady state once more.

Once Chisei was safely on the bike again, Riot took off a cloud of dust behind her. Moments later she was speeding down the road on the other side of the canyon.

The moment Riot was off the bridge. Val jumped as fast as she could to the center of the bridge. The second her foot touched lightly down on the already falling stone bridge she pushed off again jumping to the other side. She made it with plenty of room. Her jumps were propelled by bursts of air she shot out behind her. As she landed, the bridge collapsed into the canyon with a lot of dust and noise. Valkyrie stood up, staff in hand. She brushed herself off. Placing her staff in its place on her back, she ran to catch up with Riot and Chisei.

Valkyrie easily caought them. "Chisei you doing all right? You look a little green." Val smiled. For some reason she was quite happy, even though the last few minutes had been terrifying
