Alyana took the glass gratefully. "Well...that was convinent..." she said softly, noticing the announcement about cheerleading tryouts. "So if I'm weak...how will I get back to my room? I can't exactly walk..."
Amaya nodded slightly. "Yah, I am...It sucks...but, us orphans have to stick together, right? Friends?"

Can I give you a hug?! *gives Shanaynay a virtual hug and hopes she feels better* I know how you feel...and it sux...I mean...a couple days ago I got hit by a drunk driver during a driving lesson...okay, well, that was off-topic, but it was hilarious, and I wasn't hurt...the lady was being stupid and deciding that after she hit us, she was gonna accelerate in reverse...and at the last minute realized I was a student driver....I hope that makes you laugh!! ^^

Amaya smiled. "Yay! a new friend!" She said in a mock peppiness, which she knew already was not a quality she had. She just loved making fun of preppy people. She laughed and started to walk over to her guitar to put it away and unplug the amp.

Then her eyes drifted to the little postcard by the table that said all the days events and sighed. "Well this sucks..." she said sadly, "I guess we don't get to compete in the kareoake competition..." She then gave Jason a hopeful look. "Is there anymore coming soon?"
