But I'm not the type who pairs EVERY MALE CHARA CUZ OMG TEHR HAWTdesu. They have to have contact with each other, even if it's embarrassingly minuscule.

YES, I slash nonyaoi guys together. I'm even guilty of shipping a fave character around (I have like 10 fave pairs with Fuji Syuusuke in it). I like crack pairs too, and threesomes/moresomes because it's fun.
But first and foremost, there has to be some interaction between those characters, even if for only a split second. Can't slash them without knowing how they'd interact. In rare situations, like in crack pairs, I wouldn't mind if they didn't even know each other in canon. biggrin

I do, but not to everything. Some pairings I find...really awful. lol. I usually stick to pairings where at least one of them could possibly be gay or bi, not just randomly HEY LET'S GET GAY I'LL LEAVE MY WIFE AND KIDS DON'T WORRY

I do! But it depends on the characters, I only do if they have the right qualities. Like Sasori and Deidara from Naruto Shippuden for example. One guy who I will never put in a yapi pairing is Itachi Uchiha, because he doesn't seem the type.

I tend to go with the intended (or hinted) couples of the series, but once in a while I'll find myself slashing two different characters.
I don't think I do it too often though. Sometimes there isn't even a couple that I like.

For me absolutely YES. I love the pairing Zero and Kaname in Vampire Knight *cough* and definitely Allen X Tiki in D.Greyman.... heart

Oh heck yeah. My favorite yaoi couple is Itachi/Sasuke all the way. It was my first yaoi couple and I still love them together...
