Ray looked away, flustered, still a bit unsure of things. He made it clear back then that he wanted no part of things, yet now Elzam requested to train him and the EAF wanted use him as a pawn. His trail of thought was then broken when he heard Rick chuckl, "Whoah... You're the second one. Why do kids these days rush things so much? They have an entire lifetime!" Rick laughed out loud, thoguh as Ray came to look at him, he was much more serious than he appeared. "So... what happens to me now?" Ray asked, unable to decipher on what Elzam would want him to do, given that it had been explained quite clearly that his GUNDAM wasn't very battle rady.

"Well... your gundam is only a proto-type..." Elzam stated, "It isn't outfitted for an accual battle..." He then thought for a moment, and then asked Ray, "Tell me... are you good at piloting a gundam... or... perhaps.... a fighter plane...? even a normal one...?"

Emyr had got to use and grow use to his gundam training with robert and them. He then heard the call. Emyr jumped out his bed and almost tripped as he walked towards the door. He calmed himself. He then opened the door and went out. He walked down the coridor. Of the vessel he was in. He was sure this would not be an easy fight. He fianlly found himself a door away from his commander. He opened it making sure he was calm first. He Then spoke. "so we found them did we?" He got his pilot uniform on and stood in front of robert ready for orders. He just waited as he made sure he kept calm. He was acting like a kid in a candy store for the first time. He had to calm down. Battle was serious unlike what he kept thinking.

"Perfect", Ryn said, still sitting inside Bloodfin, his eyes scanning the various systems, double and triple checking everything. All systems were at maximum efficiency, and there was no doubt that the Bloodfin would perform as required, when next they went into combat.
Grinning, Ryn unhooked himself, and climbed out of the hatch, leaving it open this time, ready the instant anything happened. He floated back towards Ray and Elzam, shouting,"Its running great! Should be at maximum efficiency when the fighting starts."

"That's good." Elzam said, turning toward Ryn, "Get it prepared for launch, and wait for further orders... I don't want one person jepordizing the whole battle..."

"Sure thing.", Ryn said, floating his way back to Bloodfin, landing on the hatch. He waved once to Ray, and then hopped inside, flicking several switches to bring it fully on. Clipping his helmet on, he entered the system, and said into the Comm,"Pilot Ryn, of the Bloodfin, prepared for launch!"
He grinned into his helmet, as his suit sealed itself up, the hatch clicking into place, and locking closed, while all the weapons gave him readouts telling him that they were running perfectly. "This is the end of the world as these people know it.", He said under his breath, after making sure the Comm was off.

Robert waved lightly to Emyr. "Yep." He looked around. All pilots were here accept for one. He frowned "We can get going soon as this 'ace' pilot they've hired shows up." Robert hated when the company did things like this without telling him, but, what are you going to do? All he knew was this guy better be worth the fuss.

"Well... I don't really know," Ray answered quite honestly, scratching his head, "I mean, it's just like ultra hard Non Reale and all, but I dn't know if I can acctually take them down. That GUNDAM back then hurt Deane's mobile suit pretty bad..." He looked over to the far side of the hanger, and spotted the uniquely red robot, standing still like a bust. "I only tried it once, and I'm not very sure myself, but I believe that it somewhat responds to my thoughts, like t's my own body." He did not quite understand what he was saying, but somehow, it as just the very thing that seemed to overshadow his oppinion of the GUNDAM, "His name's Shift." He said lightly and smiled.

Tchai approached the door leading to the Commander's office. Two flanking officers stared at him as he paused for the door to open, and passed through. He scanned the room for the secretary he was to meet about gaining admittance to the Commander's presence. Spotting her he slowly walked up to her desk, setting his hand atop a messy pile of papers. "Hello, I am Captain Stanton, you've been requesting me?" The woman looked up at him from behind a thin pair of cat-like classes, "Of course Captain, I'll tell Commander Briggs that you are here." With that she turned, exiting through a nearby door. Tchai scanned the papers, which appeared blank to his vision, and sighed slightly. The woman re-entered, beckoning him to follow. He did as commanded and entered the office.
"Yes, thank you Commander, I am very happy to be here." He took the man's hand and nodded at him, "I hear that you have had a few interesting skirmishes with the EAF recently and wish for someone of my talent to...become involved?" He cocked an eyebrow at the Commander.

Deane heard the commotion over the intercom and put down his book. "This would be a great time to sneak a look at Strike and see if i can make anymore adjustments plus I want to get to know a little more about my roomy." Deane said as he exited the room. Deane looked left and then right before stoping and thinking. Finding the hanger should be easy enough to find again.. Deane sighed. and ran off to the hanger. After messing up a few time and then asking for directions Deane found his way soon enough to hear most of what was going on. "Elzam I'd like to fight again and this time I'll prove myself." Deane said after he quickly soluted. "Thats if you will let me sir"

"I see..." Elzam said, "It works on your thoughts...? It must be a nueral link..." Elzam looked up, and saw Ray was looking at Elzam, and quite confused at that. "Ah... a nueral link... is... that the Shift is connected to your brainwaves, and preforms based on your emotions and thoughts..." Elzam then looked at the Shift, then back to Ray, "Hm... I know it's risky... but... if you wish to come into battle, you can take the Shift. Just stay near me."
Elzam then turned to Deane, and said, "Of course, this IS your home now, and I could use all the help I can get."

Kyosuke heard the announcement to perpare for battle, and ran to the hangar. He saw mobile suits of all kinds, surprisingly kinds he'd never seen before. Then he sw his familiar red-and-black one, the Alteisen. He ran to it, and readied for battle. The onboard screen said:
DIAGNOSTICS START ENERGY CORE: READY HEAT HORN CHARGE MECHANISM: READY REVOLVER STAKE FIRING MECHANISM: READY Z-SABER: READY TELSA DRIVE: READY NEURO-LINK SYSTEM: READY DIAGNOSTICS COMPLETE
RESULTS: 100% OPERATIONAL.
Kyosuke then began to use his Telsa Drive (experimental flight unit) to float a few inches off the floor. He moved as many parts on his suit as possible, checking to see if they work. He never trusted computer diagnostics. He took out and put back all of his weapons, one at a time, and then he relaxed. Kyosuke Nanbu was ready for battle.
