In my head canon he has been in an uninhabited system for some months. If he were still in the Solar system it'd still be pretty easy for any of the Green Lanterns to come and talk to him, but if he's out of the system or maybe even in another sector then that makes it pretty clear he just wants to be left alone.

I'm doing art and role playing so replys will be a bit slow. I can stay up late tonight even though I get up early. I'm out of work early so I'll just nap when I get home.
