Binatica Nah, that'd be Dreslin, who made this big old arguement over something entirely retarded. I'm the sensible one calling him a retard. Actually, Dreslin already dropped the arguement a page or two back with his "Sorry for being a newb" post; you're the only one raving on about it. And had you merely said, the fart's stench wouldn't effect your character very much because the smell wasn't that much of an overwhelming thing - especially in an out-door arena - this may not've gone on as long as it did.
Instead, you've disected Dreslin's statements and tried to argue with him about every.. little.. ******** thing, and the entire situation got convulted as Hell.

Chris Custard The AMP only works so long as people obey it. They're recommendations not rules. Once people read it, they keep it in mind.

Typhoon_Omi -, and, a general ego brought on of someone that thinks they're too cool for school. When, he's................................................................. not! Oh, HELL NO. David Bowie is THE s**t. scream Types of role-player Oldbies: Are veterans of role-playing. They generally know best after years of experience. Elites: Elites are on their way to becoming Oldbies, but are still changed Literates. Elites can be recognised by their "Elites only" policy, with no leeway whatsoever. They are generally quite cocky, think they are better, and insist on using reams and reams of detail. This can be particularly true for magic users, who are convinced that their descriptions of the traits and limits of magic are unquestionable. (Not all Literates become Elites before they move on to Oldbies. Don't worry.) Literates: A growing minority, literate role-players are just that. They use correct punctuation and grammar, and role-play fairly. Literates often refer to, and follow, the AMP (Anti-Munch Project). ne0 n00b: ne0s (never use a capital 'n' for them!) at first appear to be Literates. This falsehood becomes apparent after a few posts however, as they tend to break the AMP a lot, and are actually just n00bs who can spell. n00b: (Don't use a capital 'n' for these either!) n00bs are the worst role-player available. A sad and terribly derogatory approach to take, but the simple fact of the matter is that they just cannot and will not role-play fairly, even when outnumbered, outgunned, and obviously dead in character. They will often resort to flaming, leading to eventual bans, new accounts, and new bans. Newbie: A Newbie can at first seem to be an n00b, they can though, learn to correctly role-play fairly and adequately. Newbies are to be encouraged and treated well, and will often grow into skilled Literates. Clarifications on a few of these: Newb: The new guy, someone who still hasn't been around the block yet, and still has a lot to learn. They may know their stuff in some ways, and lack severely in others; the majority of what they have to learn is 'house rules', or the way that people are expected to behave in the roleplaying community. It is for this reason that even an oldbie on another site can be a newb for a few days on a new one until they have learned the local customs. Be kind to the newbs, nurture them, help them, teach them, and they will grow up big and strong into someone you can be proud to call a bud.n00b: The common misconception... n00bs are not new. They can be, but generally what makes a n00b is unwillingness to learn new things or adapt to those things that they do not agree with. A few common traits of the n00b are being quick to anger, refusing to compromise, and refusing to listen to reason. It is an unfortunate fact that as people gain more roleplaying experience, the risk of falling into n00bdom increases, because they become set in their ways and refuse to compromise the ideals that they have established. Can't teach an old dog new tricks... Remember: Stupidity is an excuse, ignorance isn't.Literate: A misleading term... there is no illiterate roleplayer, at worst a semiliterate... because the illiterate can't read or write. Semi-literate would simply be about their ability to write, not their ability to roleplay. There would be common grammar and spelling/punctuation errors, and posts would generally be short. Literate, as the community expects, means longer posts, better spelling/grammar and grasp of language... and though the name does not imply it, people also expect a certain level of roleplaying skill and maturity from the player. Just because we can write a page about something doesn't mean it makes sense to.Elite: Scum of the RPing universe. What do you get when you combine n00b, Oldbie, and Literate? You get the Elite... Exclusive, Closed-Minded, Epic posters, who have nothing better to do than tell you why you're not good enough to be in their superior group of roleplayers. Pray, yunguns, that you never become one of these... as glamorous as it may seem to be 'special', you can still be an awesome roleplayer while not being a jackass about it. You see that? You see that guild insignia in my sig? That means I'm BETTER than you! Now STFU n00b!ne0 n00b: See 'Elite'. Oldbie: These ones've been around the block a few times, seen what their is to see, and tried out a lot of things. They generally know what they're doing, and even if they're in a bad mood (read: being a jackass), the advice they give is usually sound. If you're lucky enough to find an amiable oldbie to ask advice from when you need it, then god speed yungun, god speed. Quote: Original Creator Of The Anti-Munch Project: Unknown as of yet. Tanasha. Jello - Hey, I just tucked the stuff away on my computer for future reference. And hell man, I never met nor looked at the user of the person for future reference when I first read the AMP when I was a wee newb. And there's that thing that I never actually found the thread again, was just lucky enough to find that Oxy guy posting it in the FFA. domokun
