"I can't smell anything over this pollen." Kevin responded, shaking his head. He moved towards Randy, following him the few steps he took. "I am not sure I want to tell you."

Randy shrugged. "You dont have to rush things love, I dont mind, I can be patient and until you have found the urge to tell me I will wait." he moved closer to Kevin, tugging absently on a curl of his hair.

Kevin nodded. "I know, I'll speak to you of it when I find the time is right." He smiled and stepped back slowly, dislodging his hair from Randy's fingers. "Would you tell me more of yourself?"

"Like what?" Randal asked and found a bare patch of grass, he sat down on it, looking over at Kevin. "GIve me a question and I will strive to answer for you."

"Who else was in your family?" Kevin questioned, taking off his jacket and laying it on the ground next to Randy. He sat down and lie back, resting his head on Randy's knee.

Randy ruffled Kevins hair and than smoothed it back down. "There was my father, me and I had two brothers. My mother died when I was young, giveing birth to my sister. Unfortunitly my sister was stillborn so after that my father remarried a few weeks later, my mother had only been a trophy bride so there really was no lose for him." he said as he leaned his head back against the tree.

Kevin nodded. "Was it like that alot back then?" He questioned,, closing his eyes and taking comfort in Randy's soft touch. He relaxed more then normal, letting his usual worries drift away.

"Of course, I was in an arranged marriage as well, though I had yet to take my vows before I was changed, a small plus." he said. "My father married three more times if I remember, all died while giveing birth."

"Did you know her?" Kevin opened his eyes to look up into Randy's, trying rto see what emotions he felt towards this unknown girl.

"I met her once, I think. But otherwise no, another reason to rebel, I hated the idea." he said and continued to stroke Kevins hair. "She was pretty and rich, and thus would make the best of wives."

Kevin nodded. "When did you become...interested in the same sex?" He asked, a question he didn't expect the vampire to answer, but it was important, he wanted to know if Randy was just pretending, or if they just had a bond of friendship, and Randy was mistaking it.

Randys cheeks flushed and he tugged on his bangs. "I think I always knew it, oh certainly I was terrified when I was young, such things were condemed, unholy, thus the whores. I think I tried to change the way I was."

"Oh shut up." Randy said, as usual the words odd on his tongue. "You did not talk about your preferences." his cheeks burned even more with Kevins words. "Yes well anyway I have not really, uh, acted on my urges." he said, blushing deeply.
