"no you won't be sleeping in the lobby" Nali said as she walked to her desk "you will have room 20. i'll show you the way, but you must follow the rule of you must stay in your room from midnight to six thirty am, ok? and it will be free of charge if you do."

"T-thank you very much, miss." Baylor said. "But, um, out of curiosity, why must I stay in my room until midnight to 6:30 A.M.?"

As Alan and Sara wandered the halls they found there way back to the lobby. Alan walked into the lobby wondering how they went in a circle.
Sara looked over at the desk and saw Pellinor. Her eye's went wide and she blurted,"Alan! Alan! Look a dragon!!" She bounced a bit in his grip and he put her down.
Alan followed her to make sure she didn't go to out of control. He looked at the new kid and said,"Hi."

"Oh, Hi there. My name is Baylor." Baylor said politely. He then looked at Sara, then back at Alan. "Um, is she your daughter?"

"because this hotel was built on a graveyard and the bodies were never removed" Nali said "and ghosts roam the halls from those hours. if you don't wish to stay, i understand and i won't stop you."

"G-g-ghosts?" Baylor studdered in fear. He knew that ghosts were indeed real, but the only ones he had met were evil spirits. But this was one of the reasons why he came to this hotel.

Alan's eye's went wide at the daughter comment and spluttered,"No, no, no, no! I'm only 17!"
Sara looked at Baylor and laughed at the comment. Her bright red eyes closing for a moment then looking back at him.

"that is what the rule is for" Nali said "and as long as you follow it, nothing will happen. as long as you remain in the rooms from those hours, you can't be harmed. the each have a spell woven into the doors that ghosts can't cross"

"Oh! S-sorry!" Baylor apologizes and bowed. He then felt someone watching him. He looked over and saw Sara looking at him. "Um... Hello."
