Kent nodded, "Yeah... Stupid thing for me to say." He said, waling behind her. Well at least it wasn't a no... He thought to himself, cramming his hands into his pockets and walking beside her. He didn't feel happy, though it wasn't rejection. Maybe just frustration? What had he honestly expected to happen? Shaking such thoughts out of his head he continued to walk.

"No! I don't want you to beat yourself up about it. I guess, I'm just saying I need more time to get to know you." Lila smiles at Kent and looks back to where she can see his apartment approaching. Her gaze wonders to the open window of the kitchen and the little puffs of smoke fading away as they drift out into the night sky. She wiggles her nose a little to try and shake off the cold. "Aren't you freezing?" She asks as she squeezes his hand.

Kent shook his head. "Nope, not at all, I must just be that warmblooded." He answered, glad to be away from that topic. "If I had a coat on I'd give it to you... But at least the house is up ahead." He said, trying to remember what his mom was cookingthat night for dinner.

Lila wiggled her nose again and ran up ahead. As she reached the gate she jumped up on the ledge next to it and sat down. Beaming she looked back to Kent. She gasped under her breath. "Where is all this energy coming from?" Chuckling to herself she swung her legs happily and waited for Kent. Watching him with a warm smile and a soft gaze.

Bio: Ginger grew up in a one parent family, and that one parent happened to be her mom. She had spent all her life watching her mom fall in and out of love, and now just wants to fall in love, and stay in love with one guy. She fails at choosing just one, and has decided the next boy to show interest will be the one.
Personality: Hopeless romantic who has a tendency to get depressed, but also acts very goofy at times.

Kent smiled back, continuing his current pace. "I'm telling you, that leg is going to get injured again if you keep pulluing stunts." He said, finally arriving at the steps and sitting next to her. "So... What made you pick 'Liked you since seventh grade' first?" He asked, feeling that would be the last one someone would pick, or maybe that was just him.
