Look at his entrance first of all. He rises from the ground with graveyard based imagery, complete with a ******** tombstone. What does this tell you?

Look at each of his posts, he is mumbling/whispering in each one. What is he doing? Is he casting a spell? Is he buffing himself? Is he creating some wierd kind of verbal porn?

My advice: stop trying to get everyone to give you every detail of everything. You know what that causes? Subconscious alterations of your methods and abilities applied for the simple reason that you will cleo, though completely unintentionally. Everyone does it, and you can't stop it because once you have the information, you can't not know it, and unless you concentrate on every post to the point of insanity, it'll just kinda happen.

And you do realize you had this exact same problem with the characters of Ikibe and Cole, right? You asked how everything worked and you were told no and you complained.

But it's an impotant detail. XD

If he casted a dang spell or something and was pointed to the mumbling/whispering, it would atleast give a good basis as to the argument he presented. My guys are mainly melee-based, so they would need to get past a forcefield somehow, specs help provide a basis for what the forcefield act as a defense.

When my guy 'ran' into the shield, if Ikibe woulda said exactly how much power the voltage was packing, then I would say that my guys was sent across the arena if the amount was appropriate. Keep in mind, damage to his forcefield wasn't acknowledged by him. This damage possibly draining his forcefield of a lot of its power, yet it is not said. Giving me the right to say that it doesn't work.

Next comes the barefoot versus staff. Him saying that he is unharmed without saying way, can be seen as the godmodding method of 'just shrugging it off.'

When a person punches a brick wall, that person suffers damage to his hand in accordance to force applied to the wall, durability of the brick wall, etc. Whether the person likes/wants-to-admit it or not.

For Gel's case, stating IC that I wasn't in appropriate range would have been enough for me. Wouldn't have found out about an immunity or anything.

To be honest, no. XD I'm saying, in this case, the detail Gelmax should give is vital. For all we know, Gelmax has an illeginiment reason for the ability to not be effective, that he just -assumes- is correct & appliable. We can't know. He wants to be secritive. All he has to do, is specify even the slightest of reasons why it wouldn't work in the faintest - he doesn't have to give away any "Earth breaking" info about his character, but an explanation is lovely none the less.

Unfortunately.. that I know of, he gave no reason for his sudden disappearence. I'm sure he'll be back, but if he isn't after a good while more.. perhaps someone he's entrusted mild 'powers' here should take charge, until he returns? Otherwise, this event really could fall apart without a guiding force in place. And that'd be rather sad. :Toad:

Before I posted, the shieldvsfoot was covered in PMs that his sheild would not activate for his attack. He didn't say that his race was physical statisticed enough to not be harmed by the foot hitting the staff. There was no acknowledgment of the shield being weakened. Giving a percentage would atleast show something is happening with it. My guy would have to hit his shield a bunch of times to knock it out whether I know the percentage or not.
