"Bond. You should know where the child is. Have to excercise that thing, remember?" She rolled her eyes but let him usher her out to see the boys, where yes they were in the little hatching pen they had, Zykariel picking through eggs for the one he wanted, Malikhai spouting off what he thought was good about each one and Keely standing diligently by.

He looked away from his friend and the eggs a moment, over to mom and dad who got a smile and a laugh from him. Always a joy to see the parents. "I'm not charging him daddy." Before giving a whistly to Yinn...whom promptly climbed up the boy's back and latched here, fore paws over his shoulders and resting his head on the boy's. Malikhai toddled on over. "Whatcha got for him?"

Meilikki's funeral had not been long, Delta kept it as short as she could without being disrespectful. Those who where there where there, and those who were not were not, she could hardley care. Let mother be burried and done with. The townsfolk had spent such time preparing her body, it seemed like such a waist.

Some very sweet things were said, songs sung and what not, Delta hardly listened. She didn't know her mother long enough to really care.

After the eulugy, the Oracle's body was laid deep in the catacombs. Rock spiders began forming webs over the tomb almost the second the stone doors were shut.

Delta didn't bother with wards, as the Oracle wasn't burried with anything that a grave robber would deal with, and the spiders would get to any person long before they reached the grave.

She left the tomb, went back to the her new manor without much of a thought about the previous Oracle.

Zahara refused to even look at Malik, not that it mattered to him at all, but she plopped back down on the couch and sighed. "Hell of a day, huh?" A fight with Piper, a fight with Malik, a head injury and going unconscious in the Underdark. Yeah that pretty much covered it. She patted the spot next to her on the couch and gave him her version of puppy eyes. "I just want to be held right now. I'll let you look at my head if you want..." And the god damn lovely knot she had growing. Her headache was coming back with the pain potion wearing off, too.

Zykariel finally found the egg he wanted and lifted it out of the small pen carefully so that the other draithix wouldn't scratch and bite. He knew better than to take eggs from nests. The animals tended to get territorial. Lugging it back over he held it in front of him. "This is the one I want."

"Has to be some of them." He figured that there wasn't much reason to be bitter about the day and he better expect that there were going to be more of them. Walking over to the couch, he sat down next to her and looped an arm around her. "All of these puppy eyes around me today, one would think that I'm some sort of nay-saying tyrant." A smile somewhat to her. "I won't poke at you, no worries."

His attention moved from his parents for the moment and to his friend, looking at the egg that he had picked up and carried over. "That looks like a good one." Putting his hand on the egg for a moment. "Gonna hatch soon too. Must of been one of the first ones laid after the others got here."

"Tara-chan. What are you doing?" Orko huffed at the elf child. "Morning for the dead is a waste of energy."

The elf child really wanted to hurt Orko, but he was smart enough to know that would not ease his suffering. Orko was not even close to being as valuable as Meilikki. So, the child merely angrily glared at the wizard.

"Oh, I see. You loved her so much that you can't even accept her." The wizard said rather confusingly.

"What?" Tarathiel replied.

"If you truly care about another person, you are able to accept that they are alive, they make choices, and they must live with the consequences of those choices. If you deny them this, you deny them themselves. If you deny the people you love the ability to be the masters over their own fate, do you sincerely love them?"

Tarathiel looked at the wizard with a shocked expression. "I should..."

"Help them when they need to be helped, but does that mean you have the right to take away what makes them themselves?"

"What?"

"By crying over the death of our dear Lady, you are denying her her life. The end of her life is part of her life, and in denying her that, you deny her. Can you deny a person and still say you love them?"

"Deny... I guess not."

"So, instead of morning for the fallen, you should accept that you love Meilikki, and everything about Meilikki. That includes her demise."

"Orko, I'm going to have to ask you to stop filling the young Prince's head with such things." Cedric interrupted.

"Quit elf. I'm making the child stop crying so he doesn't get himself killed." Orko replied, "Unless, you think dying is a good thing? No, I didn't think so."

"At least accept that normal people have emotions, Orko." Cedric rebutted.

"I have emotions too, I just force them to accept the logical conclusion instead of allowing them to rule my logic. Facts are facts, emotions are no so sturdy. Less we forget what happens to elves who let emotions guide their judgement..." Orko purred his devilish argument, referring to some elves who hunted a drow too zealously. "Tara-chan, don't let your heart run away with your soul. You will only live, or die, to regret it."

"We all know better. Puppy eyes just get us our way no matter what." Well that was a relief. She remembered when Kariel had knocked his head and gone unconscious, he'd been poking at his head and making the child scream. She wouldn't scream if he wanted to touch, she'd probably hiss though. Snuggling her body closer to him, she rested her head and one hand against him and sighed. It was nice to be able to lean on him. She stayed like that for a little while, silently playing with his hair, then grabbed a pillow and used his lap as a secondary one. She'd done this all the time when she was pregnant and it had usually made her feel better. She was banking on the same effect now. "Talk to me."

Zykariel ran one hand along the egg's surface and nodded. "I gotta keep it in a nest by my bed so it stays warm, right? Hay and stuff?" Which was easy enough to get since the stables were full of them. He was extremely excited about the egg and jerked his head to the house. "Let's go show my parents!" Then blinked, "Or do you need to do something with Yinn?" At least that's what Malik had mentioned.

Usha didn't knock, but let herself into the room.

The young drow who had showed up some time before were of course, still there. Which is why she was there to begin with. Of late Usha, though she still carried that soft persomality of hers, displayed more of a harder outer shell. A lack of interaction, as she was confined to the palace, and sunlight had her looking paler, and crueler, than she would prefer to be.

She placed a tray on a nearby table, leaving water, dried meats and fruits for the two drow to eat at their leisure.

She bowed, asked what was required of her. "Might there be anything else you requier?" Usha did not expect an answer, the drow had said next to nothing to anyone since arriving.

"Hm." Merely a noise of affirmation to her statement...stupid puppy eyes. But he let her adjust as she wanted on him, and merely rested a hand on her arm, rubbing it up and down in idle affectionate and comforting fashion. Though a blink down at her at her little request from him. "Talk to you? What do you wish me to speak of? Most things these days that I think on are subjects that you don't like to hear of." Quieting himself for a moment and thinking. Hm...topic she liked right now... "Do you really want Andalian style?"

He nodded. "I used blankets and slept with it. You just gotta keep it nice and warm. If it gets cold then it won't hatch and you won't get your pet. That wouldn't be good." Looking to his parents then looking to Zykariel again. "Daddy said he's got something for Yinn, you should have Keely take you in."

Kimmuriel turned his demonic gaze toward onto Usha, but it vanished at the sight of the food. The pale purple glow that once gaze forlornly upon a helpless Oracle dangled where demons once rested. "Thank you." He said in a tone which would cause many of his closest slaves to shudder in fear. Honesty sounded so horrid from the drow in their opinions. Usha probably would not understand, since she never really had an in depth conversation with Kimmuriel during his days as a champion of chaos.

"Princess Usha, do you know anything about clothes?" Odd question, given the lack of details it seemed like Kimmuriel was an invalid.

Somewhat shocked that the drow actually decided to speak, Usha hesitated a moment before answering. "Yyyyyyyes." She gave him a once over with an eye, making a few eyeballed measurements as she was want to do from tiem to time.

But then of course, the question struck home and she looked to the girl. "For her?"

Delta, a cape and hood drapped over her frame, approached the small group who had congregated.

"Orko, I don't know what use you served my mother." It sounded as if she might have expanded on that, but she did not, merely left that statement hanging.

Then a look to Cedric and Tarathiel. She knew who they were, although proper introductions were never made. She wasn't the type for that sort of...warm welcome.

Onyx looked down from the ceiling at Orko and Cedric debating over Tarathiel. ears flicking back and forth. If anything, sealing the Oracle away had made Onyx a bit more cold. as if whatever joy or faith he'd had when the oracle was alive that was connected to her had been locked in that tomb as well.

"Emotions can also make one far more dangerous, and more powerful than those that refuse to acknowledge them. your wizardly powers maybe be vast, but the energy that can be fueled through one moment of pure rage could very well shatter your spells and trappings. and many swordsmen have found that the adrenal strength granted by someone who is pushed to thier breaking point can counter a lifetime of skill."

Dropping down by Tarathiel, and glancing at both the elf and the human.

"but before all three of us get into some lengthy debate or one of us attempts to hit the other, has anyone seen Aella?"

He barely acknowledged Delta's presence, though his tail flicked agitatedly. she had to be related to Omega, adn she had to know what that woman had done to him that long ago. it still bothered him some.

Malik nodded lightly at the boys, still giving piper a 'look into that for buisness' glance. after all if they sold horse they could sell these guys as housepets. then he picked yinn up, and held him in teh crook of one arm while getting his boots off.

"these do protect you form the occasional scratch but they hinder his natural movements. his paws are like little hands, he needs to be able to adjust his grips and such easily. so I had some gloves made."

Getting the boots off and digging in his pocket, coming up with four little brown gloves.

"Here, hold him while I get these on him. it'll make it much easier for him to climb and jump to places, I promise."

"I do not think I can ever stay out of my armour in public. I would rather her not feel so inclined." Kimmuriel said in a kind voice. "Her ebony skin is as dark as mine, I am not sure what kind of clothes she would look adorable, cute, or beautiful in."

Orko lifted a finger to Onyx, "What makes you think I don't use emotions?" He chuckled.

"I always knew the secret to your massive destructions spells was 'love'."

"Love is the strongest power in the universe after all." Orko replied.

"You really make me sick." Cedric replied. Cedric agree, though somewhat less exorbitantly, with Onyx on the subject.

Then, Delta spoke. Orko turned his attention to her and shrugged. "I made things go away with black magic, and when spell craft went away, I built defencive siege weapons for Honoursfield. Honestly, I'm here because I am scared of what the Captain would do to me if he found out I left. Even that ratty little Jinny is around somewhere. What ever he is doing, like the others, is benefiting this house. So... I'm pretty much just a busy body doing whatever until the Captain says otherwise."

Tarathiel looked up at Delta, he did not really know her or anything about her. "Hiya," He said gently, Cedric who had been in more conversations than the others with Delta just waved. "One-chan." That brought a little bit of a surprised look from Orko and Cedric. "Hug?" The prince asked softly and opened his arms, "It looks like you want one." So did the prince, two birds with one stone.

Piper merely crossed her arms again and stifled a chuckle. He was such a business man, really. If he could squeeze steal from it, then you would certinally see him trying to. But wasn't that cute? He had had gloves made for the little draithix. That would just make the child's day wouldn't it. "Clever."

Excited he was indeed about that little tidbit of information, though he also found it amusing as Yinn wriggled a bit at being picked up by Malik. A look at his own hands though...in his opinion, no they weren't. Yinn only had three toes...fingers...whatever they were. But he didn't argue the point and only took hold of the creature as best he could as he let his father slip on the creatures new little gloves, setting him down and watching him prance happily around. A look to Malik with a smile. "He liken 'em!"

Delta looked down her nose at Orko. "No, that served Honoursfeild. You were useless otherewise."

She didn't bother looking at Onyx, since he refused to ackknowledge her presence. "The half-elf is in her chambers, recently come home from an errand."

And then a softer look down to Tarathiel, who adressed her strangely. She was not even so familiar with her own siblings, yet the child seemed willing to accept her at least as a temporary friend.

She knelt down to his level and hugged him as he asked. Want one? Maybe...afterall, so many people had loved her mother, she was stepping into some rather large shoes in a place where she was known to be the daughter of a mad man.

Usha relaxed a little, tapped a finger to her chin. "You will be traveling alot, yes? Skirts wouldn't do then. Loose pants maybe, a sturdy belt. Tunic...or perhaps a wrap..."

"There won't be anything here in the palace though. I would have to tailor some clothes for her."

Orko raised his hands in defeat, "All the Oracle ever wished of me was that I did no destroy her home, her nation, or her furniture. I obeyed. Leaving me otherwise to my own devices. It was quite boring, actually. I could have solved most of her troubles with a few simple spells, but she was not into that kind of assistance." His eastern accent had not worn down in his days of chatting with the elves. "Do you have something better for me to do than watch the neighbours play?"

Tarathiel hugged Delta. "One-chan." He didn't seem to want to let go.

"I guess Tara-kun always wanted a sister." Cedric shrugged. "No wonder he kept butting his nose into my love-life." He smiled softly, bowed, and returned to the manor. He had some work to do, or he could do rather. Cedric seemed to have adopted being along recently. Perhaps his way of grieving, or merely over burdened with many troubles. His life was not normal, to say the least.

Elric and Cel both acknowledge Delta's current predicament with Tara, and returned to the manor leaving the child be. They did not see any reason to distrust Delta. Fooled, or not, they saw no harm in allowing Tara-kun to be himself.

No one was ignoring Onyx, they all knew what was the centre of his priorities so they left him to indulge himself.

Kimmuriel smirked, "Do not worry about practicality. I just want my precious daughter to look like a pretty princess." He placed his hand over her stomach and felt her rhythmic breathing. "I never realized how muscular I was under all that armour." He rubbed his wrist, "What do you think? Blue or Red? Purple, green, yellow? Clothes I mean, for her."
