kc walked to kenzies side and batted a hand away from her. "yoh moron you dont need to take anymore blood or your gonna bruse her vain. She's fine now put her in a room and ill watch over her ." Rafe turned and grawled at the dactorwho quickly ran away. Kc looked down at kenzie and grinned "see " she winked as rafe snarled at the other dacotr that had come to investigate why the other had ran off.

kc helped the nurses put kenzie in a room as rafe jumped up on the end of the bed to gaurd the girl

Nathan followed Kenzie, KC and the nurses into the room. Glancing around, he couldn't help but notice that it looked vaguely familiar. Maybe this was the same room where he had answered all those questions earlier... or maybe they all looked like this one.

He looked at Kenzie, who appeared to be unconscious. Not that he blamed her, of course. He noted the new cast on her leg and the IV on her arm. She ought to be Ok, he thought, once she gets some rest. I should try not to disturb her.

"Hey," he said quietly to KC, "I figured I wasn't much use there, so I went looking for internet access. I found it in case you wanted to send an e-mail or two." He paused for a moment, then motioned to Kenzie. "How's she doing?"

Nathan looked down at his cast, then over at KC's cast. "That's strange," he said. "You'd think they'd have more experience treating folks with broken bones who wash up on the shore."

Nathan scratched his head and pondered KC's question for a moment. "I don't think it's that deserted, actually," he said. "I mean, somebody had to build this school. And there's a paved road out back that has to go somewhere." He leaned back against the door frame and glanced out into the hall for a moment, then continued. "Anyway, I just walked into the library and nobody pitched a fit about it. And the place has to have contact with the outside world. I mean, all the supplies and medications in the clinic here had to come from somewhere, right? No, I don't think this place is hidden. I think it's just really obscure and nobody's ever heard of it."

Kenzie laid on the bed motionless. After a while her eyes finally fluttered open. "Where am I?" She muttered quietly.

Nathan shrugged noncommittally. "Got me," he said. "Then again, the server wouldn't let me get into yahoo mail, gmail or any of my other usual mail services. I had to send it through some weird service I had never heard of. Maybe it's some sort of network that's only on this island. There's probably a lot more going on here than we know about."

When Kenzie woke up, his attention shifted to her. "Hey, you're safe, don't worry. Just try and rest, ok?"

"hmmm" he said when he heard a loud hounting-screee from the outside. "And probably less violent than a falcon" He shook his head. "Maybe I would've changed if it hadn't been for she would tear me to pieces" he said, not serious at all.

Rukia laughed, "Well, you never know right?"
