Umbra rolled his eyes. "Yeah, well, I just like it here." She was one of the only people he wasn't bitter to, yet he hated her just the same. He stared at her face, perfect and smooth. He wanted to just reach out with one of his gauntleted hands, claw it off, and steal it for his own. "What are you doing here?"

Larrisa Talbot T00L ~Seth~ *raises one eyebrow intreged at how Laurel has grown in her magick abilities* She sensed my scrying, she has learned to use her abilities much better*The image is lost as Laurel disappears, trys to find her again but has no luck* ((Much of Laurel's magic is mind-affecting, plus she has enhanced sensory abilities. Her little disappearing act was just making use of a wrinkle in space-time* ((I see...))

He rolled his eyes, and then gave a scowl. "I don't know, why don't you go ask Xeen?" He swatted at one of the new plants that tried to take a bite out of him, causing it to whimper.

T00L Larrisa Talbot T00L ~Seth~ *raises one eyebrow intreged at how Laurel has grown in her magick abilities* She sensed my scrying, she has learned to use her abilities much better*The image is lost as Laurel disappears, trys to find her again but has no luck* ((Much of Laurel's magic is mind-affecting, plus she has enhanced sensory abilities. Her little disappearing act was just making use of a wrinkle in space-time* ((I see...)) ((Remember her profile? It mentions that Hell is non-Euclidean - more than 3 spatial dimensions. Makes it kinda hard to get around if you don't know the tricks. That's why demons and such can pull off things like teleporting when they come here, they can sense and use the warped points in space. That's what Laurel just did. She's been studying non-Euclidean geometry since before coming to Haven. One of her tutors, Professor Bolyoi, is one of the discoverers of non-Euclidean geometry. BTW - it's not a trick she can use in combat - it takes concentration, and she has to find a "wrinkled" spot.))

Umbra's head cocked to the side, and he slowly began to stand. "Well then, I guess that's just our little problem then..." He reached for his sword, but then jerked it way. I wish to squeeze the life from you too, but you don't see me doing so, do you? "I must leave before I do something I regret." He turned from her, walking towards the entrance to the garden.

Erica let him leave, she watched him go, and then looked back to the flower in her hand. She started ripping the petals off, and dropped the stem to the ground. She walked back into the manor, going up the stairs and heading to her room. Ora passed by her, walking away quickly, avoiding her eyes.
people are just fleeing from me today? She noticed Xeen by the window and smiled. "You look deep in thought, love. Thinking about war?"
