I hate it when game data gets corrupted. stressed (Remembers past experiences). For reference purposes. . . I prefer the Atelier Annie version of Lise. The primary reason why Lise is in Atelier Annie, is because both games are part of a series within a series, even though the titles and locations are different. Alchemist of Salburg series: Atelier's Marie, Elie, Judie, Hermina and Culus, Anise. Alchemist of Gramnad series: Atelier's Judie, Viorate. Atelier Iris series: Eternal Mana, Azoth of Destiny, Grand Phantasm. Mana Khemia series: Alchemists of Al-Revis, Fall of Alchemy. Alchemist of Arland series: Atelier Rorona. Sprites and portraits of Judie show up from time to time in the Atelier Viorate graphics files, indicating cameos. However, the different series are still a part of the main series, so its not uncommon to see a character from the Salburg series cameo in Gramnad. Lilie appears in Atelier Judie, Eisel appears as a character in Atelier Viorate, and Hermina appears as a rival in Atelier Judie. O'ldor and Sera Island are near each other, and I think the same goes with Shutoraru, so it shouldn't be a surprise to see the main characters from the other games. Unfortunately, I still have to replace my computers sound card, so I can't hear anything off of YouTube without streaming it to my 360 first. crying

That's bad enough Palsa unless you live here in cheapass Phillipines where you can find quality hardware for cheapass prices... The Pinoys are so cheap every gamer I see has a modded console or uses emulators few are lucky to actually have the hardware......
The video is good with sound but it's so darn depressing...
As for Annie, yeah it's a bit step up for Lise.... But more painful to play...

I finished Atelier Annie with the "Royal Alchemist" ending. I believe the criteria for it is just to master all of the alchemy equipment (cauldron, furnace, egg, etc.).
My levels never went beyond 30 and I managed to get all of my facilities to level three. However, some of the quests tend to kill a LOT of time (in terms of creation and delivery) so I only "maxed" a few of the facilities' quality/reception points to 300.
Subsequent replays should be much easier though. A lot of your creations/items and all of your money gets carried over. However, Annie's stats and alchemy equipment levels are reset. I'm not too sure about "friendship levels" though.
The game's "translation" is pretty decent in comparison to past projects other than Disgaea (..in other words, I'm still terribly pained with the poor QA and translation of Ar tonelico II).
There was one distinct typo on one of the quests; I believe it's another creation request for the "hotel" facility where you have to make 3 "nectar tea." However, you never get the "nectar tea" recipe because it's named something else. The proper recipe does have the "nectar" in the name and fulfills the request. It bugged me for a bit because the game is strapped for "time."

I'd love to look at the inexpensive, yet quality hardware. 8D; I noticed that some Pinoy players tend to skimp on actual hardware and rely on mods, cheats, and the like. It's too bad though, but I can understand some of their reasoning as my PSP and DS.

You that's because the phillipine tax for entertainment is x10.... x10!!! it's ridiculous..... As for playing Annie, I'm still annoyed at it as there's so many events and quests and so little time... To little... that I think I want to hack the game and put a time freeze code cause it's aggravating me...

Plus, I'm not Filipino (though we have a lot of neighbors and friends who are). I don't particularly "know" some, but sometimes I see threads (on gamefaqs and other places) where the user inquires whether the game is already out "in" Philippines or not. The tax is terrible sounding ;;. It's no wonder there are many pirates who try to avoid the tax as much as possible. I'm tempted to use a time freeze code as well (when it's leaked on the internet somewhere). I wouldn't mind replaying.. but grinding is not always fun when so much time passes by.. especially for rare items. x__X;;..

You like double posting don't you Asashikka?
I see... I guess that's why... The tax is pretty ridiculous, but it has become part of the gaming system here in the Phils so gamers are split into several types, the lucky ones, those are gamers but unable to afford originals and emulationists.... I'm part of group 2 and 3. That's why don't be surprised how many pinoys have modded consoles and how many just go to local net cafes it all makes sense...
I'm looking for that freeze code.... Money making and item gathering is so ridiculous in Annie, days go too quickly to the point that it takes a whole month (in game time) just to find a particular item.... Though at least it's not like Etrian Odyssey when it comes to random encounters. I guess the only thing weighing down this game is the time factor.

Oh my.. that post didn't go through and even went as far as to creating a double post. I'll go fix that right now~
Ah, I see~ 8D; Well, I can't argue about what Filipino gamers do nowadays since I can easily fall into the category after being enlightened about it haha. Plus, modded consoles allow for playing region specific games LOL.
I used to buy original copies of my games but, I realized that I have a tendency to just play it once and shelf it. That's not quite good considering how much the overall value is so nowadays, I wait for the used prices to drop and purchase the game if I'm still interested. There are a few exceptions such as games with preorder bonuses so I measure the odds out and see if it's worth it or not.
I remember coming across a money code for Atelier Annie.. but it's usability wasn't fully assessed yet (perhaps it already is as I searched for it two days ago).

A time stopping code. . . there might be a GameShark or Action Replay code for that, but I haven't looked into code hackers for the DS as of yet. I'm not even sure if one exists. sweatdrop But just to let you know, it might effect the overall story and events if the time were altered.

I'm not too sure about the code effecting the storyline and events since it just "freezes" it. However, there is a larger possibility of freezing (probably through alchemy since it requires "time" to create the products) to some extent.. but it depends how the freezing of time overrides the overall system outside of the city.

I doubt it, I've seen the hex the only thing that would prolly happen is the game would prolly ignore the time freeze but since you're not moving by the day certain events won't take effect.... But it depends on the hex sub to make the code.... I'm not making one cause I'm busy documenting Lise...

Sorry about that, I hadn't played to gathering point when I posted last time, so I thought you were meaning overall time. It does go by fast doesn't it. eek While gathering, it seems like 1 day goes by within 2 or 3 seconds. Yeah, changing that shouldn't harm the games progress at all.

Yeah... unfortunately it's not fast, it's ridiculously fast, yeah I know the area is small but still it's too fast.... I have no idea what the developers were thinking when they did the time system.... or maybe they ended up being influenced by Lavos or Dio Brando or something....
