Konnichiwa. That's all I know right now.
My name's Yuu(Japanese name), but my friends call me Zero. I've been trying to learn Japanese from Wikipedia, but it's not going well in terms of sentences.
I've been interested in Japan for a long time; not just because of anime and games, but the culture as well.

hi Im Abby360, you can call me Abby. I started learning Japanese, late in my life, Mostly due to my love of ethnic foods. One taste of sushi, and I was hooked. I worked in hotels with lots of Japanese Tourist, coming thru, years ago. I found that learning some Japanese, made my guests stay easier, and they felt more welcome. Over the years, I became very poplar with my Japanese friends, and even have been asked to be witness for two weddings in my hotel. Whereas, my language ability is very limited, I am proud to say, I can order, and complete my meals totally in Japanese. ( I told you I love food). I even talked my fish hating husband to try the food, and now he hooked on all the cooked non fish food. My children have been eating this way their whole life, and they speak more of the language than me, from listening in restaraunts. There was not much animie in Canada in those days, but my kids watch it and my youngest is learning much of her language, from singing Japanese songs. Well that is certainly enough about me, but I am so glad to be accepted by this guild so that I can continue to learn more about the country, I hope to visit ( some of my friends I met in the Hotel) with my family. oh yes, my Japanese name is Rizzu, given to me by my closest friend Nobi.

Konnichiwa minna-san! Watashi wa namae Sakura_Hanamoto desu! That's all I know. I got really into the culture when I learned that my school offers the langauage as a foreign language course, but my parents wouldn't let me take it. But I'm glad I found this place, its the next best things I suppose. Most of the Japanese I do know is from watching subs of anime, and from listening to JPop and JRock, though the songs haven't helped much.

Hello everyone! I'm night326 but my real name is Keiko, it means blessing in Japanese, for thoes who didn't know. I'm 15 and I'm going into 10th grade. I've always been interested in Japan and it's culture. I got introduced in manga and anime when I was in the 7th grade. My first anime was Gundam SEED and I was hooked. In April of this year, 2006, I started teaching myself Japanese...I already new a little from random animes, mangas, and Japanese music. I love JPop and JRock, that's all I have on my iPod...but I do have a few Green Day and Fall Out Boy songs but that's it for English songs. My favorite JPop artist is Nmai Tamaki (If you do not know how Nami is please go to my profile and watch the video I have posted) and many others but that's my favorite and my favorite JRock artist is HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR and T.M. Revolution. So that's about it....

Hey. I just go by my username. I'm boring that way. I'm about to start my third year of Japanese. I still suck though 'cause Japanese is hard! It's completely worth it though. I figured Japanese would be a good idea because I'm aiming to become a game designer as my career choice. I also just can't get enough of the Anime, Manga, or food. Umi Boshi is good stuff!

Hello, minna-san. Ki's here. Hajimemashite. Sorry for my late introduction.
Anyways, what's fascinating about Japanese is the way they served traditional tea, the Japanese Tea Ceremony..yesh. I'm weird. But it was so formal that I felt so warmed and relaxed when doing it. Ahem. Moving on. The anime/manga. I'm going to study Animation Multimedia soon, so watch for my name when I'm making anime in the future. Maybe about 10 years down the road? I love manga more though. Its much more elaborate. And graphically nice. Currently, I'm watching Ouran High Host Club, and reading Ouran High Host Club. ....Yesh. Both the anime and manga.
Well, I think that short introduction of me will be enough. I now will check through the interesting posts.

Hajimemashite. My name is Kansai_Angel, but i'm usually referred to as "Kei" or "Rez" (names and aliases I used during tuner meets and AnimeExpo's). I'm 18, male, and a nikkeijin (half Japanese) and although i speak it fluently, reading and writing Katakana is still a hurdle for me to overcome. I recently passed the Japan Language Proficiency Test at UCLA with a level 4 proficiency (1 is highest 4 is lowest. if you get to level 1 you can pretty much attend any univ. in japan.)
I'm mainly here to learn more tips on how to memorize Katakana and stop mixing up hiragana's "ha", "ma", and "ho". (sounds stupid but i'm seriously messed up on those three...)
so i guess i'll see you all around then. if you need help with basic phrases and such, i can help out with that.
(and if you need help on traveling tips to japan, hit me up. i go quite often).
Minnasan, Yoroshiku onegai shimasu.
