Dear Diary

Opened that present Torvil bought way back when I was pregnant... Surion seems to enjoy it, I'm kinda glad I dealt with putting it together as it meant following instructions. Needless to say they were a bit complicated however I think Torvil made a good choice in this toy

Surion is a Toddler & Dada's Day

Ala got up leaving Torvil in bed, it was early yes but she had plans that she hadn't told Torvil and had avoided thinking about. She went to Surion's room and wasn't surprised to see him up and trying to get out of his crib

"Mama out" Surion said

Ala chuckled "I see my little man grew, well it's Dada's day so lets go get him up" she said

"Dada day?" Surion looked up at her curiously as he was lifted up

"Yup" She said taking him for a change and a potty trip before heading back and dropping him gently on Torvil's belly

"DADA WAKE!" Surion cried out excitedly

Torvil grunted. "Uh.... It's what..." He looked around for the alarm clock he'd recently installed on the nearby table. "8:00..." He mumbled. "Dada sleepy... come get him in an hour..."

"Nuuuu Dada Day!" Surion bounced, he was heavier then he had been the day before, not by much but enough to make a difference when bouncing

Ala stood to the side a hand over her mouth stifling her giggles

Torvil blinked. "Wha?" He grunted when Surion bounced. "Oh hey... you grew..." He smirked at his son. "Dada's day?"

"Dada day dada day" he giggled bouncing more

Ala giggled leaving the two to be once Torvil was awake and headed for the kitchen

Torvil chuckled and finally sat up so his stomach didn't cave. "So Surion... What can you tell me about Dada's day?"

Surion slid back onto his father's lap and blinked "Dada day ta'ay" he said not knowing what it was, but excited anyways

Torvil grinned. "We'll just have to ask your mother then... Where is she?" He shifted and slowly started to move out of the bed with his now larger son.

"Mama!" he called out looking around him

"Kitchen" came the call

Torvil chuckled and stood, carrying his slightly heavier son out towards the kitchen. "My... You did grow..." He grinned.

"Sur big sur big" he giggled and held his father's arm watching where they were going

Ala was in the kitchen, she had Surion's food ready o teh side but had set a place for Torvil, it was ready with his favorite breakfasty things and a flower in a glass

Torvil smiled and walked into the kitchen, he blinked at the place set for him. "What's the occasion?" He asked softly, bouncing Surion a little.

Ala chuckled "Didn't your son tell you?"

"Yeah, it's Dada's day... That doesn't make sense to me..." He murmured.

Ala chuckled and walked up to him taking Surion and putting him in his highchair before turning to look at him "Father's day, just like mother's day, cept for the father" she told him

Torvil blinked. "Well that still doesn't make sense..." He sat down and started to eat. "I mean, I understand mother's day... but what did the father do? Aside get the mother pregnant and support the family?" He tapped his chin. "I mean really... the mother does all the work... All the important stuff, like haul the child about and birth them..."

"And the father is there for them the entire way" she kissed his cheek "No arguing, it's father's day, the calendar says so" she said with a giggl

Torvil rolled his eyes. "Fine, you and the calendar win this round..." He murmured and smiled, pulling Ala closer for a soft kiss before he ate some more.

Ala purred softly returning his kiss

Torvil smiled and broke, finishing up his meal. "So what is the agenda for today?"

"Spend time with your son of course" Ala said with a chuckle feeding Surion who was eating greedily

Torvil chuckled. "Yes of course..." he grinned. "Anything else though?"

"After Surion is in bed for the night yes, but this is a day for the child to honor their father" she smirked

Torvil chuckled softly and stood. "Well then Surion, what do you want to do?"

Surion looked and blinked then grinned "Sur out!" he said with a grin

Torvil chuckled and moved over, taking Surion out of his highchair. "Okay now what?"

Surion pointed down "Down" he giggled

Torvil smiled and put him down, not thinking of the terror he could be unleashing upon the world.

Surion took hold of his hand and pulled heading out of the room

Torvil smiled and walked with him. "My you're quite the walker now..."

"Play" Surion grinned heading towards his room his father in tow

Ala chuckled and worked on cleaning up

Torvil chuckled. "Yay! Play!" He scooped Surion up in his arms laughing and running for Surion's room.

Surion giggled happily his blue hair moving in the breeze they made with their speed

Torvil chuckled and skidded to a stop in Surion's room. He dropped to his knees and put Surion down. "Growl!"

Surion tried to make his fiercest face "Grrrr" he said half of his face all scrunched up and his hands up fingers curled like they had claws

Torvil chuckled and growled for real, soft and low, a big grin on his face as he shows off his sharp finger nails.

Surion squealed and turned running into the room further

Torvil slowly got on all fours, slowly slinking forwards, his tail thrashing in the air quickly.

"Grrrr" Surion made his face again fingers up and curled, his tail swinging side to side

Torvil growled again, a little higher and a lot more playful, he bared his teeth and his eyes twinkled.

"Sur get... grrrr" Surion started to slink towards his father his own sharp teeth bared

Torvil grinned. "Torvil get Surrr...grrrwor..." He growled happily, his tail cracking in the air when he snapped it.

Surion kept moving closer walking as if stalking and growling both with his voice and the way his father did

Torvil couldn't help but chuckle mid growl. He smirked and shifted into pure dragon, his scales sucking in the light.

Surion's eyes stared at him and turn running and diving into his pile of stuffed dragons

Torvil slowly slunk forwards. "Surion..." His voice was a bit more raspy in this form.

Surion moved till he was squeezed behind his toy box but near the bottom of the pile waiting for his father to get closer

Torvil slowly started to root through the dragons with his head, his claws to either side so as to not damage the plushies.

Surion finished his trek behind the toy box and snuck around the far side only to pounce his father from behind growling playfully

Torvil let out a loud growling chuckle as he tail wrapped around Surion from behind and he lifted him up. He turned around and smiled, licking his muzzle. "Mmmm... Snack..."

Surion squirmed and squealed "Sur no snack" he said within that squeal

Torvil chuckled and put him down, moving quickly over him with a dragon grin. He started to lick Surion's face and growling happily.

Surion giggled lotsa putting his hands on his father's face to try and turn it

Torvil fought playfully with him, keeping up the licks before finally pulling his head away looking down at him.

"dada" Surion said with a grin

Torvil smiled. "Surion..." He growled happily and then purred. "Surion play more?"

Surion grinned and nodded "Sur play"

Torvil smiled and nuzzled him. "Mmmmm... What Sur play now?"

Surion held his arms out to his dad "Sur plane!"

Torvil smiled and reverted, scooping up Surion and rolling holding him above his head and making plane noises.

Surion giggled happily making plan noises too along with his father

Torvil grinned and flew him around for awhile.

Surion squealed happily "Apy Dada Day!" he cried out

Torvil smiled. "Yes! Yes it has been indeed!"

"Hug!" he said trying again to reach for his dad

Torvil smiled and lay him down atop him and hugged him close to him.

Surion clung happily to his father "Luv Dada"

Torvil smiled and kissed the top of his son's head. "Love you too Surion..."

"What do?" he asked looking up at his father still hugging him

Torvil smiled. "What Surion want do?" He chuckled softly

"Sur not know" he said his tail swinging happily

Torvil chuckled and kissed his head again. "Hmmm..." He let his tail poke Surion in the head and then fall to the ground softly.

Surion looked behind him curiously then back to his father "Out?"

Torvil chuckled softly and smiled. He sat up and grinned. "Okay..." He said, poking him in the head again.

Surion reached up trying to swat anything poking his head away

Torvil chuckled and his tail vanished from the area again. "Something pestering you?"

Surion whined and nodded "Bug Sur"

Torvil grinned and smirked. "Daddy knows what it is..."

"What is?" he asked looking around him

Torvil grinned and waved his tail slowly in Surion's face, the tip poking his nose.

Surion squealed grabbing the tail that was poking him

Torvil chuckled and grinned. "There it is..."

"Sur got" he said clinging tot he end of the tail

Torvil chuckled. "Yes, Sur got..." He smiled and walked out of the room towards the front door. "Where is your mother?"

"In the front room" Ala said

Surion leaned against his father holding the tail tightly in his hands

Torvil smiled and walked out, looking to Ala. "I'm taking Sur outside, want to come with?" he smiled. It was his day after all and wanted to spend some with his wife too...

"In a while, when Sur is down for his n-a-p" she said wanting him to have time with his son

Torvil nodded slowly and smiled weakly at her.

Ala smiled at him and sent him a message that should quiet him before she went back to the book she was reading

Surion reached one hand poking his father "Out?"

Torvil chuckled and grinned and then headed for the door. "Yeah... out..."

"Yay!" Surion grinned happily giving his mom a little wave before pointing for the door

Torvil looked very bemused as he walked out the door giving Surion a kiss on the cheek and waving to Ala as he walked out.

Surion looked back to his dad "Silly Dada" he giggled seeing his father's expression

Torvil smirked at Surion and nuzzled him. "Yes... Silly Dada..." He chuckled and put Surion down so he could run about.

Surion grinned still holding his father's tail and started off across the grass

Torvil chuckled and was forced to walk with his son as he was well... leashed.

Surion headed towards the side of the shop intent on walking around it

Torvil smiled and walked with him. "Where are you going Surion?" He smirked.

"Goig walk" he giggled still moving

Torvil smiled and kept walking. "Ah..." He grinned and walked a little faster, next to him.

Surion looked up at his father and pointed towards a familiar Balan basking in the sun ahead of them

Torvil smiled and looked at the Balan to check it's coloring.

Surion giggled and walked a little faster

Torvil smiled and whistled to Garion for a heads up. Garion's head perked up.

Surion grinned a hand reaching towards Garion as he approached, he thought Garion's fur was soft and wanted to play with it again

Garion chuckled at the child and sat patiently, though inside he was screaming to get away. Torvil grinned and waited for Surion to get to Garion.

Surion let go of Torvil's tail when he reached Garion and he buried his face into Garion's fur wrapping his arms as far around the balan's neck as he could

Garion started to purr softly when Surion did this. Torvil chuckled and smiled happily.

Surion looked up not letting go "Soft Dada" he said happily

Torvil smiled. "Yes he is..."

Thanks... Garion replied.

Surion giggled and nuzzled Garion and petting him for a while longer before he let go standing up and looking around to see what he could do next

Garion smiled and purred happily, laying back down when Surion was done.

Torvil watched Surion with a smile, his tail flicking about

Surion took off again no direction in particular around the front of the shop

Torvil grinned and walked with him quickly, not letting him out of his sight in an instant.

Surion stopped in front of one of the large picture windows standing on tippy toe and looking in

Torvil smiled and walked beside him. "Cool huh? This is where Daddy and mommy work... Maybe you will too someday..."

Surion looked up at him "Wrk?" he had a look of curiosity on his face

Torvil chuckled. "Not play, stuff you do to make money..." He chuckled softly.

Surion looked in again then lowered to his feet "Dada gogo" he said a slight whine to his voice

Torvil tilted his head. "Go where?"

Surion didn't replied instead the answer became obvious as his lip quivered and his pants became kinda... wet

Torvil nodded and walked over, patting his cheek. "I see, come, lets get you changed..."

Surion nodded "ucky" he whined

Torvil nodded. "Yep... Ucky..." He took Surion's hand and started walking back towards the house.

Surion walked with him unhappily

Torvil smiled softly and patted his cheek. "We'll get you all cleaned up and changed..."

"Otay Dada" he said tugging at the edge of his tunic with his free hand

Torvil smiled at his son and brushed his hair. "Good try though... Daddy should have figured..."

Surion nodded "Sur ucky" he said as they approached the house

Torvil nodded and picked Surion up, mindful of the wet. He entered and nuzzled Surion as he walked.

Surion clung to his father

Ala looked up hearing them enter

"Surion had an accident... My bad... I'm gonna get him changed..." He said softly as he moved past her.

Ala nodded "All right love" she said before looking down again

Torvil smiled and went to change Surion, but first, he put the boy in the bath.

"Baf?" Surion asked looking up his tail moving around behind him across the bottom of the tub

Torvil smiled and nodded. "Yep!" He turned on the water with a grin.

Surion grinned and leaned forward slapping his hands on the water as it filled the area around him

Torvil smiled and chuckled, leaning over the side of the tub his hands brushing Surion's hair.

Surion swished the water around in the tub as his father mussed with his hair, he liked water... a lot

Torvil smiled. "I see you are your mothers son..." he grinned and took this opportunity to do the same to Surion's Gem as he had to Ala all those long months ago.

Surion blinked and looked up at him "What Dada do?" he asked curiously

Torvil smiled as he finished the shield, then he 'tried' to flick Surion's gem, only to have his finger pushed back. "Good..."

Surion stared at his father blinking confusedly

Torvil smiled. "Just making Surion safe..." He patted his son's cheek and moved to get the soap.

Surion stared for a moment more then went back to playing with the water that surrounded his legs

Torvil smiled and let the water fill up before he started to pour it on Surion's head.

Surion giggled waving his hands in the water both around him and above him as it fell over his head

Torvil smiled and kept bathing him softly.

Surion giggled splashing a LOT of the water did not stay in the bathtub

Torvil chuckled and started to lather him up.

Surion didn't let up the splashing even as his father washed his skin and hair, he was having fun

Torvil laughed and rinsed him again. "Okay little man... It's time to dry off..."

Surion stopped and looked up at him "Dada dry too?"

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... Dada dry too... cause you got me all wet..."

Surion giggled and extended his arms up to his father for up

Torvil smiled and lifted him up, putting him down and emptying the tub as he went for his hidden supply of fluffy towels.

Surion stood totally nakie and shivering and got tired of waiting and took off into the bedroom and then into the hall

Torvil turned and came back with the towels. "Hey! Get back here you little naked boy!"

Surion's giggle could be heard from half way across the house

Torvil bolted after him with the towel, dripping water himself.

Surion giggled and wiggled his way into a hidden corner in the back of the kitchen

Torvil started to sniff him out, a lot easier now cause he was clean, and smelled like soap.

Surion giggled from where he was 'hiding'

Torvil found him and smirked. "Got you!"

Surion giggled "Dada got!" he said his tail moving playfully behind him as he looked up at his dad

Torvil smiled and tossed the towel on him he wrapped him up and carried him back to his own room.

Surion giggled and squirmed in his father's grip

Torvil chuckled and once Surion was dry and in his room, he started about getting him dressed.

Surion pulled his blanket through the bars of the crib and curled into the pile of stuffed dragons with it

Torvil chuckled and smiled at him, grabbing some new undie for him and some pants, forgoing a shirt for now.

Surion watched his father move about his room

Torvil smiled and brought the clothes over. "Okay little dude... up..."

Surion sat up "Up" he said

Torvil smiled. "Stand..." he chuckled, moving over with the undies.

Surion pushed himself up to stand still holding his blanket

Torvil smiled and slowly slipped the clothes on him.

"On on on" Surion said holding his father's shirt as he got dressed

Torvil smiled and brushed his hair. "There..." He said finishing the snap on the pants.

Surion smiled and looked at himself for a moment before letting go of his dad and plopping back down on his bottom

Torvil smiled. "So now what little Surion?" He smiled.

Surion flopped back over into the stuffies with a soft yawn

Torvil smiled and brushed his hair softly, starting to hum.

Surion was soon asleep atop of the pile of stuffed animals curled with his blanket

Torvil smiled and stood up moving out of the room to find Ala.

Ala sat in the living room reading her book still

Torvil came up behind her and brushed her hair. "Surion's asleep..."

"In his crib?" she asked hearing his voice and looking up

"No... In his animals... I'll move him if you want me too... He's taking a nap..."

"Never know what he'll get into once he wakes if we don't hear him right away" she said

Torvil nodded and kissed the top of her head, heading back and putting Surion in his crib, wrapped up in his blankie.

Surion stirred only momentarily to roll over

Torvil smiled and brushed his hair. "Love you Surion..." He walked back out to Ala.

Dear Diary

Well that was a fun morning, I guess this was Torvil's first celebrated Father's Day, he didn't seem to think it was something that should be celebrated though... I think thats kinda odd.... Oh well, he and Surion seemed to have a lot of fun together and thats what counts

On another note Surion's potty training seems to be coming along if slow, oh well, soon....

Torvil' Journal

Dear Journal,

What A wonderful day... I didn't really know they had a day for fathers... I knew they had a day for mothers... That makes sense to me... They do all the real hard work... Oh well, I guess I'll take the day. Ala insists... Surion's learning to use the big-boy potty now, coming on just spot I think... My fault today I think... I'll work with him on it...

Surion meets Mia

Ala sat in Barton's park on the grass watching her son who was toddling about yanking up dandelions and dragging his blanket around as he did it.

Caroline sat on a swing in the park; she gently pushed the swing a bit by shuffling her feet on the ground. "Mia Moore!" She cooed kissing a tiny bundle of pink blankets in her arms. Caroline pulled back a corner of the blanket and grinned.

Mia gazed up at her mother, her eyes wide and bright. She was so alert and happy as she made little gurgling noises.

Ala chuckled "Slow down Surion son, not so far from Mama" she said having to get up to follow him

"Flowers Mama" he informed her as he started in the directions of the playground area of the park with Ala in hot pursuit

Caroline glanced up from her bundle of love and smiled, she had awaited the day Mia would meet Surion. She called from afar with a giggle. "Ala!" Caroline lifted a hand and gave a little wave as the other held onto Mia cautiously.

Ala looked up from her gaze on her son "Hey there Caroline" she returned the wave and hurried to catch up to Surion so she might steer him in the direction she wanted him to go

Surion looked up at her when she did "Goin that" he pointed away towards the slide that Tinania had taken him down when he was younger

Ala shook her head "No Surion This way" she said managing to head for Caroline

Mia wiggled her tiny pink button nose a bit as she made little baby giggles.

Caroline smiled at her daughter and mussed her hair around a bit tenderly. "How are you? I bet you haven't seen this little one!" She grinned propping up her daughter a bit, proud of the tiny being that lay in her arms.

"You had your child!" Ala grinned holding Surion's hand to keep him from wandering off "Congrats Caroline"

"Well you know, s**t happens..." Caroline chuckled at her 'joke'

Ala chuckled softly "So what's your bundle of joy's name?" she asked

Surion had by now gotten curious and toddled closer to Caroline and the bundle she held

"This is lil' Mia Moore Rose." She flashed her pearly whites as Surion approached her. "Well, well Surion has sure grown into a handsome tot." Caroline ruffled Surion's hair a bit knowing he probably didn't enjoy that very much. "Would you like to meet Mia Surion?" She asked in a soft voice and bent over so Surion could get a better look at Mia.

"Sur hair!" he said drawing a hand to his head but quickly got distracted by the infant, when he smiled he revealed the few teeth that had grown, all of which were pointy and sharp like his fathers "lil" he said looking down at Mia with his his blue eyes his tail swinging back and forth behind himself

"Lovely name" Ala said with a smile and a nod as she watched her son "Careful Surion, gentle" she told him

Mia gurgled and waggled her chubby hands at Surion. She brushed her tiny soft hands against his face happily; Mia was hopping to get a piece of hair to tug on.

"Thank you, aw don't worry!" Caroline smiled then looked down at Mia. "Be careful Surion sweetie, this one is a grabber!"

Surion stood on his tippy toes looking down at her, he kept easily out of the reach of the infant, well at least his hair "lil " he reached his finger towards her face his finger poked her cheek

Mia smacked her lips together a bit, she grabbed hold of Surion's curious fingers and started to gum one. " mm mm mm"

"No no nonono" Surion pulled his hand to try and escape her grip "Mama lil got" he said, Surion's finger slipped out of Mia's mouth.

She started sniffling a bit, her eyes got big as well as a little pout formed on her lips "mm--!" Her eyes got watery as a little cry sneaked out from her lips, and there was little Mia crying because of an escaped finger.

Caroline pulled back Mia's blanket a bit so her head wings peeked out. "Shh Mia, sweets! Don't cry over an escaped finger." She cradled Mia a bit.

Ala looked on "She likes fingers doesn't she" she said softly

"I think it's the gumming aspect of it…" Caroline giggled.

Ala chuckled "Surion used a stuffed dragon for that for the longest time, when was your little sweetie born?" she asked

Surion watched for another minute before turning and toddling a few feet away to the sandbox looking into it

"A week ago…" Caroline nodded her eyes trailing Surion for a minute then looked up at Ala.

Mia stopped crying, her back wings flickered a bit underneath the blanket and her head wings moved back a bit as if to tell she was a bit upset like an animal instinct.

Ala smiled looking down at her "hey there little Mia, you are too cute to cry" she said softly

Mia gurgled at Ala and waggled her arms in the air.

Ala chuckled letting Mia get a hold of one of her fingers "You are just cute Mia" she said glancing back at Surion

Surion had dropped his blanket beside the sandbox and now was pushing the sand around his tail dragging across the sand as he moved leaving strange tracks

Mia flashed a toothless smile and shook Ala's finger a bit. "Voo Voo!" She gurgled making little O shapes with her mouth.

"Gotta love them at this age Caroline, so very precious" Ala said with a soft chuckle

"Mm hm, I have two now, Ari Fionn, and this little one." Caroline poked Mia's nose. "You guys will have to meet Ari one day; he's an adorable little red head who is just as cute, chubby and cuddly as this one."

Ala chuckled "Enjoy this age while it lasts, my others are all grow and have had kids. and kids, and kids...." her voice trailed off at that fact "Sometimes I wonder if it's them and not my Dragonic side that gave me this gray hair" she laughed

Caroline giggled. "Good thing when Mia's older she won't have to worry about that.." She ruffled Mia's pure cream white hair.

Ala laughed "Yeah but I hope for your sake you are not a great grandmother while you are young"

Surion toddled over his hands full of sand "Ta?" he asked Caroline

"Oo?" Caroline's eyes lit up by the site of Surion's handful of sand. "For me?" She bent over with a grin and took a pinch of sand between her fingers.

Surion grinned his tail swinging rapidly behind him after Caroline had taken some he turned heading for the sand once again

Ala chuckled "Silly boy" she mused

GMFC Visit & an accident

Tue Jun 28, 2005 ~ Page 2688-2695

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala opened the door holding it open "Come on Surion love, you can go after the bug later" she said looking back towards the bushes

"'tay Mama" Surion said a pout in his voice as he toddled in dragging his black and red blanket with him

Pink Lemonade

Pink juggled Maddie in her arms as she pushed open the door. As she shifted the bag off of her sun burnt shoulder and on to the ground she looked around.

"See anyone baby?" She asked, turning around so Maddie could see everybody.

Caroline walked along the path towards the gmfc with two babies in her arms, Ari and Mia. "Almost there loves...." She said panting a bit. "Why do you guys have to be so heavy." Caroline whined re-adjusting the babies in her arms. The site of the gmfc made Caroline smile with relief, she approached the door and knocked on it with her elbow. "Hellluuuu?" She smushed her face against the glass like a 5 year old, well until she stumbled in not realizing one could PUSH the door open. "Few!" Caroline kissed both baby's foreheads in relief.

Chibi-Baka-chan

"Hurry!" Sachiya insisted, tugging on the few strands of blue hair he could reach, as they approached the clinic. He wanted to go inside! Perhaps Note was there! Then he would have someone to play with!

Chibi sighed softly, shifting the toddler to his other arm so he could open the door, slipping inside. Hoping to spy Hinote before Sachiya did, so as he didn't have to listen to the toddler's squeals for too long, the tanuki was almost glad when he didn't see him. It would be nice for his son to make some different friends.

Caroline situated herself then placed both babies on the floor. " Well, isn't this a nice floor." She giggled leaning back in the chair she sat in.

Mia and Ari sat on their bulky buttoms, they looked up at Caroline as if to admire her like the Goddess she was...well, maybe she thought she was only in her imagination.

Ala turned just in time to see Caroline tumble into the clinic and surpressed a chuckle

Surion dropped his blanket on a chair looking around "play?" he asked, his tail swinging around contently as he tried to find toys and kids to play with

Mia glanced up at Surion and flashed a toothy grin. She sure reconized him. "Sssss." Mia failed her arms out a bit, reaching for Surion.

Ari looked at Mia, he stuck his thumb into his mouth as he clung to his unicorn plushie.

Chibi-Baka-chan

After finding no Hinote, Sachiya's attention moved to Surion, raccoon ears flipping forward. He had a tail! "There!" He insisted, pointing towards the other toddler, looking up at his Daddy to make sure his demand would get met.

Following Sachiya's pointing finger, Chibi carefully placed the toddler down beside Surion, moving to sit on one of the nearby seats to just observe.

"Taaail!" Sachiya said excitedly, pointing at Surion's tail.

Surion crouched byside Mia and poked her forehead

Ala dropped into a chair watching "gentle Surion" she told him

Surion looked up when he saw a shadow and saw another boy around his age, he grinned his sharp toothy grin and took hold of his tail hearing Sachiya's word "Tail" he agreed and stood up again

Pink Lemonade

Pink turned around and low and behold, there was everyone. She meandered over towards the group and plopped herself beside them and Maddie in her lap who was busy looking wide-eyed at everyone and tasting her paw, recognizing a few.

"Hi everybody!" Pink said happily.

Chibi-Baka-chan

"No' like Chi's tail?" Sachiya added as an afterthought, swishing his own tail. This boy's was thin and black and had a funny thing on the end of it. His was fluffy and bigger. Oh well. It was cool still. Flopping down cross-legged on the floor, the toddler pointed to himself. "Sa-chi-ya." Pointing to Surion, he asked brightly. "Namae?"

Mia wobbled backwards with a pout. "SSsssss!" She repeated to lazy to go on a high-speed chase after Surion. "SSsssssssssss!"

"hehe, I think Mia's used to it by now?" Caroline pointed to the bright redheaded baby. "Evil has a new name?" She joked ruffling Ari's hair.

Ari glanced up at Caroline innocently sucking his thumb.; his thumb sucking melody was in perfect tune.

"Hello! " Caroline waved to Pink with a smirk.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion grinned seeing Sachiya had a tail as well though it wasn't the same but that didn't matter "Surion" he said he looked between the two, Sachiya and Mia and sat down between them, Sachiya however was drawing more of his interest being the first boy his own age he had met

Chibi-Baka-chan

Chibi waved in return to Pink, red eyes drawn to what seemed to be a teddy bear on her lap. Only teddy bears definitely weren't alive. How curious.

"Su-ri-on." Sachiya repeated, deciding that a shorter name was needed. After all, he had his named shortened. He would call this one 'Suri'. Staring past the boy at Mia, the toddler tilted his head, scrunching up his nose. Why was she hissing like that?

Surion shook his head "No Suri... Sur... Dada calls Sur" he said not wanting to be called something he wasn't used to he pointed at Mia, "Mia" he told his new friend

Pink Lemonade

Pink waved to Caroline and Chibi. "Have I brought Maddie in here when you guys were here? I know Ala was here once, Surion seems like he's grown!" She commented, turning Maddie a little in her lap to see Surion.

"Member him?" She asked Maddie who tilted her head in a response. He looked familiar...was he the one with the tail?

Ala smiled and waved to Pink "Hey there" she said moving closer to Pink and Maddie "Hows Maddie and yourself?" she asked

Chibi-Baka-chan

Sachiya shook his head. "Suri! 's nicer?" He didn't want to call the other boy Sur. It was too short, and it didn't end in one of those nice sounds. Vowels, or whatever they were called. At the mention of Mia's name, his ears flicked forward, before he muttered. "Mia no hiss. 's mean."

Pink Lemonade

"We are good!" Pink said, bouncing Maddie a little in her lap and watched her giggle. "She's starting to learn how to crawl, still prefers her rolling but she can move a little better now. Just gotta baby proof the house before she gets into everthing." Pink told Ala with a laugh.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala smiled "She's getting bigger, it's a fun age, never seems to last long enough though..." she chuckled

"Sur..." Surion insisted "Dada calls Sur" he pointed to himself, His dada gave him that name and he liked it, his tail flicking back and forth

Pink Lemonade

Pink smiled to Ala "I wouldn't mind her being able to talk, its a little hard to decifer her baby speak!" She said and as if Maddie knew exactly what she was talking about and wanted to stick up forherself she answered.

"Gwabably gwoobably GEEEEEW!" She said, folding her furry paws in front of her chest. She was VERY easy to understand!

Ala laughed "Yes, they can be a lil tough to decipher, but that dont stop them from being adorable... I put Maddie's gift on one of Surion's upper shelves so she can be rest assured he didn't eat it"

Pink Lemonade

Pink smiled and ruffled the hair atop Maddie's head. "That's good, it prolly wouldn't taste too good if he was looking for a snack aways." She said with a laugh.

Chibi-Baka-chan

"Nuh-uh!" Sachiya shook his head, not wanting to call the other boy "Sur." Suri was better. "Not Sur. Suri." One raccoon ear flicked backwards, starting to get irritated with this conversation. He could call the boy whatever he wanted!

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania slipped into the clinic humming the her music on her cd. Dressed in a paid on shorts and a pink halter top, and sandels she looked ready to go swimming.

Rose and Lollipop followed after her like always, Rose was running from Lollipop. As Tinania reached the closes chair she set her emo bag down as looked though it until she found a rubber band. Pulling her hair up she smiles and continues to look though her bag.

Talonfaust

The door to the GMFC opened and closed as someone entered. Talon looked as though this was the last place in the world he wanted to be at the moment...but then, he always looked like that about everywhere he went.

In a sling that hung around his neck, baby Zhane was nestled and sleeping. He'd taken it upon himself to give Yeande a chance to sleep today and take Zhane out on his own for a bit. He'd instantly regretted this decision as soon as he'd left the house when it occurred to him that this would be his first time "flying solo". With any luck. Dr. Jenkins would be working today and he could ask her some questions. Eyeing the others distrustfully, he took a seat a safe distance away from them.

In doing so, the infant sleeping against his chest stirred and awoke with a soft noise, blinking his still-blue eyes sleepily. Still being rather new, he couldn't quite see far enough ahead of himself to focus on details, but he could recognize that this was a place he'd not been before. Making a heroic effort at lifting his head, Zhane attempted to investigate.

Chibi-Baka-chan

Chibi looked towards the door as Tinania entered, recognizing the teen almost instantly, mainly because of her wings and the cat who accompanied her. How could he forget Havok's number-one-fan Rose? "Hey Tinania."

When the door opened again, the tanuki's attention was diverted, red eyes moving to look at Talonfaust and the baby he held in his arms. He'd never seen him before. No use not being friendly. Raising his hand in a small wave, Chibi turned his attention back to Tinania when the man sat down. If he wanted to come over and chat, he could do so. He was too comfortable to get up.


Sachiya too looked up as Tinania came in, his ears perking instantly. He knew her! And her kitty! Giggling happily, he waved to Rose, hoping she would come over and visit. She was so cool!

Pink Lemonade

Pink turned around when she heard the door opening a few times and waved everyone over. "Come on in!" She said cheerfully noticing once GMFC child she knew; the one that held the promise of babysitting!

Surion shook his head he was not thrilled, he grin seeing who entered "tinanana!" he called still not quite getting her name he said

Talonfaust

Zhane, thankfully, had not seemed to absorb his father's antisocial countenance and, at the sound of voices, he broke into a wide grin. Some of the blobs of color on the other side of the room were moving...maybe those were people? In proclamation of his happiness, he gave a small happy shriek that made his father cringe.

"Don't do that." Talon warned, pointing at the baby. In response, Zhane seized the finger that had come into his field of vision and glomped down on it with his toothless mouth, giggling and burbling.

Mia eyed the two males curiously, all she got out of their converstation was her name. "Sssssss!" She took in pleasure of saying again

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania looked over when she heard her name. For once she decided not to blare her music. Slipping her headphones off she smiled waving to everyone "Hey long time no see..." she picks up her bag walking over toward them. She waved to the man sitting down with the younger child as she passed by them.

Bowing to the group she smiles "Afternoon Ms. Pink, Mr. Chibi, Mrs Ala. How are all of you today?" She kneeled down near the kids holding her arms out. She had to do a double take at Surion "Surion, hey sweetie, you grew, and you can say my name.." she leans down and kisses his cheek before tickling Sachiya and Maddie, before looking back up to the adults.

Rose ran over and curled up next to Sachiya. She remember this little guy, he was so nice to her, she purred and mewed at him. Lollipop clicked a few time before flying around the room.

"Good day Tinania" Ala greeted her with a nod and a smile

Surion grinned happily and stood up toddling over "Sur miss Tinanana" he said having not seen her in quite a while

Chibi-Baka-chan

"Pretty good. How about you?" Chibi replied, chuckling softly as she knelt down near the kids. He liked her. She was always polite, and Sachiya seemed to really get along well with her. Havok said she was nice too, though, Havok's opinion was usually completely ignored by our favourite tanuki.

Sachiya squealed when he was tickled, giggling as he attempted to get away from those tickling fingers. "No tickle!" She wasn't playing fair! Finally able to move out of the way, the toddler's attention was quickly drawn to Rose, who was curled up against him. She remembered him! Yay! Reaching down to pet her gently, he murred happily.

Pink Lemonade

Maddie clapped her paws together, not making much sound because of the fur but the action got across. She remembered this one she thought as she giggled from the tickles.

Pink waved happily to Tin "Afternoon...oh boy its getting late," She said, looking down at her watch glumly, "We better get going."

With a hoist of Maddie and the bag, they were out of the clinic.

Tinania smiles huging Surion close as she looks to Sachiya "So when did you grow Sachiya? Your a big boy now." she smiles as she looks up waving goodbye to Ms. Pink and Maddie. She glances back at Ms. Ala and Mr. Chibi "That good to here, and I'm doing good, I just finished working, so I thought I come by the clinic. I hadn't been here in a long time...."

Rose purrs flicking her tail around on the ground, she playfully bats at Sachiya's fingers. Tinania smiles and runs her hand though Surion's hair "I hear I'll be babysitting you again soon." she looks a Sachiya "Maybe if you talk to your daddy I'll be able to babysit you also." she pokes his nose lightly and smiles.

Talonfaust

Zhane quickly lost interest in slobbering on Talon's finger, the tiny blue-and-purple earfins on the sides of his head expanding to their limit to hear the other voices better. Those were what REALLY interested in him at the moment. There were people here, why wasn't he being allowed to go visit? Mommy always let him meet people!

He began to fuss, trying in vain to squirm out of the sling as Talon watched apprehensively. Did he need feeding? He wasn't like Yeande who seemed to be able to tell exactly what the kid needed just by the tone of his cry. Must be a mother thing. He pulled a small capped bottle from his coat pocket and, pulling the plastic cap off, attempted to offer it to his son who turned his head stubbornly away with another petulant wail. Okay...that clearly wasn't it...diaper, then? A quick check showed that wasn't the problem either and Zhane was still fussing.

Wincing helplessly, Talon wondered if maybe he ought to leave before he started to annoy people with his ineptitude at figuring out what his son wanted. It was like being a veterinarian's office with a little yappy poodle that wouldn't shut up...but at least you could whop a poodle with a rolled-up newspaper and nobody looked at you too oddly for it. If you tried that with a baby, they'd take custody away from you.

"Sit Sur?" he asked and his grin spread across his face and he let out a loud happy squeal wrapping his arms around Tinania's legs

Chibi-Baka-chan

Chibi nodded, tilting his head at the mention of work. "Where do you work, Tinania?"

Sachiya looked up when Tinania spoke to him, nodding eagerly when she said he was a 'big boy.' He knew what that meant. His Da said it to him all the time. So did Shija. His ears perked slightly at the mention of talking to his daddy, the interested look turning into a small frown in a matter of seconds. "Chiya not a baby?" He protested, pouted. She had just said he was a big boy! Squeaking when Rose bats at his fingers, he giggled, wiggling his fingers in the air. He wanted her to do that again!

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania smiles "I work with my friend Kira, she a drow on our estate, I help her with teaching potions to some of the others on the estate." she glances over when she hears the fussing of the younger child. Tilting her head she wanted to ask the older man if he wanted to join them, but she felt it wasn't her place.

She turned back to Surion when he squeeled and giggles "Yup, it means I can take you to the park again." she pokes his nose and smiles before looking to Sachiya "Yes you are a big boy, I meant it means dady can have some free time, and you'll be able to play with me at the park. I took Surion to the park and we got to go down the slide. Plus I have a hover disc I fly around on. Its really fun...Its a big kid toy" her wings flutter alittle as she tickles both the little boys bellies.

Rose mews and jumps into the air batting at his finger, she jumps from side to side then jumped at his hands again.

Surion squealed in laughter wanting to both cling to her and get away from the tickles "Nononono"he cried out in his giggles but not moving away from her

Chibi-Baka-chan

"Sounds interesting." Chibi said after a pause, hoping that he sounded like he'd meant that. Personally, he wouldn't be too thrilled about teaching potions to others, but if it made Tinania happy, she might as well do it. Sounded more a Havok-type job to him.

Sachiya tilted his head at her explanation, repeating one of the words she'd said. "Park?" What was that? And what were these 'slide' things? It sounded rather suspicious to him. He didn't want to go if it was dangerous. "Whasa park? Sounds weird."

He grinned as Rose continued to play with his hand, moving around on the floor like he'd seen Mae's spider move.

Talonfaust

Talon squirmed, suddenly feeling very much like an outsider in the presense of the people nearby who clearly knew more about what they were doing than he did. Maybe he would take Zhane somewhere else where the parenting was just as inept as his own was so he wouldn't stick out as badly...like a McDonalds Playplace.

As he moved to get up, Zhane quieted himself, thinking maybe daddy had finally understood and was going to bring him over to meet the others. Instead, daddy was puzzled and sat back down again, only to have the fussing begin once more. Talon's ears laid back in frustration.

"What...??" he hissed quietly. "What do you want?" The infant twisted in the sling toward the others once more and finally, Talon understood. The ijiuo looked toward the strangers again calculatingly. They...-seemed- amiable, he supposed. Reluctantly, he rose from where he was sitting and approached, gratified when Zhane quieted once more.

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania smiles "It it fun, at least to me, I get to be with people I know and get to teach at the same time. And when I'm not teaching, well I'm learning drow from Kira, which is even better..." she pushes a piece of her hair from her face.

Rose sinks down to the ground watching Sachiya hand, when she was sure she could catch it she leapted foward "I got you!!!!"

Tinania laughs then stops tickling Surion as she tries to think of a way to explain a park. She smiles and picks up Surion placing him in her lap as she looked to Sachiya. "A park is a place where you can go to meet other kids. Its like here, only outside, and there things to play on. A slide being one of the items. Its really fun."

Tinania looks over when the man walks towards them she smiles and nods her head "Your welcome to join us if you like, I'm Tinania" her wings flutter as she waves at the little one.

Ala stood up and wandered towards The male and his infant "Hello, I'm Ala..." she said introducing herself to Talon after watching him trying to sort out the child's problem "You have a very cute looking bundle of joy"

Surion grinned reached up to give Tinania a hug "Hug Sur" he said happily

Chibi-Baka-chan

Chibi nodded, glad she at least liked what she was doing. Working without enjoying what you were doing made the work even work. He knew. The tanuki's attention was drawn away from Tinania and his son at the sound of approaching footsteps, looking upwards towards Talonfaust and Zhane. Boy did the man look out of place. Probably one of the newer parents. "Hey there." He said, smiling warmly. The kid was cute.

Sachiya gave a startled squeak when his hand was caught, before making a face at rose. "No fair! You're a kitty!" Kitties were always faster than he was at catching things. It was just natural. It didn't seem to occur to him that Rose might not know why she had the advantage. Turning back to Tinania when she explained what a "park" was, the toddler took a moment to think about it. Outside. But you got to meet other kids. "Sounds a'right."

At the sound of Talonfaust coming towards them, his ears swiveled around backwards, before he turned to look up at the pair. O_O "Ears!" He exclaimed gleefully, having caught sight of Zhane's unusual ears.

Talonfaust

Talon's immediate impulse was to shrink back from from Ala, but he stood his ground nonetheless. "Hello." he greeted her, trying to keep his tail from lashing behind him. "Thank you."

Zhane, on the other hand, grinned in Ala's direction, able to make out more of her since she was closer. Her hair color, her clothes, and she had a nice voice like mommy did. He extended one tiny hand toward her, fingers opening and closing. A younger voice nearby proclaimed "Ears!" and made him look in its direction, said "ears" perking, the membrane vibrating a bit. This was much more entertaining than sitting by themselves on the other side of the room!

Ala smiled kindly sensing the nervousness and looked down at the infant before offering her finger to the child "Very adorable, I miss this age"

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania hugs Surion then looks back to The older man again, she smiles glad to see that he wanted to join them, she looked back to Sachiya when he yelled out ears, she couldn't help but giggle.

Rose looks towards the man who walked up then back at Sachiya, she mews then shakes her tail before rolling around. Aww she lost the attnetion of the little one she was playing with.

Tinania tilts her head back and closes her eyes, she winces when her wings start to hurt alittle but shakes it off. Maybe she had moved them to much. She opened her eyes again and just sat there in silence looking at the kids then the adults.

Chibi-Baka-chan

They could perk too! And they vibrated! So cool! Sachiya reached for the nearest chair, using it to pull himself up and wander over to where Talonfaust and Zhane were. Staring up at the baby, he gave Talonfaust's shirt a gentle tug. "Can Chiya see?" He asked, adding quickly. "Please."

Surion looked up at Tinania a curious expression on his face "Why Tinanana quiet, Tinanana ow?" he asked her

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania looks down at Surion and smiles pokes his nose lightly "I'm okay Surion, I'm just watching you big boys play..." she smiles again masking the pain from her eyes.

Rose tilts her head looking at Tinania, mewing softly she walks over and curls up close to Tinania closing her eyes, she yawns and wrinkles her nose alittle.

Talonfaust

Talon was about to reply to Ala...likely to say something to the effect of "But I'm sure your sleep schedule doesn't", but was interrupted by the tug on his shirt that made him jolt slightly as he looked down at Sachiya. See what?

It took him a moment to realize he meant the baby and complied, moving the sling so that Zhane could reach Sachiya and vice versa....he hoped none of these kids had a cold or a flu that Zhane would bring home with him later...he was hoping to avoid the "joys" of a sick baby for as long as possible.

Realizing he'd remained silent, he turned back to Ala. "We're still learning...he's not been with us very long"

Zhane squealed as Ala moved slightly out of his field of view, but then blinked as someone else came into it. Something reddish brown and more his size. He blinked inquisitively and leaned forward toward the toddler in front of him.

"Otay Tinanana..." he slid down from her lap and took hold of her hand "Play with Sur" he grinned widely having finally noticed some toys and a small kids table

Ala smiled "They are blessing" she said and watched the infant "Well looks like your little one enjoys meeting people"

Chibi-Baka-chan

Ooh, this man was so smart. Grinning happily as Zhane was lowered to where he could see him better, Sachiya reached out to touch the boy gently. His kitty had told him about babies, and how you had to be really careful with them. Shija had even said that they could break if you handled them too roughly. Carefully touching one of the baby's funny ears, he murred softly, leaning in to allow one of his own raccoon ears to come in contact with the boy's skin. His fur was soft. It wouldn't hurt him. Realizing that he didn't known the boy's name, Sachiya gently tugged on Talonfaust's shirt, waiting until he had the man's attention. "Whassis name?"

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania and smiles following him. Sitting down near the table, she took him into her lap again and smiles "Okay what do you want to play?" she looked at all the different toys, she remember playing with these when she was his age.

Rose opens her eyes looking around, she mews and takes off towards the emo bag, leaning back onto her hind legs she climbs into the emo and mews, staying out of the way.

Lollipop clicks a few times looking over everyone around her. Moving her gears she watched the man with the child then looked around at the others.

"Blocks" Surion said with a grin reaching for the bloocks the first toy he saw that was familiar to him.

Talonfaust

"That...makes one of us, then." Talon told Ala quietly. He hadn't meant the remark to be insulting, but he still didn't care much for people. Having a job in customer service hadn't helped matters at all. His eyes darted in Sachiya's direction briefly. "Zhane." he answered simply.

Zhane cooed and giggled at the feel of the other boy's fur. He recognized the feeling from when Karma had held him at home, but Sachiya's was softer. He reached out, his fingers finding the Sachiya's ear and latching onto it...not hard enough to hurt, however. Thankfully he wasn't old enough to have any real yank to his grip yet.

Chibi-Baka-chan

Zhane? That was a nice name. "Zhane." Sachiya repeated, looking back towards the baby, only to find one of his ears currently held by the said child. It wasn't rough, but the toddler wasn't too fond of people grabbing his ears. Then again, he didn't want to break the baby. As long as he didn't pull, it would be okay. "Zhane like Chiya's ears?" He asked, wiggling the one in the baby's grasp.

Ala chuckled softly, she didn't mind when she met people who liked to keep to themselves. She glanced over towards her son smiling to see him playing with tinania

Tinania C DarkAngel

Tinania smiles picking up the blocks and setting one on top of the other. She looks at Surion and smiles "What would you like to build with the blocks?" she runs her hand though her hair, then looks back to the blocks.

Talonfaust

Zhane grinned in response as the fuzzy thing in his grip wriggled, his hold staying tight on the ear for a moment more before, as babies were apt to do, his attention wandered and he released it. His earfins flared once more as he listened to Talon and Ala talk somewhere above him. He liked hearing people talk...especially when they were holding him. It made a sort of comforting vibratey feeling pass through him.

"T'wer" he replied grinning and bouncing happily starting to put the blocks atop of each other

Chibi-Baka-chan

Sachiya did his best to resist the urge to pull his ear away as the grip tightened, stopping the wiggling ear. At least Zhane had liked it. He had smiled and all. As his ear was released, the toddler took a step back, giving the ear a tentative rub. The baby hadn't been rough, but his ears were still very sensitive.

"Sachiya. We have to go, pup."

Looking towards his Daddy as his name was called, he made a face at the mention of going home, but trotted back anyways. He and Shija could watch more movies, or do something cool. Reaching his arms up to be picked up, the toddler murred contentedly when his silent demand was met. "Baaai!" He called over Chibi's shoulder as the tanuki waved, the two disappearing out the door to the clinic, headed back home.

Sirenz

Sirenz and baby Xander come in the clinic and have a seat. Sirenz takes out a bottle and feeds her baby while he gurgles happily. smile

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion turned holding a block in each hand "Tinanana turn" he said holding them out to her with a grin

Ala waved to Sachiya and Chibi as they leave and sits down

Talonfaust

As Sachiya was taken up by his father, Talon felt a slight surge of relief. Being overbearing by nature, he wasn't sure he really was comfortable with other children playing with Zhane yet. Likely, Yeande would clobber him for it later and give him a lecture about children needing to socialize, but...she wasn't here at the moment.

Taking the out as it was offered before someone or something else could occupy them further and deciding that perhaps Dr. Jenkins wasn't around after all, Talon hitched Zhane a bit further up on his shoulder so that he was nestled against his chest once more. "We ought to go too." he told Ala in what he hoped was an apologetic voice, but more likely sounded as though he was grateful to leave. "Perhaps we'll meet again sometime."

Zhane gave a squeal of protest as the soft-eared boy left and then another as Talon started for the door. He didn't want to go yet! They'd just gotten there! Thankfully, he had silenced by the time they reached the door, finding his vision dazzled by the sunlight outside and suddenly becoming interested in that rather than throwing a tantrum at being denied new friends.

A moment later, they were gone.

Tinania smiles taking the blocks and setting them up to look like a pyramid. She looked to Surion and wrinkles her nose "How does that look?" she looks up and waves to the young man and the child before smiling and waving to the lady who had come into the clinic.

Sirenz

Baby Xander turns his head and sees some children playing with blocks. He starts to squirm from his mommy's embrace, wanting to join them.

"Xander, you are still too young. ^^" Sirenz says with a smile. She brings Xander to her shoulder and pats him on the back to get him to burp. The tiny bubbles in Xander's belly give out a cute sound.

He arches his back and continues to watch the other children, sucking his clawed thumb with interest.

Taking Surion into her arms she stands heading towards the bathroom, she looks to Surion as she opens the bathroom door. Placing him down she looks to him "Okay Surion can go go..."

Tinania looks back at Ms. Ala, at that point trying hard to keep the blush down and not crying. She felt so stupid, her voice was shaking alittle as she held Surion towards his mother "I didn't know what to do....I'm so sorry..." her wings moving quicker then ever as she looked away from Ms. Ala.

Ala took her son from her and put him down on the counter stripping his bottom half using paper towels and water to clean him up "It's ok Tinania" she said softly "He's just learning is all, no reason to be upset or anything about" she was glad she brought his bag as she pulled ut a spare pair of underpants and pants dressing him again, then put him on the floor

Surion toddled across the floor avoiding his mess that his mom worked on cleaning up and wrapped his arms around her leg

Tinania looks down at Surion then looks at Ala "I never have to deal with that at home. Lorelei, Nana, and Merawen also handle the babes when they gotta use the bathroom." she leans down picking up Surion and holds him close kissing his cheek "I'm sorry sweetie, can you forgive me?" she breaths in slowly glad she hadn't done anything wrong, and more so that she wasn't in any trouble.

"Thats ok Tinania, Torvil didn't even know how to deal with it the first time Surion informed him he had to go" she said softly

Tinania smiles and actually giggles alittle "Really? Okay I don't feel that bad now. And yea I'm okay Surion." she holds him close as her wings finally stop moving. She pokes Surion's nose lightly and wrinkles her nose letting him know she was okay.

Tinania laughs and smiles following Ala out into the main room again. She seats down in one of the chairs placing Surion in her lap "Yea I'm all better now." she bounces Surion in her lap as she leaned back aginst the chair feeling more at ease now. She knew that when she got home she had to talk to Lorelei, Merawen, and Nana.

Ala looked at her watch and cringed "Darn it all... Tinania we gotta go, I wanted to stop and see Estra before going home"

Tinania smiels and nods "Okay, I have to be on my way too, I promise mum I would be home before sun down, and well its not sun down anymore..." she leans in and kisses Surion's forehead. "I'll see you soon little guy okay?" she looks back up to Ala "Give me a call when you need me to babysit.." she leans down picking up her emo back and the sleeping Lollipop.

She stands handing Surion back over to his mother then smiles "Have fun with Estra, and I will see you soon." she bows before turning and heading towards the door. She only stops to check the inside of her bag, when she sees that Rose is sleeping inside she smiles. Turing she waves to Ala and Surion before slipping out of the clinic and racing off towards home.

"Will do on all accounts" Ala says with a smile as she shifted Surion to a good carrying position Surion waved his byebye to Tinania as she left. Making sure she didn't forget anything Ala walked from the clinic and unfurled her wings taking to the sky holding Surion, his bag and his blanket

Ok I feel sorry for Tinania, as funny as it was at first she seemed to feel really upset about Surion having an accident. He'll learn though hopefully Nani wont have to deal with it in the same way again.

Surion seemed to have fun overall though. He played with Tinania and the blocks at the clinic he seems to have a lot of fun with her

Surion, Dada and the Car

Torvil grunted as he walked with the black Corvair above his head, it wasn't overly heavy to him... Just bulky. He put it down outside the house and wiped his brow, it'd been a long walk from Barton and Torvil knew the car worked, he'd heard the man turn it over before he bought it, and had only been barely able to avoid from jumping when it had. He popped his neck and headed inside. "Hey, I'm home with the car..."

Ala poked her head from the kitchen towel in hand "Car? ok..." she blinked not quite sure what he was up to

Surion was playing with his dragons and some other toys in his room

Torvil chuckled softly and moved over to Ala. He gave her a kiss and purred. "I'm getting over my fear of the blasted things finally... That, and it gives us another means of getting somewhere..." He chuckled softly. "Sides... It might be fun..." He murmured. He tapped his chin. "Where's Surion? I sense this could be a major father son bonding thing..."

Ala chuckled and returned his kiss "Playing in his room" she said tipping her head in that direction

Torvil smiled and nodded, and headed that way. He grinned and stuck his head in. "Hey Sur... Wanna help Daddy with something?" He asked.

Surion looked up from the toys he held "Otay!" he said dropping the toys on the floor and standing up hurrying towards his fathers side

Torvil chuckled. "Are we forgetting something?" He asked, pointing at the abandoned toys. "You gotta put those away first..."

Surion looked back at his toys and after a moment trudged over not wanting to clean up one by one he started tossing them back either in the box or the pile of stuffy dragons

Torvil smiled. "That's a good boy... Before we head out I'll get you a nice snack alright?" He was glad Surion was showing such good behavior.

"Otay" he said sounding like he didn't want to clean and soon he was done and looked up at his dad hoping he had done ok even though some of the toys had simply been shoved in the bin

Torvil chuckled, it was good enough for him, they were after all... off the floor. "Okay lets go Sur..." He offered his hand.

Surion ran across the floor and took his hand with a grin "Where we go dada?"

"To take apart and then put together a car... but first to the kitchen to get you a snack, as promised."

"What a car?" Surion asked walking along with his father

Torvil chuckled softly and walked into the kitchen. "It's a machine with four wheels that rolls around on the ground... Dad's scared of them..." He lifted Surion onto the counter and went about procuring a sweet roll.

Surion swung his legs watching his dad and mum. "Oh" he said

Ala chuckled she was putting away the dishes from their last meal

Torvil handed his son the sweet roll and gave Ala a kiss on the cheek.

Ala smiled softly happily

Surion ate the roll soon becoming quite sticky for the treat

Torvil chuckled at Surion but was still focused mainly on Ala, and was not in the process of giving her a nuzzle as his hand reached for something to clean Surion up with.

Ala purred softly "I think I'm going to call on Tinania in a few days" she murmured

Surion watched them giggling and clapping his sticky hands together

Torvil grinned and kissed her again. "That would be wonderful love..." He murmured, giving her nose a gentle lick before walking over to Surion with the slightly damp towel he'd wetted in the sink for Surion.

Surion looked up at him happily letting him clean him up "Dada lick mama" he giggled

Torvil chuckled and licked Surion's forehead. "That he did... It's a sign of affection... but you only do it to really special people okay?" He said softly.

Surion nodded "Otay" he said reaching up to be picked up

Torvil smiled and picked him up, carrying him towards the door. "We'll be back in a bit love..." Torvil called over his shoulder.

Ala nodded "Have fun love" she said getting back to work

Surion giggled and watched where they were going curious to see this 'car'

Torvil grinned and once they reached the black Corvair convertible he put Surion down and flipped open his book. "Okay, first things first we've got to jack her up and take off the wheels..."

Surion walked close to the car and was poking at the tired, the car sides. his interest attracted to the shiny door handles "shinnies" he said

Torvil chuckled. "Yes... Shinies..." He smirked and pulled out the car jack and jack stands he's bought, getting to work.

Surion followed him and looked at the jacks they were intriguing "What dat?"

Torvil smiled. "They're supposed to lift the car up. He started reading the directions and followed them to the letter, jumping back when the car start rising.

Surion sat on the grass watching curiously and looking under the car

Torvil chuckled and finished up then got some draining pans and placed them under the car, undoing some caps and sliding out from under it to start undoing bolts. "Surion, could you come hold this hub cap for me while I put the bolts in.

Surion nodded "Otay" he said holding the item his fatherhanded him

Torvil made sure he handed Surion the hubcap so the curve faced down, he started putting the nuts from the tire into it.

Surion was attracted to the bolts and picked one up to look at it as his father put them in

Torvil chuckles softly as he saw what Surion was doing. "Cool huh?" He asked as he moved onto the next wheel once he had pulled that one off.

"Ya dad, cool" he giggled looking to see what he was doing now

Torvil had laid the wheel down some ways away and was going back to the other wheel and repeating the process

Surion watched him curious his eyes kept drifting back to the bolts which were becoming more numerous

Torvil soon had all four wheels stacked, and the bolts set aside, he then went and checked the drip pans, finding them full and the car empty of fluids

Surion stuffed a few of the bolts in his pockets then followed after his father

Torvil set the pans aside and looked over the book. "Okay... Time to get rid of the body and just leave the frame... This'll be hard... so Surion I want to you be extra careful and do what I say the first time okay?" He crawled under the car. I need you to hand me that sivler tool right there..."

Surion looked around till he saw the tool and picked it up before returning and handing it to his dad

Torvil smiled. "Thanks..." and went to work on the bolts

Surion took some of the bolts and put them in the hubcaps, some of them found their way into his pockets quietly

Torvil didn't notice they were being nicked, and he just went about removing bolts until he was done. THen he slowly stood and started to slowly lift the still whole body from the frame.

Surion disappeared intot he house while his father lifted the body and was just returning as it was being put down

Torvil smiled at him. "Are you ready for the really hard part?" He asked his son, pointing at the beast of an engine.

Surion looked up at him and then to the engine "Dat car?" he asked

"Part of it... the part that makes it go..." He said moving over and taking out the easy stuff first.

Surion followed him and stood closer to the frame looking curiously at it

Torvil kept working until he had to toss the engine cover bolts to Surion

Surion giggled as the bolts clanked into another hubcap a couple of them winding up in his pockets again

Torvil still didn't notice them getting nicked and soon he had the car dismantled. He wiped his brow. "Okay... Now to put it back together again..."

"Sur gogo" he said and disappeared into the house he'd recently figured it all out and needed little to no help, especially if he only had to go to pee

Torvil chuckled. "Okay, I'll be waiting... kinda..." He said as he started to work backward, perplexed when he tired to re work the engine cover to find that a few of the bolts were missing... meh, who needed those anyway..."

Surion returned a few minutes later, he had indeed gone to the bathroom but he had also made a stop in his room depositing the bolts with the first pile of them he had hidden earlier and then went back outside

Torvil was working on repositioning the frame when he returned.

Surion came close and curiously watched his father's actions

Torvil had again slid under and swore. "Where do those bolts keep going to... no matter... don't need em... I think..."

"Whatcha doin dada" he asked laying on the grass near the side of the car and looked over at him and up at the undercarriage

Torvil chuckled. "Trying to reattach the frame, but I'm missing a few bolts... No matter. they're not important..."

"Sur sees" he said giggling and watching

Torvil chuckled and slid out, sitting up he moved over to the driver side and slid into the seat.

Surion sat up too and stood up walking closer tot he side of the car standing on his tippy toes and looking over the door to watch his father

Torvil slid the key in and turned it.... Nothing...

"Oooo" Surion didn't know the car was supposed to do something else "Dat neat"

Torvil chuckled softly and shook his head. "The car's not starting... maybe if I..." He got up and started to refill the fluids.

Surion stood back and walked over to watch his father refill the fluids

Torvil even gassed it up, and this time the car did make a noise... A Short whine before it literally leaked all the fluids out

Surion listened to the whine and backed away from the car, he didn't like the noise

Torvil swore and got out. "The hell..." He tossed open the lid... To be greeted by smoke...

Surion squeaked and ran inside he didn't like that, he didn't think 'cars' should do that only fires

Torvil grunted and kept about working on the car, having to finally take the entire car again, and start to make the parts that had broken and the missing Bolts... HE resigned that this project would now take days... cause he now had to go back to Barton to get a smiting tool.

Surion was in the bathroom with his mom, Ala had seen the mess he was especially his hands and had insisted he clean up if he was inside

Torvil came back in a few minutes later, starting to head for the bathroom, he needed to clean up a little before heading out.

Ala looked up at him when he came into the bathroom, she saw his mess and chuckle, she was just finishing up with Surion

Torvil grinned at her. "How about a hug?" He joked as he started to wash his hands and face of oil and grease.

"Not when you look like that" she said with a laugh putting Surion back onto the ground "Surion was bad enough" she said and then started to clean her arms

Torvil laughed and finished up quickly. "Well, If he wants he can come with me to Barton... I have to pick up some tools to make some parts that broke and replace the bolts we lost..."

"Either or I'm fine with it just ask your son" Ala said leaning on the counter

Torvil smiled. "You wanna come with Surion?" He said softly, then looked at Ala. "Offer is opened to you to... we could go out for dinner..."

"Sure why not" she said with a chuckle and a smile, they didn't go out all that often

Torvil smiled. "Well then... Let me get changed into some nicer clothes and we'll go..."

Ala nodded "Lets get you changed too little man" she said softly and took Surion's hand and they headed to get him changed

Torvil quickly changed and waiting in the living room for Ala and Surion

Surion hurried into the living room in a clean outfit

"Get his moccassins would you?" Ala called out as she went to change her top

Torvil smiled and called back. "Kay!" He said, grabbing the moccasins and motioning to Surion to come sit and get them on.

Surion ran over and climbed up onto the couch near his father "Shooooeeesss!"

Torvil chuckled. "Yes shoes..." He smiled and helped him get them on.

Surion giggled wiggling his toes as his father put them on him

Ala wandered into the room a few minutes later ready to go

Torvil smiled and got Surion's shoes on with little hassle, then set him down with a smile. "Okay, lets head on out... I'd say we'd take the car but it's erm... not... working at the moment.

Ala laughed "Somehow that doesn't entirely surprise me" she said as her wings slid from her back as she moved to pick Surion up

Torvil chuckled softly and stood, letting his wings slide free as well. "But I'll get it working, and finished the road..."

Ala nodded "Okies"

Surion giggled and wrapped his arms around his mom's neck. "We go fly!"

Torvil chuckled softly and nodded with a smile.

Ala smiled "Ok lets go" she said and headed for the front door her wings twitching wanting to be stretched wide but she didn't like to do that inside since she tended to knock things over if she did

Torvil smiled and followed her licking his lips... another time, another day maybe... He thought to himself as he walked with a slight grin.

Ala spread her wings and took off for Barton

And Torvil followed behind...

Oi... That's a big lession learned right there. Well, so far the car won't start period, the trip to Barton went fine and I was able to get what I needed. I'm working on making the replacements now, I've decided that without fail, I will make this car work... But... By that same token, I wouldn't mind an interuption or break in the work...

I do agree, they do seem to match perfectly, and he does bring laughter out of her.

Tinania find someone, she so wrapped up in her studies then being with her girlfriend I think she not looking right now, which is sad. She a beautiful lady.

*nods* she is a very attractive young lady I do very much agree, what is she studying?

Potions, Kira gave her a book on Drow magic, and you know her, she gotta learn it all. Then lately fairy magic...

Well she's a smart girl, she'll pick it up easily I'm sure

Surion doesn't know it yet.... but he's got a match-making Mama. It should be an intersting future for him, I think the two of them would make a nice couple. I'm sure Torvil will approve of it, he likes Tinania.

A Day At the Balan Shope

Ala sat in an armchair watching Surion explore the shop once again

"Hello, Ala..." he said softly, lowering his eyes.

Alatariel Rakamash

"Hey there Malcolm, what's up?" she asked with a smile

Surion turned and smiled seeing someone he'd seen a couple times and hurried over "Hihi!" he called up at Malcolm

NykolMisu

Malcolm smiled and ruffled Surion's hair. He looked at Ala, then back at the floor. "Um.. If I can't stay with Vina... Is it okay if I stay here at the shoppe for a while?..."

Alatariel Rakamash

"You know you are always welcome to stay here Malcolm, without asking" Ala said with a nod "And remember that under this roof, you are equal to any other unless your Mistress is here" she said standing up and heading towards him

Surion giggled and latched onto Malcolm's legs in a hug

"Thank you, Ala.." Malcolm said gratefully. He pet Surion's head lightly.

Ala smiled and stopped in front of he boy "You are welcome Malcolm" she said softly

Surion looked up at him "Sur up?"

Malcolm smiled and picked Surion up.

Surion grinned and poked Malcolm in the nose before noticing Malcolm's ears and reaching for one curiously

Malcolm laughed softly, tilting his head to let Surion get to his ears.

Surion took hold of the one he was reaching for "Soft 'alcolm" he said a grin spreading across his face again as he felt it

Ala laughed "Silly Surion" she said and moved to sit on a nearby chair

Malcolm smiled. He sat on one of the couches, holding Surion on his lap. He closed his eyes, purring lightly as his ear was touched.

Surion stood up his feet on one of Malcom's legs he decided he wanted to see both at once and reached for the second soft furry looking ear running hte fur through his fingers giggling " 'alcolm have ear diff Sur" he said

Malcolm made a soft gasp as both his ears were touched. He closed his eyes, purring even louder.

Surion looked at Malcolm and tipped his head to one side, he was making interesting noises, noises he sometimes heard his mom and dad make, but different in a way " 'alcolm ok?" he asked still holding the ears in his hands feeling the fur

"Yes," smiled Malcolm. His ears twitched slightly in the hands holding them.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion's eyes went quickly to the ears again when they moved, he giggled and wiggled one himself, he'd seen ears like this a couple times, but this was the first time he actually held one

Malcolm purred more and leaned his head into the hands playing with his ears.

This was interesting, Surion had never come across someone who LIKED him playing with their ears. But he wasn't about to argue. He grinned his pointy-toothed grin kept playing, wiggling feeling the fur and just generally being playfully curious

Malcolm giggled softly. "That tickles~"

Alatariel Rakamash

Those were the 'magic' play words and Surion purposefully wiggled his fingers on Malcolm's ears "tickytickyticky" he said giggling

Malcolm yelped softly and laughed more, trying to cover his ears. "Noo!"

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion's fingers were small enough to go under larger hands snd he giggled lots "tickyticky!"

NykolMisu

Malcolm squeaked and laughed even more, trying to keep himself still but also trying to move Surion's hands. "Ala HELP! He's attacking!"

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion giggled continuing to try and tickle Malcolm

Ala chuckled and got up "You sure you want saving Malcolm" she said stopping near them

"Yeeeeeeeessss!" Malcolm squealed, trying desperately to stop the onslaught of tickles.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala chuckled and took Surion by his waist and lifted him away "All right little man, time to stop" she said

Surion looked up at her and pouted "But Sur have fun!"

NykolMisu

Malcolm immediently flopped onto his side on the couch, covering his head, specifically his ears, with the throw pillows.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala chuckled "Silly Malcolm" she said heading back to her seat with Surion

NykolMisu

"Nyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah..." Malcolm rubbed the pillow over his ears to get rid of the tingling sensation.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala put Surion down "Leave Malcolm's ears alone now love" she told him

Surion pouted and nodded then went in search of a Balan he'd seen in the shop

NykolMisu

Malcolm stood up slowly. He smoothed out his hair, yawning. "I'm gonna go up to bed... Night Ala..." With that, he went up to the room he usually stayed in.

Raikha

Beleger bounded into the shop and slowed to a walk, sniffing the air and looking around.

Sedai galloped in after him, pouncing on Beleger. The two rolled around, and when their quick scrap ended, she shook and straightened, ruffling her feathery wings and flipping her tail as she too looked around the shop.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion spotted the two Balan and grinned from ear to ear "More!" he cried out turning to head in their direction

Raikha

Beleger, alarmed, back up a couple steps, his wings flaring up a little.

Sedai just stretched her neck out to sniff at him, cautious of this new arrival, but willing to make friends quick.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala watched her son head for them

Surion giggled and reached up towards the one who hadn't moved away from him as he got close to her

Raikha

Sedai pushed her muzzle under Surion's hand, nuzzling it.

Beleger, watching, stepped closer, his neck reaching out as well.

Raikha came in then through the door, her eyes on her Balan. Upon entering she paused, her neck high, looked around slowly, and nodded a silent greeting to Ala.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion giggled and pet them both then wrapped his arms around Sedai's neck giving her a big hug

Ala nodded a greeting "Hello Raikha" she greeted her

Raikha

Sedai purred a little and stepped closer to the child, closing her eyes.

Beleger stepped closer too, sitting close to Surion and sitting, patiently waiting.

Raikha nodded again curtly "Ala" she eyed her Balan again and smoothly moved to a chair at the nearest table.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala sighed softly and returned to relaxing, things had been terse between them for a long time Which had been a shame in Ala's eyes but there was nothing she could do about it.

Surion let go one arm turning his head to look at the other balan and reached over to pull Beleger closer to to him to hug them both one with each arm nuzzling his face into their fur

Andanielle

Moving to stand out of the way of the door, she shook a paw gently, taking care not to send droplets at either of the balans or any humans. H'lo. Lovely, innit? I love the rain, really... There was some tension in the air that she didn't like, and Kri was trying to see just how tense it was. She hated others to be in bad moods. Life was just too short to be unhappy for all of it.

Surion looked and saw yet another Balan "More!" he cried out happily letting go of the two adults and taking off for Kri

Andanielle

At the outburst, the balan briefly tensed at the unknown, then made herself relax. What this was, she wasn't certain, but she could guess it was a baby human. What an egg that must have been to hatch this one. As he made his way to her, Kri told herself to treat him like a baby balan unless... This was just a small human? She'd find out...

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion threw his arms around the balan giving her a big hug and nuzzled his face into her fur enjoying the feeling of the soft fur

Raikha

Beleger eyed Surion, then the other Balan, then Sedai. He half shrugged and sat again.

Sedai walked over, following Surion, her eyes shifting curiously to Kri.

Raikha watched Ala and sighed, looking out a window. Loneliness was making all things harder every day now..

Andanielle

Dipping her head slightly to return the nuzzle, she decided that this must be the two-legged's version of a baby, as he didn't have the vocabulary of a child balan... Though maybe they were different.
From her position it was hard too see things the way she was used to, but she spied the balan following the baby two-legged and smiled unseen. H'lo. I'm Kriani, or Kri. Know what this is? she asked in reference to the hugging baby, hoping the other knew.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion lifted his head looking at her "Balan talk to Sur head" he said with a giggle

Ala looked up and over at Raikha "You know, this is getting rediculas, we used to talk easily with each other all the time"

Andanielle

Balan called Kri, Sur head, she corrected with a giggle, pulling away enough to look at him. Or is it just Sur?

Alatariel Rakamash

"Sur head" he said pointing to his head "I Sur" he said letting go of her

Andanielle

Ah. Well, it's nice to meet you, Sur, head and all. As he pulled away, she took the chance to bring her tail 'round front, just so no one could sneak up on it from behind. Do you know who everyone else is? She thought she'd heard Ala, but she couldn't be certain. Kri didn't know the others anyway.

Raikha

Raikha sighed again and looked back at Ala "...Ala, when you're not around me, you're with Torvil, mostly, right?" she narrowed her eyes at her own thoughts as she spoke "These companions; meditating with Toga- even Talaris has her own business now.. this is it for me. Perhaps you don't understand, but Ala, I do not .. interact with many.. humans." she shook her head, more to herself than anything, and shifted her eyes to the floor.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala sighed and got up wandering towards Surion "whatever Rai, to each their own" she said sounding somewhat dejected "Come on Surion, it's bed time" she told him lifting him up

Surion waved at the blue Balan then the green and yellow one then the sandy-orange one "Bye bye"

Andanielle

Bye. The area free of little (possible) terrors, the speckled Balan relaxed visably, and smiled at the other two and the human she thought might belong to them. Hello... she tried once more, wondering if perhaps, like Bane, they were just grumpy too and not too keen on meeting new creatures.

Raikha

Raikha watches Ala "You get lonelieness, don't you?" She stood, upset now. "Perhaps you'd rather I just go.." she sighed and eyed her Balans on the floor sadly, reluctant to call them to leave.

Alatariel Rakamash

"I get it plenty well Rai" Ala said stopping in the back room door "But least I tried to solve it instead of isolating myself, I'm sorry things didn't go as you hoped all those many months ago, but it doesn't mean you need to hold it against me", her voice was soft

Raikha

Beleger and Sedai stare at each other blankly, both obviously blank minded as well.. brain farting..

Raikha looked up slowly at Ala "I am not holding it against you, Ala. Simply.. " she shrugged a shoulder "I don't know what to say anymore.. I feel I have ..just nothing to contribute; what am I to talk of? My ..forest adventures?" she sighed, knowing she was being as emotional as all the elders had hoped a young fire elder would be.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala shrugged "Why not? I don't mind hearing about someone's adventures" she said not sure if she should call Rai a friend or not, she certainly didn't know if they could be considered such or not anymore

Raikha

Raikha searched her face "well, they're really all I have.. just.. self training, I suppose.. -training for what, I don't know.. " she smirked a little, thinking it a bit silly.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala nodded holding Surion as he started to doze against her "Each person may have some kind of training or quest they need to complete for themselves" she said

Raikha

Raikha nodded, yawning "True." She half shrugged again "I train because it's.. heh.. well, what I was raised to do.."

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala nodded "You've been doing it since I've know you I remember when you came back to the Pae'il HQ with that ring" she said pointing to the ring Rai wore

Raikha

Raikha blinks and looks at the ring, not having paid it any attention for a long while "Wow.. this ring..."

Alatariel Rakamash

"You were very proud of that accomplishment... and I think you were right to feel that pride, from what you said it was quite an accomplishment" she said bouncing lightly in place

Raikha

Raikha nodded at the ring "hmmm" she yawned again and looked up at Ala "I wonder the time.. I am tired.."

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala looked into the backroom on the wall "Late, after Surion's bed time" which would explain why the child was fast asleep in her arms

Raikha

Raikha nodded, gazing at the child "perhaps we should sleep too?" she looked around on the floor, snuffing, not surprised, to see Beleger and Sedai fast asleep and curled up together by a couch chair.

Alatariel Rakamash

Ala nodded "There are guest rooms and barracks upstairs you are welcome to crash in Raikha" she said prepared to turn towards the back door again

Raikha

Raikha nodded "I'd be very grateful.." she glanced back at the Balan "I'd hate to leave them here alone." she stifled a yawn and looked around instinctively for any belongings she may have brought.. of which she had none. Nodding once again, curtly, to Ala, she eyed the stairs "Well, good night, Ala.. Um.. " she nodded, to herself more than anyone "...I like this.. talking to you again. ...I have missed it." she smiled a little smile and started heading towards the stairs.

Alatariel Rakamash

"As have I, feel free to grab food from the kitchen if you are hungry, I'm heading out to the house out back but we do leave some food in the shop kitchen" she said watching Rai disappear before heading towards and out the back door

Ala's Journal

Dear Diary

Ok that was fun, I think Surion really does enjoy Malcolm's presense, course it was probably 'dangerous' for Malcolm to have let Surion know his ears were ticklish. Surion's love for the Balan we help find homes for is fun to watch as well.

Seems Rai is still upset about the factor Torvil wound up with me instead of her. I think though that we made some headway in being in talking terms again... guess we'll see...

Babysitting: At the Lake with Nani

Ala dug into Surion's bag until she eventually found the silver and black phone, she pulled it out and fiddled around with it till she found where she had Tinania's phone number and then dialed it

Tinania looked over at her phone as she sat at the coffee palace with Tart and Celia. Tari had been explaining to Celia about dagger when the cell phone rang. She smiled when she saw who it was from. Picking it up she stepped out before pressing the talk button. "Hello?"

"Hello Tinania, it's Ala" she said smiling not to have received a voice mail answering thingy "Are you well?"

Tinania smiles "Yea I'm good, just hanging out with Tari and Celia at the Coffee Palace here in Barton. How are you?" she pulled at her crop pink sweater as a few guys walked place her then whistled a little.

"We're well, though we'd like some mom and dad time" she admitted "Hence my call actually, would like to arrange for you to baby-sit Surion if that's possible"

Tinania laughs then smiles "I'm free today if you want me to come pick him up. Tari, me, and Celia were about to head over to the diner to the lake."

"That sounds good, I'm sure he'd enjoy doing anything you might have planned" Ala said nodding though that was unlikely to be 'heard'

Tinania laughs "Yea it should be fun. I'll come pick him up right now? You at home?" she looked over as Tari and Celia walked out of the Coffee Palace.

"Yup, in the shop to be specific" Ala said "That's right in front of our house"

Tinania nods "Okay I'll be there in a sec then. I'll talk to you in a bit." she hangs the phone up smiling "Looks like were going to have some company. I'm babysitting Surion today."

Celia smiles then nods "Ah okay so you want to meet us there?" Tinania was about to answer before Tari shook her head "No way we'll go pick him up. come on lets take my car." Tari heads to her red jeep climbing into it.

Exchanging looks Nani and Celia shrugs before climbing in also. They take off heading the way Tinania instructed.

Ala hummed packing up Surion's bag "You are going to spend some time with Tinania lil man" she told Surion who was watching her

"Tinanana!!!" he squealed happily and took off for the front window to look out it and watch

Upon reaching the end of the road Tinania climbs out of the car. Grabbing her hover disc from her bag she turns to Celia and Tari. "Wait here, I'll be back with Surion." Tossing her hoverdisc near the ground she jumps onto it flying the rest of the way. When she see the house below she floats down towards it landing right near the door. Smiling she waves to Surion before knocking on the door.

"Tinanana!!" Surion cried disappearing from the window and racing for the door

"Surion wait, you need your shoes before you go" She said hurrying after him and catching him by the hand before pulling the door open

Tinania smiles then waves to Ala "Hello Ms. Ala, told ya I make it hear quick." she kneels down holding her arms out to Surion "Hey Surion..."

"Tinanana!!!" he cried out pulling against Ala's grip until she finally relented and let him go to run to Tinania while grabbing his little moccasins and bringing them over to where the two of them where

Tinania giggles wrapping her arms around the little boy. She holds him close as she stood. Kissing his nose she smiles "Hey Sur how are you sweetie?" she looks to Ala smiling "I hope you don't mind if I take him to the lake. I'll make sure he'll be safe.." she ran her hair though his hair playfully.

"Long as you keep him safe I'm fine with it" she said crouching down and slipping the shoes on Surion "And I'm sure he'll enjoy it, just beware, he's like me and loves water" she smiled

Tinania nods then cuddles Surion close "Hehe then we should be just fine." she winks to Ala before looking to Surion "You ready to go sweetie?" she glances back to Ala before taking everything she needs from her. "Just give me a call when your ready to have him come home okay?"

"Yay! Sur go with Tinania!" he said happily

Ala nodded handing Tinania Surion's bag holding changes of clothing among other thing, his blanket draped over it's top "Aye, and if you have problems you have my cell number"

Tinania nod then turning she steps back onto her hover disc. With one last wave she takes off away from the shop heading back towards the car.

Tari and Celia were waiting as they leaned against the car. Celia waves her hand as Tari looked up. Tinania nods as she steps off the hover disc once it reached the ground. Celia walked over looking at Surion "Aww he so cute Nani.." she waves to Surion "Hi I'm Celia little guy."

Tari smirks as she walked up "I bet he gonna be fun. Hey little guy I'm Tari.." she ruffles his hair as Tinania smiles "He will be I promise, he a sweet heart and fun to be around." Celia and Tari exchanged looks then smiles. Tinania arched a brow before they all climbed back into the car. Tinania held Surion close to her.

Surion stared at the red vehicle, he'd seen them before and had helped his father take one apart but not quite the same. He'd never ridden in one, he looked around curiously as Tinania sat down

Tinania looks at him and leaning down she kisses his cheek "Its like flying on the hover disc Surion." she places a seat beat over them both, not snug just to make sure she didn't hurt him.

Celia looked back and with a nod Tari turned the car back over driving down the road heading back toward Barton town.

Surion's eyes widened slightly at the sound of the car turning over, His father hadn't gotten that sound from the one they had put back together, in fact they hadn't gotten any sound and Surion still had a couple handfuls of small circles and funny things his mother had called bolts hidden in his room "Sur an Tinanana fly in red thing?" he asked looking up at her

Tinania smiles then shakes her head "No were not flying, were still on the ground sweetie."

The car drove into Barton town and came to a stop as they reached the Diner. Celia looked over at Surion and Tinania the wink. "Hey Tinania so you finally have a cutie." Tari laughed as she slipped out of the car walking into the Diner.

Tinania blushes then smirks "Yea can't say much about you though can we..." she laughs as Celia turns red. She looks down at Surion then just holds him close.

"Sur a cutie?" he asked turning around best he could on her lap and reaching up to poke her nose, he caught a glimpse of her ears sticking out of her hair "Tinanana have ear like Sur!" he grinned remembering the furry ticklish ears of his mom's friend

Tinania blushes pushing her hair away from her Elven ears. "Yes we do Sur. And yes your a cutie." she giggles as he pokes her nose then she looks up as Tari comes back holding a basket.

Celia smiles "Okay got lunch so lets hit the lake." Tari nods as she turns the car over again heading down the road out of Barton town.

Tinania looks down at Surion, she was in shock more then anything that he got her to blush. Smiling she runs a hand along his hair. She had gotten attached to the little guy and was glad.

Surion giggled reaching up and touching an ear on her head before touching his and turned around again "Same" he said with a giggle and then cuddled against her and watched out of the windows

Tinania shivers then shakes her head as Surion touched her ear. Like most elves her ears were sensitive. Celia giggles looking at Tinania who was now almost a crimson color.

Tari smiles before looking to Celia "Hey Celia stop it, that not fair to pick on Tinania." Tinania smiles mouthing Thank to her as they pulled up to the lake.

Surion glanced up at her and watched her curiously with a giggle "Tinanana has red face" he said stating the obvious

Tinania smiles and nods as she climbs out of the car "I know blame my friends for it..." she grabs her bag along with his.

Celia grabbed two bags before climbing out as well. Tari grabbed her own along with the basket. They all walked toward the lake. It was clear blue as far as they could see.

Celia didn't even wait for the other two girls as she set her stuff down. Then pulling her clothes off she ran toward the lake diving in. Tari set everything up before she to removed her clothes. Looking to Tinania she smiles "You coming in?"

Tinania nods "I will in a bit, go on.." Tari shrugged heading towards the lake. Sitting Surion on her white pants she smiles to him "You having fun?"

Surion looked at his animal skin tunic and trousers and decided they looked neat beside her white and pink clothing "Sur have fun with Tinanana" he said with a giggle and turned in her lap to face her

Tinania smiling then runs her hand though his hair lightly. She looked up as she heard the girls laughing in the water. Looking back to him she pokes his nose. "You wanna go swimming hun?"

Surion nodded not exactly sure what swimming was but he had a feeling it would be fun. "Otay" he said with a smile

Placing him onto the blanket that was layout. She pulls her top and pants off then laid them on the ground. Fixing her pink and white bathing suit she leaned down pulling Surion's tunic off him before laying it down also on the blanket.Picking him up she walks out towards the lake. She laughs seeing Tari and Celia splash around. Then looking to Surion she walks out into the water until she was waist deep in the water.

Surion giggled and leaned towards the water intending to put his face in the water and blow bubbles, water was one of his favorite things, and his mom kept telling him when the time came he'd have some control over it.

Tinania laughs as she shakes her head . Stepping deeper into the water she stop when the water reach just under her chest. She poked Surion giggling "Surion is like his mother..."

Surion kicked his feet in the water and splashed blowing bubbles "Like Mama!" he giggled happily he looked up at her after a moment "Tinanana like water?"

Tinania nods "Yes I love water..." she wrinkles her nose then splashes him a little.

Surion giggled closing his eyes and then started splashing a LOT getting anything in a 3 foot radius of him with water

Celia and Tari screamed in shock as they too got hit with the water. Tinania giggles holding Surion still close to her as she swam deeper out into the water.

Surion squealed happily and dunked his head into the water blowing bubbles up at the surface before surfacing again as Tinania swam

Tinania stopped swimming and floated in the water. Celia and Tari kept splashing each other as she floated there. Her wings sparkled thanks to the water that were running along them, her blond hair was around her as she held Surion.

The sparkling of her wings caught his eyes, then again anything shiny did "Sparklies" he whispered reaching for one of her wings with outstretched fingers

Tinania stopped moving her wings as she turned to float on her back. Placing Surion on her stomach she laughs "You really do like water..."

Celia and Tari raced back towards the shore, both were laughing as they open the picnic basket grabbing a sandwich each. Tinania just watched Surion as she floated there in the water.

Surion giggled and his fingers touched her wings "Shinnies" he repeated with a big smile, but he knew these shinnies were attached to Tinania and didn't try to grab as he normally would have. He looked to Nani "Water fun" he said

Tinania nods as she floated along in the water "Yes water is fun Surion..."

Surion pulled his hand back to himself and putting them on her tummy as he rested his head down on her watching the water and enjoying floating with her

Tinania smiles and running her hand though his hair she giggles "Hey sweetie you wanna go eat now?" her stomach made a rumbling sound and she could help but laugh.

Surion lifted his head "Tinanana growl?" he asked looking up at her "Eat.." he nodded with a grin

Tinania smiles then moving her hands she swim back towards the shore on her back. Laying there for a moment she smiles nodding to Surion "Okay go eat sweetie.."

Surion smiled and wandered back onto the beach and running for the blanket water spraying from his hair and trousers as she neared the other girls. he stopped a couple feet from the blanket and turned back towards Nani "Come Tinanana Come!"

Sitting up slowly she stands heading towards the Basket. Picking up Surion she sat down across from Tari. Both of the other girls had laid down there eyes closed.

Tinania laughs whispering to Surion "They made themselves tired from all the swimming..." Leaning over she look though the basket. Pulling out two sandwiches and held one out to Surion. It was a meat sandwich as her was a cheese sandwich.

Surion sniffed at it before biting into it and taking a mouthful, his hands were still somewhat wet as he reached and put his cool hand on the closest girl's leg "You sleep?" he asked once his mouth was empty before he took another bite

Tari was indeed sleeping, she didn't even move as Surion touched his leg. Tinania lifting her wand she waved it and slowly two blankets floated over and landed over Tari and Celia. Tinania took a bite of her sandwich then lean back watching Surion. She was quiet as she thought. She moved her wings a little just to dry them off.

Surion put the 1/2 eaten sandwich on the basket after a time not wanting any more just then "Sur thirsty" he said getting up and wandering to his bag starting to dig in it pulling things out at random trying to find his cup he'd seen his mom bring to his bag

Tinania leaned over and helping Surion out she pulled his cup out for him. Looking into the basket she smiles pulling out a bottle of Apple Juice.

Surion turned watching her and followed her back to the basket standing in front of her

Holding the bottle of Apple Juice she smiles "You want some Apple Juice sweetie?" she grabs a glass for herself pouring some into her glass before holding it back out to Surion again.

Surion took the cup and looked at it before trying it, it was a different flavor nothing like he'd ever had before, sweet yet tart... he liked it "Tankyou" he said and moving to sit on her lap again drinking from his cup

Tinania smiles then sips her drink, the light breeze picked up her bangs a little causing them to fly pass her face. She hummed slowly as she looked down at Surion then up at the sky.

Celia yawned then rolled over onto her side. Tari just continue to lay there.

Surion looked up at her he dropped his half drunk sippy cup onto the blanket before turning and kneeling facing her and looking at her ear a little closer, he poked the tip of her ear lightly "Sur saw furry ticky ears nother day" he told her ears and their differences had started to interest him

Tinania shivers little and giggles "That because everyone ears are different. See even though are ears are the same, there not. I have Elven ears..." she picks him up then touches his gem lightly on his forehead "Just like you have this gem. I have this marking. " she points her her tattoo.

Surion looked at her marking and leaning closer 'examining' it and touching it lightly with his finger "mark" he mused

Tinania smiles then pokes his nose as she hide her ears with hair once again. "What you like my mark?"

Surion looked from her mark to her, she wasn't far from him, he sat back "Mark neat" he said grinning a pointy toothed grin

Tinania smiles then yawns laying back against a nearby rock. She picks up a cover and places it over her body. Looking to Surion and smiles then hides from him.

Surion giggled loudly and reached taking hold of the cover and giving it a pull to uncover her "Peek!"

Tinania giggles as the cover is pulled away, She pokes Surion nose then wink "You found me."

Surion squealed and giggled pulling the cover over himself

Tinania laughs and looking around she smiles "Where did he go?" she looks around again then frowns "I can't find him..."

Surion giggled lots under the cover before pulling the cover off "PEEK!"

Tinania laughs and peeking him up she holds him close "Ah there you are Surion. You found me again." she kisses his cheek before closing her eyes.

Surion wrapped his arms around her neck hugging her "Sur found!" he said excitedly and giggling happily feeling her kiss on his cheek "Tinanana sleepy too?"

Tinania opens her eyes shaking her head "No not at all, just closed my eyes for a moment that all.." she runs her fingers though his hair humming softly.

Surion cuddled against her listening to her humming, he liked her humming it made him feel calm and relaxed

Tinania humming turned to singing softly. She was singing in Elven, something she hadn't done in a long time. She looked up watching the sky as she sung. Her hand continues to run though his hair soothing, she was so peaceful when Surion was around, it was strange to her. But she didn't seem to care at that moment.

Surion smiled happily "Tinanana sing pretty" he said not lifting his head from her shoulder

Tinania smiles then closing her eyes she continue to sing. Picking up her wand she waved it into the air. Slowly as she sung her Elven story came to life about a princess waiting in a tower for her prince, though slowly she started to give up hope.

Surion turned to watch staring at it with no sounds he sat in her lap leaning against her a single finger in his mouth
