She led him to the lake behind the mansion and true enough a row boat fit for two was waiting at it's harbor.

Arc strode along until he came upon the rowboat. He held out his hand in a gentlemanly gesture.

Arc stepped in after her with minimal rocking from the boat. He seated himself on a bench opposite of her and took both oars in his hands and, with a pull of effort, they were off.

Arc kept rowing at a steady pace, and soon the harbor could not be seen.

Arc stopped rowing and let the boat drift along on it's own.
He sighed heavily and leaned his head back to look at the sky.
