A smile tugged at the corner of Syrith's mouth. "I like to think so, yes." He replied with an amused tone of voice. His head turned to Shatter, causing his eyes to narrow briefly before returning to a neutral expression.
I will serve this master because I must, he thought angerly towards the sorceror, but perhaps one day I will return the favor, old man.

"GWAH!" Ayla jumped, swatting at Cosmo like she would a fly. "Don't DO that!" She gasped and put one hand to her heaving chest. The little psycho had nearly startled her to death! "Warn me next time... or something..." She added weakly.

Ben stared at the demon inquisitively... He stood and brushed himself off. He looked at Momo who was now talking with an angel. He looked back to the demon, he seemed to have something on his mind, but Ben supposed it was nothing.
"So what's this all about," he questioned both Syrith and the older man. "I mean, if this is real, if this is really happening...why?"

Cosmo was surprised at her reaction, and when she swatted at him he jumped up and did a couple of back flips. He hovered in front of her and apologized. "I'm sorry, Cosmo gets excited very easily! But Cosmo will make it up to you! I will do anything you ask me to!" He bowed, "Your wish is my command!"

Usha picked Marek up and jumped into the air. "There isn't much room in here, so we'll go outside." She flew out of the room, out the door, and outside into the cool night air. She soared up into the sky high above the orphanage with Marek in her arms. She smiled as she flew higher, she loved flying at night. It was dark, but she could see as if it were day time. "So, what do you think?"

Momo heard Ben's question, and she looked up at the man who had given them their crystals. She too was curious. What was the purpose of all this she wondered. She looked around at the other creatures in the room. Some of the other kids had not picked theirs yet, and one boy had just flown out of the room on a demon! Momo couldn't believe all this was happening. 'But why?' She waited for an answer from the magician.
((I'm tired!! Enough posting for now, I might be on later...but if not, GOODNIGHT! biggrin ))

((Holy cow! You guys got far! Sorry, this is a packed week for me (which is almost over, at either Friday or Saturday). So, what ones are left?))
Kiyoko stared wide-eyed and silent as she watched what happened to the other children. After being brought back by Ben and momo, she saw all the pretty little crystal figures in the box. "Wow, how pwetty!" she had said aloud in her innocent voice. They shined brightly.
She watched as the figures came alive, leaving marks in the others' hands, and how fairy-tale like creatures were now coming out and talking to them. It was wonderful, and she giggled in her childish delight. However, she didn't know if she was supposed to choose one or not. After all, most found her a bit clutszy, and probably bring up the "you're too little." point.
She gave a grateful look to Momo, then thought for a moment on the new subject. "Well, I was getting some pizza, and sat it down. When I went to pick him back up, he was gone." she answered.

Star had been dragged into the room by the two children and had watched the happenings. his is very weird Star thought. Though, she felt herself drawn from the wall over to the box, and she picked up one that looked like an angel, yet darker. Kinda like a fallen angel. Star dropped the figurine when her hand started to burn When she looked at it, Star had a sign on her palm. She remembered the man's instructions, and did what he said. "Awaken!" Star said, awaiting her meeting with her new creature.

Shatter couldn't help but smile with pride as he watched his creations come to life once more. Syrith wasn't happy with him though. And the sorcerer couldn't help but feel of pang of guilt in his chest. If only he understood...
"Don't worry. You'll get your chance," he sighed, speaking to the demon's mind before turning back to the children.
"Well, my creations have been trapped in their crystals so long, I figured they should have a chance to have new masters," he explained simply, "There are...other reasons, but I don't feel like mentioning them yet..." he muttered, absently reaching into his pocket. He retrieved his hand to find a small cut, and sighed.

((ack, i went off over-night and 7 new pages sprung up! ah well, i guess i can adapt.))
Rayne watched the other picking up their crystals and gaining the marks and the crystalks coming to life. looking at the array, she saw one that looked like a dragon, scaly and sleek.. she looked at her right hand, then gingerly picked it up. it burned her hand, but she opened her palm, and saw the mark. "Awaken!" she intoned, and waited for him to appear.
Aqualos waited for her crystal to be picked. she had been trapped here for too long, and wanted a new master, preferably one that wouldn't make her burn people if they didn't obey him. she waited to be picked up, and freed...

With a flicker of light, the crystal Ronin had been trapped in broke open. He shot out spreading out his wings and giving them a shake, sending feathers flying. First thing he did was scratch his nose. Ah..yes finally! he sighed. Then Ronin looked around to find who had released him. Spying a dark haired girl standing in front of him, he smirked. He decided to put on a little show.
Ronin turned invisible and used his pyrokinesis to make a ball of fire in his palm. The only thing that would be visible to the others would be the flame. Then he set his whole body aflame. Finally he teleported to the other side of the room, leaving a body of smoke behind.
"Man, does it feel good to finally be out of there!" He stared at his new master deviously. "I'm Ronin. And you're my new master...congratulations...." he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Well, lets see. Other than flying and being invisible, I can teleport myself and others, I have night vision, I'm pretty good at causing fear in others, "She chuckled, "And I can start fires."
