"He never said anything though..." Delilah said quietly. "Of course, if he was not conscious, he may not know. That is, if it happened at all."

"I believe it happened. How else to explain your friend's kidnapping, you rescuing him, and her now pregnant?"

"You don't know it's the same vampire," Delilah pointed out. "And even if it is, it's possible she could have had relations with any other male before this night."

"True... but the others would have died....if there were others."
No Ris was confused by Morgan. "Anyway....Can I make you anything Delilah?"

"Excuse me?" Delilah blinked not understanding the woman's question.

Again she blinked and almost blushed. Wrong wording it seemed. "Would you like anything? Like tea? juice?"

Fast forward about however long it takes to have babies. Meridian and the crew have gotten together again to simply hang out and go for a walk. They’ve all become friends and have mostly forgotten about that creepy time in the woods when Sangula attacked.

((Oh cool - it's a narrator!))
Delilah paused at the edge of the path, leaning down to take in the sweet scent of the wild flowers that grew there. It was a beautiful day, the sun was out and there was a gentle breeze. The pony was surprised to find that she was almost...happy. After the long stay in her solitary existence she was finding enjoyment in her time with her new companions. It was nice to have friends again.

Ah, what could be more relaxing? Dream Valley was just full of beauty and Meridian was more than happy to have made his home there. Ever since Delilah had saved him, he had felt a strong kinship with her and thought of her more as family than anything else. She had opened up too, in time, becoming much more social. The Carpathians were a strange bunch, but no stranger than the angels and other types of ponies he met. This world was full of all sorts of creatures.

"So," Delilah asked slipping one of the flowers behind her ear. "What are we doing today?"

“Enjoying the scenery? I don’t know. This is just wonderfully relaxing.” Meridian looked around and recognized the area. “Do you remember Sangula? I think we ran from her cave and ended up right around here somewhere.”

"I try not to," Delilah replied softly. Especially after her talk with Ris and Morgan, she couldn't bear to think of any harm coming to her friends... She shook her head, trying to clear it of the dark thoughts. "But this is a lovely area, we should have brought a picnic."

“Yeah, it wasn’t really worth remembering – not that I can anyway.” He shuddered and felt his stomach grumble. “We really should have brought food.” He cocked his head to one sides, think he heard a voice, or many voices actually. “Did you hear that or was it just me?”

Delilah closed her eyes and listened. "It sounds like...children?" she blinked. "Who would allow their children into these woods? Especially so close to dusk...it's dangerous."
