"Well children do ask a lot of questions about pretty much everything." Saki said as she rubbed his back lightly with her fingers, trying to make him feel better.
"Hey, mommy told me to play with you..is that okay?" Solemn asked as she caught up with Tressa, running out of breath.

Eric sat back up again and bit into his apple. "Oh well, no use worrying about it. The question is in their minds and they'll find out the answer soon enough." he said.
"Sure, playing with you'll be a lot more fun then playing by myself!" Tressa said with a smile as she put her empty glass on a table. Then she turned around and started walking towards the front door again. "So what do you want to play?" she asked Solemn.

"If anything, my uncles weird 'slave' will blab about it like he did to my dad when he overheard my mom and I talking about me being pregnant," She mummbled, laying her head down on the counter.
She thought for a moment, thinking of something that would be fun for the both of them,"Catch? Do you like to play catch?" Solemn asked as she opened the door for them.

Eric looked at her. "You mean you didn't tell him? Those types of things shouldn't be told down the grape vine. Anyways, what did your mother say when you told her?" he said.
"Sure!" Tressa said with a smile as she walked outside. "But we'll need a ball, or at least something we can throw."

"I was just about to tell him but Mannen had to open his mouth before I could even take a breath," Saki said lifting her head back up, looking at Eric. "Mom was happy."
"There should be a ball inside, want me to get it?"

Eric bit off the last piece of his apple and then stood up. He put his arms around Saki and kissed her. "I'm glad." he said, resting his forehead against hers.
Tressa nodded. "Sure, I'll go find a spot for us to play." she said. Then she ran off in search of a good place to throw a ball.

Solemn ran inside and went to go look around, walking up to her room and finding a big ball from Kenji. She made her way back outside and ran over to Tressa, "I found one! I found a ball!"
She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, returning the kiss. Wanting to tell her father how wrong he was, Eric would be there for her and their daughters. "I love you." Saki said as she softly blushed, never saying it before to anyone besides her mom when she would be tucked into bed.

"Great!" Tressa said smiling. "I found a nice open spot for us to play in." She grabbed her sister's hand and began to run back to the spot she had found.
"I love you too." Eric said. Removing Saki's arms from around his neck he took her hand and lead her out of the kitchen. "So," he said as they walked, "How are you enjoying motherhood?" He grinned at Saki.

"I love it, it's tiring at times but at the end of the day rewarding." She said lacing her fingers in with his, "How are you finding fatherhood?" Saki asked as she looked at him while walking, her tail flicking idly back and forth in happiness.
"Awesome! This should be the perfect spot!" She giggled as she tossed the ball up in the air, as high as she could toss it. "Woah! Its going as high as the clouds, look Tressa!" Solemn pointed at the ball as it dropped back down to the ground. "Aww, gravity sucks."

"Tiring and somewhat annoying." Eric said with a mave of his hand and a sigh. Then he glanced at Saki and smiled. "But I can't help liking it. I love our two girls."
Tressa looked up and watched the ball hit the ground with a loud THUD. She smirked. "I can get it higher than that!" she said, stooping down to pick up the ball.

"Our two are definatly something to be proud of, and no one can help but to love them." Her smile matched his as she finally realized how her mother felt as she watched her and her two siblings grow up. "Woah, they grow up so fast."
"Wanna bet? I bet uhhh," She thought and smirked, "the next cookie I get from grandma!"

"What should I bet then?" Tressa asked as she gently tossed the ball up again and again in her hand. Her tail swayed from side to side as she continued to smirk.
"That they do." Eric said. It seemed to him that only a short while ago his kids were crawling around as babies.

"Maybe, but dad has a harder time because thats when they're allowed to meet young men wanting to take them away from their fathers." Saki said with a small giggle, also finally getting a little motive behind her fathers actions and by what he said.
Solemn shook her sisters hand with a smile, waiting to see who had to give up what.
