Sahira looked at him blankly, unable to catch what was going on around her. She groaned and leaned back into the cushions of the back seat, Ruby and Aaron next to her. She simply hoped that the ringing in her ears would not be a permanent thing.

"To Phoenix, they moved the base to Phoenix. Don't exactly know why they moved it to Phoenix, but they did. I think it'd be a good idea to get Sahira checked up somehow. Though if you're up for a real real long road trip, we can head to Mississippi. I wouldn't mind that too much, myself." She brushed her hands through Aaron's curly hair, before giving him a quick kiss on the top of the head.
"I hate Mississippi," Aaron muttered low under his breath.

"Mississippi it is, then, girl." Alloran said, starting off again.
"Always did love runnin' from problems meself. Hell, I go'n hide in a bottle e'ry chance I get. Figure I'll be seein' you at the bottom o' one of those with me 'fore long, huh?" He turned his head, locking one of his eyes with hers. "Don't yeh worry, though. Runnin' from problems' the best answer. Sure, nothin gets done, but yeh ferget 'bout it, so who cares?"
Alloran turned back to the road. "Kid might be awkward. You plannin' on leavin' 'im with family?"

Ruby's eyes tightened. "I've thought 'bout it before. Findin' some good lovin' family who could take care of him better'n I could. No one could love him more'n me. But I can barely keep myself in line, let alone assist a growin' boy. So go ahead, Mississippi."
"I DON'T WANT TO GO TO MISSISSIPPI!" Aaron yelled out, getting frustrated at the conversation.

"An' I support yeh all the way, girl. No better way to feel sorry fer yerself than to push away the folks who could convince yeh otherwise." Alloran turned back to the road, nodding his head. "So should I kill the Angel now, or wait till yer lyin passed out in some soiled hotel room? Figure, he's gonna go lookin fer yeh, an I'd hate fer him to forcibleh talk some sense into yeh. I'll make it quick though, donna yeh worry. Frozen brain' he's out."

((Wow, lots of replies, none Ruby's.
1. Yes, Alloran's always had a bit of a drawl. Nothing strong and heavy, but it's evident.
2. I don't even remember why Arch tried to run you over. I'm pretty sure you started it.
3. Arch had nothing to do with the city-banning bit. That was entirely the Seer, and the others just went along for the ride. I don't think Arch even knows about it.
