"Hello Maestro" Namine curtsied. " Im sure you are aware that everyone was enthralled with your music piece. I must say I found myself enthralled as well. I wanted to meet you in order to praise you for it and so here I am. Brava Maestro!" Namine took the moment to gaze at the man from her vantage point. Before she had seem him from afar but looking at him now she realized how attractive he was. His pale blue eyes looked into her emerald ones. There is something about this man, she thought. Has his music affected me that much? She found her eyes drawn to the fiery hair, her hands moved up as if to touch it but stopped short and she instead placed them near her collar. Namine waited for the maestro to acknowledge her praise as she smiled at him.

"Indeed," Alexander responded. "The other guests seemed to enjoy it, as well." He could feel her eyes upon him. His plan seemed to be successful and he decided to play along. "If you truly must, I will allow that you touch my hair." His face remained expressionless, attempting to keep the girl on her toes, and to seem as "hard to get", as the humans say. His confidence reassured him that this girl would practically melt when she touches his hair and he awaited her actions.

Namine laughed. "Ah so you noticed my interest. It's just an unusual coloring. Makes me wonder if it's real." She reached up to touch one of the strands. It felt soft and smooth. "Well maestro not only do you play beautiful music but you have beautiful hair." Namine took her hand back. Her red lacquered nails had almost blended with the color of his locks. "Thanks for giving in to my whim" she said her ruddy lips spreading in a smile. " I did not mean to take much of your time I only wanted to praise your talent. I shall leave you to entertain with whoever your companion is but I do hope you'll play for us some more."

despairs-life-loli ((o,ok.lol. at least she isn't killing us. sweatdrop )) Poinsettia nodded, "Alright...but I assure you I will be fine. You shouldn't have to go threw such trouble." he bowed, "I am sorry for being such a problem sir Raoul." his nervous voice and grief was pained, Poinsettia hated causing people grief and pain of any kind. (oy oy sorry 'bout that...just that little inconvenience called life)) Raoul nodded with relief at his companion's gesture of assent and took his hands, willing himself and, by association, Poinsettia to rise from the ground. They floated several feet into the air until he reached the balcony above and bidding the boy to wait, stepped down to the ground. Raoul kept his movements to a silent minimum as he slipped into the room, cautious just in case he wasn't alone and much to his surprise, his caution indeed paid off. Well what do we have here, a spent lover, awash in the afterglow of passion, he murmured under his breath, not bothering to keep his scorn and contempt hidden. Part of him wanted to take advantage of this opportunity and finish one half of the dangerous union but he decided against that; it was beneath him to kill a defenseless opponent, especially when there were better ways to fighting his two pronged war... A quick glance through the armoire confirmed his hunch and he withdrew a sturdy looking coat from within, pausing by the bed just long enough to pick up an item of clothing from the array. It would come handy later... The whole exercise barely lasted five seconds and he was back with Poinsettia, hurriedly returning them to solid ground with a satisfied smile. "I'm sorry I took so long, but an interesting trifle took my attention."

I shall leave you to entertain with whoever your companion is but I do hope you'll play for us some more." Alexander nodded. "It is quite obvious when someone is looking at my hair. They all have the same bewildered look upon their faces... and it is real." He nodded once more as she took her leave. "You took up no time and I have no companion, so do not fret. Enjoy your evening." He sat upon a nearby chair and surveyed the other guests.

Poinsettia's heart sped as the wind whipped his face slightly, he clung tightly to Raoul. 'He be not a mortal...' the cold numbed his arms a bit. When Raoul returned and put him on the ground he sighed, "That was a thrill!"

Namine smiled at his courtesy. She knew something about him was not right. Maybe it was his persona the fact that he was here but seemed not to care or be a part fo the festivities. She wondered if he were a creature of the night. Many were present here but they seemed to be behaving.
She was going to take her leave thinking that he had a companion to entertain. To her surprise he did not. Turning back to him she put her hands on her hip and grinned. "Maestro are you telling me that none of the beauties at this ball have approached you? Has no one caught your eye and piqued your curiosity? Look around you at the opulence and elegance. Look at the themes of those disguised around you. There is a game afoot dear sir and its a shame if you are here and do not partake in it."

Anabel Sinclair (oy oy sorry 'bout that...just that little inconvenience called life)) ((No need to flame, I have an incredible amount of spare time this semester and unfortunately, and most of my friends have dropped from school and left to another state. Leaving me only with my vast amount of free time to go into online activities. I have no other RP's that are active at the moment, and have little else to do, so pardon the boredom and impatience, I envy the fact that you have a life that actually requires attention. Honestly. sad ))

((I beg your indulgence for this last one. @ Tonas, honestly I wasn't flaming or anything; I was apologizing because, well what with the one liners and interruptions, the master plan should already have been underway. This is one of the times I'd wish to be in your shoes cos most of my other rp mods are sending me messages sweatdrop ))

That proved that she was one herself. He looked up at her from his seat and replied. "I have purposely made the choice to not draw too much attention to myself, thus no woman has approached me this night. Besides, I see no need in giving myself to some mystery woman... God knows what they might be crawling with these days."

Namine looked down at him. So it seemed he was a creature of the night. Namine heard his statement and she couldn't believe her ears. "How is it that you are here tonight? What are you in search of? Your statement leads me to believe that you have arrived here tonight but are not truly here to enjoy the festivities."
Namine took a seat near the man and leaned in close. To all outward appearances they would seem like lovers conversing with each other. "I do hope that you are not here to cause trouble. I myself am enjoying this night and the escape it offers. I have also met some wonderful people here who are under my protection. If you have come to do harm I suggest you change your mind." Namine's eyes flashed red for a moment. Being this close to him caused a desire to rise within her..a desire known only to her kind. She stepped back and exhaled calming herself down and retracting her fangs. She would not debase herself she was different.

A chill suddenly swept across the entire ballroom. Nothing harmful, but many guests were puzzled as to why the temperature had changed so strangely. Thankfully sheltered by the shadows, Alexander's eyes pierced into hers. They were... terror... in the most horrendous of manners. It was not the color of his eyes... nor a certain design within them. They simply projected unrelenting horror and rage.
Alexander stood. "Now you listen here... I was invited to this event and I arrived as asked. I did not come here to dance, I did not come here to chase women... I came here to be here." His eyes returned to their lovely blue. "How dare you accuse me of such underhanded actions. I am greatly insulted. You have a lot of nerve pointing fingers at people you do not even know."
With that, he made his way out of the corner. "I do hope you are pleased with yourself." He climbed the grand staircase and exited the building, ending on a balcony overlooking the scenery.
