No, but you may learn something by observing.

*The gnomes work busily, and have already cleared most of the debris from the floor, and have gotten on with repairing the floorboards.*
At this stage the enchantment is set and all I do is observe the results, but what you can learn is choosing the suitability of a given enchantment. Pragmatism and familiarity are two keys to power in magic.
*She picks up one of the gnomes, a construct build from the debris surrounding the bistro.*
These gnomes are a perfect example. A large crew of smaller creatures is perfect for maneuvering in the debris and beginning the reconstruction. Using giants for the more subtle and delicate work would, for example, be more trouble than it would be worth. This covers the pragmatics. Gnomes are creatures that I am familiar with, having dealt with them in Asguard for the majority of my lives. The less familiar the form of an enchantment is to you, the more difficult it is to control.

*Sets the gnome down.*
The duration of the spell is of course dependent on the needs of the situation. These gnomes will be useless once the construction is finished. Are you grasping the importance of familiarity in your spellcasting?

Educated? Yes. Chastised? No. Your primary limitation is your inability to cast the same spell twice and the difficulty in repeating the same results. This is a critical shortcoming for a magician.

How many times have you been limited or set back by unpredictable results of your spells?

You cannot deny, however, that if you had access to a more stable repertoire of spells, you would be more effective, more powerful.

Vice, as with virtue cannot be taught. Were this otherwise, you would have certainly been corrupted by your parents.
