Another man arrived at the party. He was wearing a button down shirt, slacks, and the basic mask that was given to him at his arrival.

Burning Disaster Verve smiled beneath the mask. "Well I was thinking of getting you out of here, and to a healer." ((I'll be honest. Even with all the people going as other characters, I didn't see that one coming any more than I saw who the real Queen of Hearts was... Although I didn't think it was Ruby after I saw the goddess interacting. Thought it might be Ora.))

Eulalia Danae ArynChris Ripping off her mask and lifting her skirts to reveal a fine boned face and soft black boots, her fight partner put cupped hands under the Baroness's foot and launched her straight up. As the Baroness launched into the sky a vine stretched out and snatched her back down, Placing her back into the maze. The hedge rustled next to the pair as a miniature jester peeked out from behind the greenery. Aaron looked at the both of them, quietly. "Oumph! Thanks ever so for breaking my fall, Cloud..." The dryness in her voice could have parched a tree. "Of course. 'Always be prepared for the consequences,' right?"
"Don't throw my words back at me." Brushing herself off, the unmasked Baroness found a huge tear in her dress... "Where's that mask I was wearing?"
The two searched the darkened earth and nearby shrubbery side-by-side, but couldn't find it. "...What's up, A.C.? Something weird about these masks I should know about?" he asked her gravely, touching a hand to his own. The only answer she gave was to rip off the part of her dress that was tearing and let it fall from her hand, where it faded into ghostly nothingness before it could touch the ground.
They shared a grim moment. "Guess I'll keep the mask on, then. Planning to lose the dress yet?" "Just because the mazemaster knows we know about its traps doesn't mean he knows anything about us. Let's keep it that way and hope no one understands what the vanishing means... We have a guest." "No. We are guests, my friend."
As one, they turned to Aaron's place in the bushes. Yet they made no move.

Das Steube Ayx surveyed the site once more, looking at the Queen. The moth broach was a sign of her... He also so a glance of another one, which meant that Ora was here. Ayx descended into the crowd, looking for her. The 3 Musketeers Bar bumped into the Flaming Shade.

Eulalia Danae Acelr Eulalia Danae Acelr The Knave continued walking on hands instead of feet all the way up to the apparent Queen of Clubs. Looking up at her angry face for that position, the Knave winked through the darkness. "May I serve my Queen?" "With a cup of gal down your throat, indeed." The Queen of Clubs voice fell like dark sand from her mouth. "Don't mistake me for my sister, she may be inclined to chop off your head, but I'd prefer to see your crushed body torn into four quarters and spread across the ground like butter on toast." The Knave chuckled even more darkly, this time with a glint in one eye. "The best queen to serve is the one you won't betray... and if you're going to betray her, at least you'll have a fun death, no?" The Knave bent at the elbows and did a backwards half flip to stand normally, then went down to one knee before her in a cocky mockery of submission and featly. "I'm serious, Queen. Queen of Clubs, served by the Knave of the same suit. Give it a chance, eh? You never know how much vicious fun you can have until you try." "And how do you offer to serve?" The queen of Clubs asked, honestly curious now. "Is the best of ways..." The Knave's voice was a hoarse whisper. "...Is there anything," the Knave continued in an even smaller whisper, barely a croak and inaudible to anyone farther away than the Queen of Clubs, "you are not permitted to destroy? Any one? I will give you a show to delight, and do it with absolute impunity."

Mackie the Knife The Cheshire Cat climbed a tree and sat on a branch. The purple has-been superheroine climbed up after him and sat next to him on the branch. She grinned widely, and only the smallness of her mouth and greenness of her eyes kept her from looking even more like the Chesire Cat than he...

Burning Disaster Another man arrived at the party. He was wearing a button down shirt, slacks, and the basic mask that was given to him at his arrival. *cough* This man, no doubt, actually arrived some time ago and was only just now noticed, since no one has been able to enter or leave the party for some time now.Raggedy Ann played a game of Freeze Tag with Raggedy Andy for a couple minutes, then ran smack into the barrier herself when she tried to take the game out of the park. She sat down and cried a little, rubbing her nose.
"Ann?" The woman in gray inquired.
"I think I hit a 'visible super," she whined. "I ran right into 'im, too. My face hurts."
The woman in the toucan mask just patted the girl's head. "Well, he's gone now, right? Keep playing your games with Andy over there, you'll be fine in a minute."

Laurel Talbot Already being aware of those on the other side of the hedge, Batman had no need to look, instead spreading out a pair of glider wings and taking to the air - staying about 4 feet from the ground at present. The hedge, as it sensed he was not attempting to escape, allowed Batman to glide.

Burning Disaster "Out of the maze and out of the party? That could be arranged." He took her hand. "Where would you like to go?" Before Sahira could say a thing the Hedge snapped out, a vine shooting around her and one moving around Verve, seperating the two. The Vine with Sahira swallowed her up into the Hedge, as if to say "no Verve, no stealing the guests." The vine attacking Verve, was more spikey than the other, intent on injuring to some degree.

The Queen of Clubs chuckled. "If a few of the guests were to meet a tragic accident, I would be very pleased. The Goddess for one, or perhaps one of the more cheerful guests as another. Any torment would amuse me, in truth."
