((Back >.<))

Amaya glanced at the boy without much regard, "Make sure you are here on time, or there will be punishment," she spoke in the calm even tone as she paced the front of the classroom with her hands held behind her back, her boots making a soft thumping sound as she walked.

"For today's lesson we will go over the basics making sure you all meet my expectations. If you don't I expect you to remain here until your skill level is exceptable. Earth magic requires perfection, one wrong move could send the spell into chaos"

Amaya stopped and held her hand out to the side, summoning the powers of earth, she began to grow a tree from the dead hardwood floor. The tree continued to grow then bloom.

((ok..I will just add a fast forwards bit))

...FF...

Amaya glanced over at the clock and sighed rubbing her temples gently, "That is enough for today, you all have done well...I will right a report about what you can improve on and give them to you privately. If you wish to share and get help from other students you may, but that is your business. Those who wish to have help from me, see me at lunch."

Dismissing her class, Amaya stood from behind her desk where she was watching the students taking notes on how each student performed on each of the tasks she gave them. Few showed promise and would go far with their element, others would get by with what they learned.

((-Ahead of the game....woot.-))

Mr. Gregorovich continued to read his novel, then checking his clock. Strange....it was the same time that he had sent Ayla out. He stood up and dragged his IV bag with him, going over to the clock and sliding it off of the wall, examining it. The clock had stopped.

He swore a little as he realized that he had let Ayla out a little early, but shrugged. He didn't have any other students at the moment. It would be alright, he supposed. It couldn't happen again, however. He resolved immediately to bring a clock of his own from his room here at the school, and he could set it up in the classroom and use that to judge the time, so that he would always be on time and doing well.

He calmly set the clock down on his desk, making a note and placing it on the clock, basically saying that the clock was broken and needed to be fixed. He then set the clock in the hallway, just outside of his door, before calmly going back in and re-hanging his IV bag, picking up his novel again. Lunch would be a little longer for him today, he supposed.

Amaya walked out of her classroom, the clicking of the doors lock, was heard as she left. Slipping through the shadows, to avoid students staring at her, she slipped into the kitchen. The works glanced at her as seeing someone was strange.
Shrugging she muttered to them that she was just here to pick up a slab of raw meat, which earned her curious looks. The nearest worker wrapped a large cut of raw beef in white wax paper and handed it to her. With a slight bow as she took the meat, she left the kitchen.

"Arde-l-ar focul," Amaya cursed in Romanian as she hurried along.

Seth muttered something about having to go meet someone and walked off, leaving Kieran and Ayla alone. They started walking towards a large oak tree, on the outskirts of the field. They could still hear the bell when it rang.

"Okay... Mr Gregorovich let me out early. That's unusual," Ayla said.

"So.......... What did you want to talk to me about?" Kieran asked.

"Well, it's just I'd like to know exactly where you got those crystals," she replied nervously.

Kieran chuckled. "Those crystals I gave you? I found them." he said.

Ayla said nothing, pulling a sandwich out of her bag. She slowly ate it, watching Kieran closely. Once she had finished, she said, "I have classes tonight at 7pm, followed by extra lessons at 11:30pm. I don't have morning lessons anymore."

Kieran shrugged. "Well, that means we won't be seeing much of each other anymore then, since I can't be bothered going to lessons and you'll be sleeping in most mornings. I guess thats it between us," he said.

Ayla stood there open mouthed. "I won't be sleeping in that late, 8am usually no matter what time I go sleep," she said.

Kieran shrugged again. "No matter. I like you Ayla. I really do. But..." he trailed off.

Ayla gently put her arm round him. "Doesn't mean you have to end it though, Kieran. I like you too," she said as she looked up at him.

"Lets go get something to eat before elective classes start," she said, taking his hand.

Mr. Gregorovich remained in his room, idly reading his novel and letting the IV drip its fluids into his system, when he noticed two things. One was that the IV bag was empty. He had gotten the nutrients that he needed. The other thing he noticed was a sound he usually didn't hear during lunch. It was the sound of papers falling to the floor.

He mentally sighed and then closed the book, turning as he slid the IV tube out of his arm, sliding his sleeve back into place as he walked to the door, seeing some papers that had slid under the door. He picked them up and sorted them out, then opening his door and seeing a young woman standing there and picking them up. He took a quick look at the papers and then back at her. Evidently this was the new Chemistry teacher. He shrugged and then spoke softly.

"Hello, Miss Cross. I do believe these are yours."

H
e was able to speak her name easily since he had memorized the teacher list for the entire year. He was better at speaking with people when he knew their names. Speaking with total strangers was an alien concept to him. He then calmly stood back and watched her for a few moments.

"So, are you headed to go eat? I warn you, the food's quite nasty. I wouldn't, if I were you. School cooks can only do so much, even in private boarding schools such as this one."
