"Well, I'm almost a man." But he didn't really want to give a present of that sorts out anyway. Leaning down, he picked up his crate then headed for the stairs. "I wouldn't drop a baby either. I can practically pick up Malikhai." Sort of but Daddy didn't need to know that. He glanced up for a moment as he climbed the stairs and shrugged. "Just a book I found." Thus time to distract Daddy from the things he was saying. He walked down to his room and nested the egg in next to his bed then hurried back down the hall. He pushed open his parent's bedroom door softly. "Mommy?" Silence. "Mommy?!"
Zahara was lying there, quite still though she was not in reverie. Her nose had begun bleeding for reasons she couldn't explain and she didn't want to frighten the child. Sevilin probably wasn't going to be happy but she hadn't done anything major. Merely tried to black out her reverie which had backfired horribly on her.

"But you can't hold him like you need to hold a baby." Little elf was determined though wasn't he? Waiting for the boy to settle his egg and then come back, they walked into the room, though he frowned at her as he noted the blood, her rather blank yet awake state, and the runic energy in the room.
Walking over to the bed, he sat down on the edge and looked her over. Oh he knew this. Blackout attempt going wrong...which essentially snapped you into a paralytic state of sorts. He scribed his own runes in succession to cancel out hers, sitting her up when he was done and wiping blood from her face. "Alright?"

Her eyes were moving quite frantically since she couldn't move the rest of her body and she blinked a few times then wrinkled her nose. That had been quite frightening to say the least. "Don't you even start to lecture me..." Moving slightly slowly since she had been laying there for the better part of an hour, unable to move. "It was with good intentions...ow..." Though she forced a smile for her son. "Hey little one."
Zykariel hopped up onto the bed and crawled over to her, tilting his head. "Are you sure you're okay?" He wasn't too sure and he didn't like not being sure. He tugged on his father's arm. "Daddy...? What was wrong with her?"

Sevilin brushed a hand through her hair, careful of the bump on her head and merely nodded. "I'm not going to lecture you." She knew quiet well that she shouldn't be doing things she wasn't runically ready for at all. Gently he eased her back into the crook of his arm. "Just give yourself a moment." Turning hsi look back over to his son then. "Mommy tried to do something that she isn't ready for and got herself hurt. She'll be fine."

It was just as well seeing as she'd lectured herself more times than she could count. There wasn't much else for her to do, lying there adn waiting for someone to come find her or the runes to wear off. Thankfully they'd found her first because she knew from personal experience that some runes just didn't wear off. She leaned against him and sniffed then glanced at him. "What have you two been doing for the last hour?"
Zykariel studied her closely then nodded. Daddy would take care of her and that was the important thing. "Daddy told me about the special present and how it doesnt leave your tummy until it's ready to. He wouldn't show it to me though." Slight pouty look there. "So, Mommy, are you ready to have the present yet? Is it soon?"
She was quiet for a little bit, connecting things in her mind. "Present?" She had no idea what the child was going on about though it sounded as if he was speaking of a baby. Oh this should be good. "Actually, little one, I was thinking it was time Daddy and I got married for real. And I want to do it as soon as possible."

Oh goodness...the child just always jumped into things. He cleared his throat. "We were talking about babies and him being a big brother." Giving a look to Zykariel. "Not so much, let mommy recover some. And you'll wear yourself out if you keep going so fast." Giving a smile though to Zahara's words and attention still on his son. "How do you like the sound of that? See, mommy has something else first before she plans anything else and you know hwo stubborn she is one she decides to do something.

Malik had taken piper with him and retired to the main living area, sitting in his favorite chair and drinking some wine, just content to be in her presence for the time...though he was getting a bit concerned about Lateef and his wife's absence. a thousand things could go wrong for those not used to the underdark or ill prepared..and he certainly didn't want to have to tell Kieran he'd killed or seriously injured his right hand man. though a grin at thier son, laying on teh floor curled up with yinn in the last position they'd been in during thier tussling around.

Babies and presents...she'd have Sevilin explain it all to her later. No doubt it would get a rather large laugh out of her. Sex talk with children...her son was growing up too fast. "You can't be a big brother until Daddy and I are married."
Purple eyes got really big and he slammed his fists down. "You are married. You have rings and you told each other you love each other. You're married."
She'd been afraid of this. Moving her body a little closer to his she sighed. "Kariel, you told your father he was playing a game and that I was supposed to play too. We didn't even know what the rings were much less have anything that even resembled a wedding. But I want one of those. You were still in my tummy when Piper got married so you won't remember but it was a real wedding. I want one of those and until I get one, you can't be a big brother."
"But you are married! I made sure of it! Keely even said so..." and Keely wouldn't lie to him. Not ever. He glared at them both adn slamemd his fistst down again. "Say it! You're married. Say itttttttt!"

She was occassionally stealing his glass from him for herself, watching thier son as he was curled up with Yinn. Dinner had already been taken care of, so she didn't see the need to rouse him. Besides, if he was in reverie it was a good thing. "I wish I could still pass out wherever I wanted to. Bet we could get him to stay in his own bed tonight and we can have ours back to ourselves." Slipping off his lap and walking over, poking the draithix to wake him before she picked up their son, the little elf not even moving. "Come on, let's put him to bed and then we can indulge ourselves in our own, sound good, love?" Giving him a flick of gold from her eyes, just because.
Uh oh, tantrum, and not magic was back which meant that the fragile things in the room could break. SHaking his head he pulled the child into his lap, tryign to soothe him a bit. "Shhh...listen to me. Yes, me and mommy are married. But no one else knows that. See usually people throw a big ceremony to show two people are married...that's why Arthur tried to give mommy jewelry too, he didn't know we were married because he didn't see or know about the big wedding party. Understand?" He loved the ability to think things up like that on the spot.

Big teary purple eyes gazed up at him for a long moment and he took what was said and thought it over. "So if you have a party then everyone will know no matter what?" He crossed his arms for a moment and frowned, "But you've had your rings for a while and Malik and Piper have thiers and everyone knows they are. You sure it will happen?"
Zahara could not handle a tantrum right now and she closed her eyes and flopped back on the pillows. By the gods, please don't. One eye squinted open at that well placed lie and she glanced up for a moment. Very good thinking. Of course the child felt the need to question everything... "I think it's time for a certain little boy to take a bath."

He tapped the boy's nose. "They had thier party, you were there even. But you were still in mommy's tummy. And yes, I'm sure that that will happen." Watching Zahara a moment...she was all worn out, and duely threw out a suggestion. "Indeed. Tell mom goodnight, it's dinner, bath and bed for you." Waiting for the boy to do so before giving Zahara a kiss and then picking the boy up to cart him off to do such things.

He crawled over and wrapped his arms around his mother's neck, hugging her tightly then kissed her and turned back. "Do I get to come to the party?"
She hugged him back and chuckled, "Of course you do, little one. It wouldn't be the same without you there." That seemed to mollify him and even take care of the bath issue they always ran into because he let his father take him off. "There's stew in the fridge!" she called after them as they left the room and then rolled onto her side. Picking up the linkstone tucked into the bedside table drawer. "Piper? Are you alone?"

The child has been put to bed already and Malik and Piper had been getting ready for bed as well. Walking by the bedside table, she swiped up the stone at the familiar voice that came through it, gave a look to Malik...he probably knew it was important anyay, and then walked her way into thier bathroom, shutting the door for some privacy so Malik didn't have to leave thier bedroom. "I am now. What can I do for you?"

She was half surprised that Piper had even answered. "I have a proposition for you. You don't have to answer tonight but I do need one first thing in the morning. But before that, just listen." Zahara paused for a moment and shook her head resolving to just be blunt and forge on ahead. "I don't want you having another baby. I don't think your body can handle it and I don't like the thought of you not being around anymore. I do know how you feel and I do know how I would feel if I couldn't have another baby." She paused long enough to take a breath and continued, "Here's my proposition. You help me plan my wedding which is taking place as soon as possible and I will start you on the potion tomorrow. You will take it until you are pregnant or decide otherwise but you will listen to all of my instructions and not fight me at all. And provided my wedding occurs in the next two days. If those are agreeable to you, then we'll go from there. If not, find someone else."

Piper held back a sigh at the first bit of talked. Once again, those words were being thrown in her face, but this time it seemed like there was a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel. She blinked...she had to throw a wedding together in two days? It took months to do her own...granted though Malik wanted it all big and grand so that meant a lot of planning...Zahara probably wanted very simple. She was quiet a moment before deciding. "I'll do my best. I expect to see you dark and early. It's a food deal." Thus deactivating the stone. Hm, she was going to have to harass Lateef in the morning. But for now she merely walked back out into the bed chamber and climbed into bed beside Malik, cuddling into him. "I have another wedding to plan..." But she'd deal with that in the morning.
