he squeezed her tighter also trying not to drop her while going further away. then he spoke, " Your ok now Sara, you can open your eyes. its just you and me. I took you away from where she was."

Sara didn't want to open her eyes and she was still trembling. A few tears were falling from her closed eyes as she saw the terrible things from the past come back. She finally opened her eyes to see Shino holding her. The shadows seemed to be gone and she was safe. 'I-I'm sorry.", she said as she wiped her eyes. "I was useless and couldn't even run away.....just like last time...", she whispered the last and tried to control her emotions.

Shino saw her crying. "You dont have to be sorry. you didnt do anything wrong." he said to her gently, "Its ok though, i dont mind carrying you." he said with a smile.

Sara blushed alittle and attempet to give a smile, but it didn't come. She looked down then hugged Shino. She was still crying, but she felt better with him around.

he hesitated a little in suprise of her hug, but then smiled and hugged her back. he noticed his shirt getting a little wet from her tears, but he didnt mind it. "Are you going to be ok now?" he asked her in a quite but gentle voice.

She nodded and said,"So, what are we going to do now?" She wiped the tears away and looked in the direction of where the girl was.

Sara twitched as he asked this question and lowed her head. She closed her and took a deep breath. She didn't want to tell anyone and never did, but somehow it was a little easier to talk to him. She opened her eyes and said,"Well, my mom was like that. I mean with the shadows and everything and one day it went crazy." She took another breath and continued,"So, while her powers got out of control my dad tried to stop her and the shadows consumed and........killed him. After he fell to the floor the shadows started to come towards me and all I did was sit there and panic." The tears started to come back again. She closed her eyes and said,"the only thing that kept the shadows from killing me was that my mom thought I wasn't worth killing so the shadows just tortured me." She opened her eyes and looked down the hall again.

"oh...i'm sorry that happened to you." he said and then hugged her. "well your here now right?," he kissed her forehead and wiped her tears away to try to make her feel better then said,"and your not hurt...and i'm right here for you...so, there's no need to fret."

Sara blushed as he hugged and kissed her. Sara finally smiled and said,"Yes. Your here for me now." With that she kissed him and stood up.
