The front page has been updated somewhat. I think it needs a bit more updating, but I can't recall what needs to be done at the moment.

Ok, I think I fixed it up so that you will enjoy it! Now she's a combat medical officer with military training. Is that good?

This is definitely workable- though I think Straken's excited jabbering may have confused you.
Combat Medics generally go with ground forces. the ones who treat pilots stay on the ship because it is impossible to treat an injured pilot in space.
In any case, I will Approve her, as long as you understand she'll be in ground battles. We need another medic, anyway.

Are there any ground battles? And I don't want a character who just sits at in the ship and worries. Could she please be sent out with the pilots? She's not a super doctor, she's more like an intern so she wouldn't be a huge loss if she died.

You got a problem with my excited babbling, Kai?! Hehe, our last medic got shot in the face. Nobody misses him that much though, or rather nobody misses him at all. And as much as I want more people with the pilots, it would probably be in your best interests to go with the marines if you are set on being a medic. Otherwise you would be chillin' in the hangar until the ship come back in, which would be rather boring and I would advise just being a pilot.
If you did chill with the pilots you would get lots of perks, such as: awesome intra-character interactions, you would get to hang with the cool guys, you would take orders from me instead of Kai(trust me, its a good thing), and the pilot arc is quickly becoming one of the biggest parts of the story(prime real estate).
DISCLAIMER: You can probably ignore about 50% of this message

If you join the guild I PM'ed to you, you would notice that our Marines are currently on a side-story.
As for ground battles, the plot switches every chapter from a Ground battle with the Marines to a space battle with the pilots, though there's usually something going on for everyone at all times.
And don't listen to Straken. he posts less than I do.

Sorry for the confusion, Dragonhealer.
I would suggest being a Marine Combat medic if you want to be a medic. it will be painless and simple to have you join the plot, as well as give your character plenty to do.

Gaian Name: dragonhealer -General Name: Ira Shekel Age: 20 Height:6'2" Weight:135lbs Species: Terran Job: Pilot Rank:Private
-Psychological Personality: Cocky and far to stupid for his own good. Ira does not make good choices, he would rather cut off his hand then do something the boring way. According to him there is always a cooler, sexier and much funner way to do anything/ everything. And he's going to be the one to do it. Ira has a thing for men, even though he is still very much a virgin he pines for any man to embrace. He's nothing but a teenager with to much power and not enough love. Likes: Men... any men, adrenaline, flying, smoking, drinking, taking photographs, laughing, flirting. Dislikes: Injury, rejection, vegetables, rose scented perfume, paper cuts, hangovers, and colds. Goals: Ira wants to just wring every bit of fun he can out of the days he has left.
-History Short History: Seven year old Ira was alone in the word and very much afraid. His family was dead, killed by the Drathonians whom they had been acting as cultural interpreters and aids to. It was their job to help them with social and business concerns, to make them feel at home and to understand the delicate goings on of everyday life... This should have made them their closest allies but... Unfortunately it did not work. Ira was at a friend's house when the attack started. They didn't wait to find out who had died and who hadn't. The whole family piled into their car and drove as fast and as far as they could. The vehicle full of scared and practically hopeless people arrived at the military base a half hour away. It was at the base that Ira was separated from his friend and send to wait with the other kids who had lost their parents, in case someone did come to find him, if they survived. It was a month before Ira was escorted back to his home to seek out any living family members. He had to wait outside while the solder who was with him went inside and found that everyone was accounted for and very much dead. The boy immediately dissolved into tears. He was taken back to the base. For the next week he did nothing but cry and sleep. The kid was obviously messed up. But so was everyone else at this point, there wasn't a physiologically healthy kid left on the plant. The boy was raised from that point with no special treatment, by the system his local government put in place for all of the orphaned children. It was harsh and cold. Lonely and cruel. Growing up like this meant that Ira had to find a way off the planet as soon as possible. Due to the lack of attention, Ira started to act out in ways that would get him noticed by both his peers and his elders. He would climb the tallest radio tower, Jump over the deepest hole, do some of the stupidest stunts he could think of because it was really the only way he got noticed. After a while he found that he had a bit of a talent for pulling off stunts and not getting to badly hurt. He grew arrogant and even more childish. The kid found that the more arrogant he acted the more attention he got after pulling off some idiotic task. Even if he failed he could still get a laugh because of his attitude. Nine years later the boy enrolled in the military, he found the comradely of it far more pleasant and after the first flight simulator he tried... He knew that The skies were for him. Ira started training to be a pilot at seventeen and after four years they have finally put him on his first real team. -Notes Appearance: tan , bony, and awkward. Ira has long arms and longer legs, his limbs are thin and lanky in comparison to his large hands and feet, he still has that puppy dog way of walking and moving that most teenagers have. The kid's hair is wavy, scruffily dirt brown and he has no facial hair to speak of. His people didn't think that facial hair was an attractive quality on anyone. The boy keeps his hair a bit long, like a British rock star, or at least that's the look he was going for. Ira's eyes, like his hair, are dirt brown. Nothing special about them. His skin is an olive golden tan color but his cheeks are peppered with freckles. Distinguishing characteristics: A tattoo of a carp covers his left shoulder blade, his hands are always moving when he speaks, like fluttering bird. Ira's ears are pierced and he wears little silver hoops.

Could you explain the personality a little better? It doesn't exactly mesh with the history, and there's nothing to really show why he is the way he is. It's a little bit picky, I know, but I like making sure that my players know why their characters are the way they are so they can properly portray them- I've seen too many characters written one way and played another.
