"Wha-?!" *gets kicked, then winces in pain as she leaps forward, away from Kat to massage her back* Ugh. That hurt. Wait lemme just take these off. *pulls up jeans to reveal ankle weights* "..." *takes them off and throws them to the ground as they land with a really heavy thud. *grins* Now I'm getting serious.
*disappears then reappears behind Kat and attempts to slice at Kat's neck with both katanas going at opposite directions*

'Since when did she have weights?'
*senses the sound of the katanas cutting through the air so she docks, dodging them expertly*
*as she's crouched, she places both hands down on the ground and lifts a leg to kick Mello's guts*

Mello skillfully lifts her body upwards, missing the well-aimed kick to her gut. She then lands on the ground and starts running at Kat with eccentric speed. She suddenly stops a few centimeters away from Kat and swings her katanas in an upward motion.

*bends back, somewhat forming a bridge with her body*
*she uses this position to grab hold of Mello, her own feet scissoring around Mello's waist*
*pulls Mello above her and uses her leg strength to throw her again before placing her own feet back on the ground and turning swiftly to ready herself for Mello's next move*

As Mello was thrown backward, she quickly noticed she was heading for a tree. So by quickly adjusting her body to the right angle and positioning her bent legs towards where the impact would be, she easily bounced off the tree with high acceleration and attempted to slice at Kat's head off again with her nitoryuu.
[Mello]
"Ohoho. Using the same old tricks again, eh Kat?" *grins*

*dodges the katanas once again*

*dashes to a few centimeters away from Mello then hand-stands, spinning around that way like a helicopter as she sends multiple kicks at her rival*

Let me try it! *takes shoes and socks off and throws them near the wall* "..." *sticks tongue out while thinking* "..." *grins at getting an idea* "..." *puts katanas on each foot securely and does a handstand and starts spinning around like Kat* "This is fun!! *grins*

Mello always had a knack for improvising at random situations. Maybe that's why some people called her 'tensai'(genius). Though she still couldn't understand why they called her retarded sometimes...

*turns serious again as she dashes once more at Mello once her sparring partner stopped the spinning and jumps, attempting another kick except at Mello's head this time*

Ah-ah-ah. *shakes head as she swings the katana, still on her foot, to where she deduced Kat's leg would be after she moved her head away* Oh and by the way, I am not a copycat. *pouts*

*stands back on her feet and gets into her stance, to strike again* Get ready fo--" *hears school bell ring* "..." *smiles at her as she lowers her weapons and puts them back in their sheath* "We'll continue this next time, shall we?"

She went to put her shoes on and after, she jumped to the wall next to her students. She grins at Kat before facing her students and grinning at them.

*lifts the weights up only to realize how heavy they were*

*spins a couple of times with a good grip on the weights before letting go of them, throwing them to Mello*
