Kellas looks at Ignatius, raising an eyebrow. However, not sure he's that interested, he goes over and checks a tree for ants and such before sitting against it.

It wasn't long before Mags returned to his position in the tavern. This time, however, his eyes had a look of pure concentration in them. "I need to be stronger, huh? Something tells me he is talking about more ways than one..." Farlic managed to walk his way back over to Mags, looking a little concerned at the hobgoblin. "Hey, bud. Is everythin' alright?" Mags looked up at the gnome who had taken a seat on top of the counter he rested his elbows against. "Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just trying to think of a way to make myself stro-" At that moment, a man burst into the tavern, blood dripping from his forehead and his right arm, which he clutched with his left hand. "Someone, please help! My brother...my little brother was kidnapped and taken to the north woods. Please, I need someone to help me!" The various people of the tavern started mumbling amongst themselves. 'That's suicide!'. 'Those woods are haunted!', 'Who would want to go there?', 'No amount of money is worth that!'. Mags stared at the man. His head was hung low and his tears began to mix with the blood on his face. "Please...help him..." Mags waited another moment before getting out of his seat and approaching the man. "Sir, my name is Mags. I will be willing to assist you, but unfortunately, my assistance comes with a price. How much are you willing to offer?" The man lost the little bit of hope that he had on his face. "All I have in my possession is 5 silver..." Mags paused before continuing. "I didn't ask how much you had, I asked how much you were willing to gi-" The man looked Mags straight in the eyes, his eyes full of conviction. "I cannot put a price on my brother, I would give you everything I owned in return for you bringing him home safe and alive!" Mags blinked a couple of times, his expression unchanging. However, under his stoic face, he was rather impressed. "...we'll discuss the price upon my return, time is wasting..." The man's face looked relieved as his eyes rolled into his sockets and he passed out, probably from exhaustion. Mags checked the man's vitals before standing up and turning to the bartender. "Farlic, if anyone comes in looking for me, tell them I went north on a mission." Mags walked briskly out the door and immediately mounted his horse. Crap...how the hell am I going to do this by myself?

Sarjak looked over to the one who called out Liz-girl. "Hm?..." She walked over to the one who called her name before she could recognise him. "Oh hello, seems we meet again."

Kevven merely chuckled, "Aye, it seems we do." He walked towards her, 'I have a business proposal'a sorts." A sly grin splayed across his face.

Ignatius sighs. Vengance was not on the top of his "to do" list, but he would do it for her, as she would have done for him. He'd better go and find any traces of unlife up in the woods, but, this brittle morning called for a hefty breakfast...

Kellas's eyes go wide as he so easily catches a fish, then he looks away indignantly and starts paying more attention to his new stick.

With the fish slowly cooking over a small fire, Ignatius takes some of his time to meditate under a tree, letting the even flow of nature flow through him...

She gave a soft chuckle. "Forgive me, but I am not interested in plundering. So unless there is something you have to suggest to me that may contribute to the greater good, I will be on my way."

Kellas sits by the fire, occasionally poking it with a stick, not for any means of maintaining it, but rather his own amusement. "Well, I hope you have someone in mind to help us out, because otherwise, I'm gonna go find shelter before the rain starts."

"We could always go and try to find Sir Mags, he may be of some useful support." He offers half of the fish to Kellas, "it may not rain for a while, so we have time to organize. If you'd like, I've got a sturdy cloak you could borrow. It'll protect you better from the rain than what you've got on now..." He procedees to look up into the sky, smiling at the clouds as if in a challenge.

Mags sneezes. "Damn it, I better not be getting a cold..." He stood at the edge of the forest next to his horse, between the town and the wall of trees. His eyebrow twitches as he looks ahead, a feeling of agitation and idiocy washing over him. In his mind he can't believe that he accepted this task on his own. However, a deal is a deal...even if he is going to get short changed out of it. Despite his inner complaints, he begins looking around the tree line, attempting to find a section that would be used as a common entrance, as that would most likely be where the kidnappers took that man's brother. "Great going, Mags. Should have taken that man's offer when he asked if you wanted to know how to track..." He mumbled under his breath as he mounted Harris and rode cautiously along the edge of the woods.
