Kenji looked over her seeing how she had quickly switched the topic back to breakfast, his iris's narrowed but fled back to hide the distance in his mind. Her sudden enthusiasm wasn't a problem to him, maybe she had found a new taste due to the meal from the other day...? He smirked and followed after her until stopping at the cliff's edge; Scanning the flourished land, he glanced back to her and then back at a dark spot. "How about we hunt there..? Many animals would try to hide, so we could catch are selves a tasty treat." he chuckled softly, but there was more devious intent in their than could be made out.

"I'm not much of a hunter.. I can't see where my prey would be.." she added hesitantly. It was one of the reasons why she hadnt tasted meat in so long, she couldn't catch it. "But I'll try.." she said in a more chipper tone. Looking back at Kenji she smiled and opened her wings, getting reading to make the leap. "Lead the way!"

Kenji smirked at her enthusiasm. The fact that she was going to try even with out sight and how she had got so far already. I guess it became a natural thing after a while, but hunting was practically easy if you lingered on it for so long, hearing played a big part in it. "Sure thing." He stated, out stretching his wings as he leaped off the edge, gliding towards the darker part of the land.

Oracle smiled, thankful that he didn't baby her like most others did, or tried to do. He always offered instead of doing, and it meant alot to her that he had that much consideration. Heading to the edge she watched Kenji's blur fade off into the darkness of the trees before she leaped off the edge and followed. Her flying had never been the best, but with a few scraps and twigs here and there she always made it work.

Kenji's paws gave a large 'thud' as they landed, his tail swung by his side before glancing over at the object following afterwards. He had this place trial, but it was a trial in her case. He hadn't planned it but if she was to stay she had to get used to being in dark places; Believing in her was one option, trusting her was another... but understanding, was one thing he was able to learn. Kenji's eyes slid to watch her lower towards the ground as a small smirk spread across his face in knowing, trotting along slowly so she could catch up.

Oracle made decended from the skies, but being underneath the shade of the trees made it a bit difficult to comprehend where she was landing. Though for once she landed in the comfort of a bush. Her wings were still sprawled out as she laid in the bush for a moment, laying on her back. Snickering slightly at herself she rolled off, and landed on her feet. "Well that was definitely new..." she said in an amused tone. Her ears perked up at the sound of what she believed to be Kenji steps proceeding away from her and quickly followed suit.

Hearing the rustling of bushes he quickly looked back to see what had happened only to quietly snicker at the attempt to land as it was slightly humorous. "It was definitely a sight.." he mumbled under his breathe seeing the random twig still stuck in the bangs of her hair. He trotted on and came to a very swift halt, holding his tail in the way of her steps. "Shh... over there... Listen carefully" He suggested, his ears perked up and his pupils becoming slits; more rustling sounded, soon growing louder and louder until finally, it was only a bush away.

Oracles steps grew softer, and more predatory at his words. Lowering herself to the ground she listened to the rustling, and the soft noises that came from it. She followed behind kenji wanting him to show her 'how it was done' so she stalked her way to the bush and froze, her ears at alert. It seemed bigger than she had expected, would mean a bigger target, but a harder take down. She turned her head to meet Kenji's gaze, she wasn't sure what to do about this, if it was just her, she'd pounce into the bushes hoping that she got the little critter.

Kenji saw her features lower from the corner of his eye, his claws scrapped the barren dirt beneath his paws, his iris's narrowed to the bush as the rustling halted. A few slow minuets passed and the creature seemed to have froze, he wondered what it was and that she'd be ready if it came towards her. Before long he took from his feet with a low growl humming from within his throat as the small creature slipped into the cramped space and fled from under the large male in panic fits. His lips casted a daunting smirk with a soft, low voice he spoke. "Oracle, nows your chance."

Oracle heard the small skittered around the ground infront of her, and its little squeaks of terror as it ran from Kenji. "Okay!" She growled low in her throat as she let her claws out to scrap the dirt beneath them. In a split moment when she thought she had pinpointed the creatures movements, she leapt at it, digging her razor sharp claws into the object she held within her grasp.

Kenji watched her agile figure motion towards the air, the blood from the creature where her claws had pierced spread across her long sharp claws. He smirked in amusement at her ability to use her independence and hearing better than expected. "well done..." His draconian voice came, low and crisp. It was rare he gave praise but he was impressed how far she had come with her heightened senses in just a few days since there meeting. "Now to finish it off" he stated cruelly, turning his back and letting his wings lay low, casting a final glance over his shoulder to watch the small thing bleed its last breathes.

Oracle held onto the creature tightly with claws and gripped its neck between her teeth. It struggled hard and fought to escape, bucking and kicking, so she sank her fangs in deeper until they hit bone. The animals blood rushed over mouth as she closed her eyes trying not to think about it, and then it seemed the creature had gone into shock and stop struggling, only twitched. Moments later, it was done completely frozen in her grasp. Her first kill. She couldn't bring herself detach from it, not because she was excited about it, she was frightened.
She stayed there a couple minutes just clutching it, afraid that if she let go of it, she'd loose herself. When she calmed down she let go of it and straightened. Her chin drip and paws dripped with the blood of the animal that laid before them and the smell of the fresh death filled her nostrils. She took a deep breath and headed over to kenji, lightly nuzzling his fur with her cheek.

Kenji watched her emotions flee through her, seeing her expression change and her resists to let go. His eyes lowered in wonder of what to think of the whole, making her kill her own food, but everyone hunted, it was the key to survive. As she made her way slowly towards him, his eyes never leaving her down-strung figure his smirk became a small elapsed smile. The comfort from her nuzzle would of once been a mere way of communicating but over the time he had met her, this strange feeling of changing had run through, thick and thorough.
He leaned his head down to her level and gently licked the dripping liquid from her muzzle and then he moved along her fur until she was decently cleaned, not perfect but decent. "That was your first kill... Correct?" He asked, looking back at the still animal. "You did good... Against your will" He smiled, closing his eyes to take in the tension the atmosphere held in its grasp.

Oracle expression soften a bit as she was comforted by kenji. She nodded to his question and sat by his side, just needing a moment before she ate. "Yes, it was my first." She smiled at his praise and licked his neck lightly in kind. "Thank you. And it wasn't against my will... I just have to get used to it." she sighed deeply, contently. Somewhere in the time she'd spent together with him, she'd learned to understand and care for him. I guess time really does change Sitara's...

"If you say so..." He nodded as he turned and slowly padded over to the small bunny. He picked the lifeless animal up in his jaws before placing it down in front of her, after he sat by her side taking it in one paw and ripping it in half with his strong razor like teeth. "Your welcome... I suppose." he added answering her first set of words as he nuzzled her in return for her lick. She showed to be growing accustomed to the way he was, and the attitude he had against thing and others, it wasn't difficult, it was just weird to be around someone other than his sister for so long. even though he'd never admit it he did like the company and the effect it was having...
Slowly he teared a long strip of meat off, and chewed it, savoring the taste. "You sure your okay?"
