After the bright light cleared Kittie began to open her eyes. Her forehead was sweaty and her chest hurt a little. You could here the machines by her bed beep as they got a hold on her breathing and heart beat. As her eyes slowly opened she looked around and began mumbling. "Where am I?"

Hero opened his eyes as he lays on a heap of garabage. Melody and Romeo weren't in site as it stood up. He was in some kind of alley but it didn't looks like building in the city. They were made of bricks that reach for the sky and some had cold hard metal. Hero placed his hand on a metal pipe and walked around confused and dazed. He saw people walking by down the alley and strange box carts running by.

Melody found herself sleeping on Romeo's soft fur. She looked around as a crowd of people surrounded her. "Where am I? Romeo, Romeo." She said while gently patting him on his shoulder. Romeo woke up and saw the humans around them. He tried to make a vine shield over Melody but he was powerless so instead he had to growl at them so that they could keep their distance.

Hero made it to the end of the alley as the sunlight shown down on him. He shaded his eyes from the sunlight and waited for his eyes to adjust. There was a scream next to him as he turned around to see an old lady.
"Uh..Excuse me ma'am. But what province is this?" he asked the shaking old lady who was holding a quivering cane and a bag. She stared at him wide eyed as she whacked him on the head with her purse. Hero held on his head and ran as the old woman kept hitting him. He stopped since no one was chasing him, but many people were staring wide eyed as Hero stared back at them. "What's wrong?"

The towns people all stared with great interest in the wolf demon. They had never seen such a beast or animal in their life. "What is it?" The humans would mumble upon each other as they tried to not let their curiosity get out of control. One man suggested that they call the police but others thought that in doing so, the demon would cause chaos and destruction.

Hero looked at them and turned around to run, but a car nearly crashed into him. It lolled to the side and stopped as he ran for it. Hero ran down the street as fast as he could as people started in awe and gasping. He ducked into a bulding and slide under a table before people started scrambling in.

Melody got scared from being around so many people who gazed at her. "She looks like a doll." Some women would comment while others tried to get Romeo to step away from her. Melody got on Romeo's back and he jumped on the garbage can behind him. From there he leaped onto the houses roof and went from roof to roof to avoid human contact. "Hero! Kittie! Where are you!?" Melody would yell out over and over again.
Kittie sat up on her bed and touched the side of her head. She had a huge gash that started to bleed. Her legs felt numb but she tried to her best to get out of bed and wobbled to the door.

People began to run to the other room as Hero quietly crawled out. His ears twitched as he listened for signs of footstep but they were gone in the other room. He sneaked to the door and rushed out, running until he reached a place with fewer people. Hero tumbled through a fenced area, were piles of junk piled to the sky. It looks like the crushed carriages that almost ran him over. Hero walked over to a pile and sat down.
Something clanked nearby as a few men walked out. They each carried a bag of junk and some jewelry dropped out. Hero stared at them while they stared back. A man eyed the bright green gem tied around his neck and snickered.
"Look boys, what a cute little costume he has on...not to mention the cute face." the man kept laughing as he walked closer. The others followed close by smiling.
"That gem doesn't seem like anything I've seen before." the other man eyes shown up as he inched so close he was almost touching Hero.
Hero shuffled away from them and was about to jump off the hood of the car and walk away when the third man stood in front of him. Before Hero could go around him or tell him off, the man tackled Hero onto the car as the other men jumped on him as well.

Romeo sniffed the air and growled as he ran faster. "What is it Romeo?" Melody asked as she held on tight. Romeo jumped down on one of the men and sank his fangs into his shoulder. "Leave him alone you big bullies!" Melody yelled as she hit the second guy across the head with a baseball bat she had found before reaching Hero.
"Hello? Is anyone here?" Kittie called out while she walked out of her room. She didn't recognize where she was and blood just kept dripping from her head.

Hero shoved the last man aside and sank his fangs into the man's arm as he hollared out loud grabbing his arm. He clentched his free hand into a fist and shot it toward's Hero's head but Hero let go and jumped back as the man his his own arm. He stubbled back and grabbed the belongings and ran. The other two man scrambled without grabbing onto the bag.

"Are you okay?" Melody asked Hero as she handed him a handkerchief that belonged to Kittie. Romeo picked up the two bags in his mouth and put them in front of Hero and Melody. Melody began to look through them and found many beautiful gems. "Wow, pretty." She commented as she showed them to Hero.
There was a sudden glass breaking sound and alerted Kittie. She walked towards the kitchen and nothing was there. The rooms upstairs where clear and she decided to check in the living room. She walked in carelessly and without concern on what might have been lurking around. There was a figure wearing all black, his face was covered as well. She held onto the side of the wall and sweat ran down her forehead, as she breathed heavily. "What are you doing here?" She asked in a low tone but it was loud enough for them to hear.

They bent over and picked up the picture that lay on the ground with shattered glass pieces over it. They picked up the picture and the shattered glass pieces and gently put them on top of the table. Then they stood up straight and glanced over at Kittie.
Two red eyes which looked like rubies looked at her. "What are you doing here?" She asked once again.
The whole house was dark and empty. The moons light reflected into the house through the window as it hit the figure. It was hard to guess whether they were male or female since they were wearing all black and their face was covered with a mask. As they walked towards Kittie she became alert and cautious. The stranger grabbed her wrist and pulled her close to them.
Kittie head butted them with her head and tried to kick them in the head. They were swift and dodged the kick but got knocked over by her other free leg's kick. Kittie stumbled a few steps back and hit the stairs with her back. She leaned against the staircase as blood gushed out of her head.
The stranger stood up and walked them self over to her. They sat down in front of her and took her hands and held them up against the staircase. Kittie tried to wiggle lose but couldn't, their body weight was to much for her and she was to tired to even move. "No..." She whispered as her vision became blurry.
The figure kissed her with their mask on and watched Kittie pass out. They carried her to her room and tucked her in her bed before disappearing.

"What are we going to do with all these gems, we can't just go up to someone and hand it to them." Hero growled and put them back in the bag and slug it over his shoulders. He started to talk more nonsense about the world they just stumbled when he caught a scent of something familiar. Her started running out of the junkyard and down the street until he came to tall building. He slumped the two bags on the ground and climbed up to the window. Inside he saw Kittie laying on her bed, and her head seems to be covered in blood. Hero clawed at the window but it wouldn't open. He wiggled back a few inches and tried to slam into the window to break it but it was to thick and ended up making a strange face on the glass.
"This glass is thicker then he ones back in town at home." he tapped it with his long nail and tried to look for another way to get in. Hero jumped to the roof where there was a chimney, but he didn't want to get stuck so he jumped into the backyard where a window lay broken. He crawled in stepping on a few pieces on glass as it cracked under his boots. Hero ran up the stairs and open the door. He walked over Kittie and placed his ear on her chest to check if she was still breathing before running around and look for something to stop her bleeding. He tumbled into the bathroom and found some towels which he took back to her room and poured water from a drinking glass on the side table and wiped her face.

Kittie opened her eyes, she was seeing double Hero's but then her sight went back to being normal. The blood which stopped sliding off the gash in her head closed. The blood that was on the towels began turning into a dark red color and soon it wasn't visible anymore.
Melody stood behind Hero and looked over at Kittie. She jumped on the bed happily and existed to see Kittie. Romeo was laying down behind the door when his ears twitched and he stood up. He began to growl and show his fangs as he backed away from behind the door.
The door slowly opened to reveal the same masked figure standing there. They stood up straight with one hand on their side and the other hand in which they held a sword, with a dragon shaped head on the back. The dragon's eye was a red ruby that shinned with the moons reflection. Blood dripped onto the floor from the sword, leaving small stains on the wooden floor in Kittie's room.

Hero growled and leaped in front of them growling. He ran at the masked figure and sank his fangs into their hand which was holding the hilt of the sword. Hero clentched his teeth tight now letting go.
