Ophelia ran outside to get the horse's and carridge when she saw something black slink out of the shadows and descend upon her. She tried to scream but it was caught in her throat and her vision went black she suddenly became aware of moving very fast before she completely passed out.

Kel'ac could instantly feel that something had happened to Ophelia. "Sean, wake up Noelle. We have to go, now." He didn't even bother to open the door normally. Rather, he just rammed into it and knocked it down. scanning the immediate area. He then saw a small cloud-like shadow turn around a corner. "damn it..." He thought to himself. "It's got Ophelia!" He yelled back to the house. "Get out of here while you can. I'm going after her." He quickly took off around the corner, catching the Sharen'arc in his eyes. He jumped into the air, with rainbow-like wings appearing on his back. He took off after it, hoping to catch it in time.

The shadow jumped onto the roof tops with the still passed out Ophelia in tow. It grinned at Kel'ac.

"Powers, don't fail me now..." Kel'ac thought to himself, as he stopped and closed his eyes. Moments later, he appeared right in front of the Sharen'arc. "You won't get her!" He held his hands out forward and sped forward, right at the beast. He caught it in the middle of it's body, sending it backwards. In the process, it dropped Ophelia. Kel'ac caught her, laying her on the ground. "If you're awake, be careful."

Darren regains conscience and looks around "how did I get out here" he feels a warm heat from his pocket reaches in a pulls out a seers necklace. "Hajis necklace is acting up again that cant be good" he puts it back in his pocket and grabs his sword strapping it to his back and looking for the others that he had seen before he passed out.

After setting Ophelia on the ground, he looked up at the Sharen'arc. "This one's different..." He thought to himself, as he prepared for it to attack. Instead, it seemed to be slightly scared of him.

The thing snarled but was heisitant to go near the man, but it had too. He had taken the girl from it. THe creature growled in a low, warning voice and took a few steps toward them.
"She must be sacrificed!" It's voice was thin, like whisps of air and as it spoke it pointed one long clawed finger at Ophelia, who was still out cold.

Kel'ac stared the Sharen'arc right in the face. Well, where it's face would be if it had one. "No Seer will fall to the likes of your kind." His eyes began to glow a darkened blue, and electricity began to flow up and down his arms.
