Every decision that a person makes in life will result in suffering. The best you can do is minimize the suffering caused.
I did what I could to stop the hardships of a friend, at the expense of causing another man probably ten minutes of regret. I think of it as a fair trade. If I had it my way, he'd regret it for years, but I know he won't. He'll shrug his shoulders and go find one of the girls he has on the side.
I know you've been hurt. So have I. So has everyone here, probably, by friends, by family, by other loved ones. You're not as alone in your pain and suffering as you like to think you are.
But, my life experiences and motivations have taught me that friends, family, and self come before all else. My window and options were little, and I struck the most efficient way I knew how.
So I will pose this question to you Shay, and then let the whole thing drop. Your friend is in a relationship that can only end badly for her. Would you try to end the relationship, and prevent her further pain at the expense of her 'boyfriends' comfort, or let it continue and prolong her suffering?

@Shadow: My opinion of men comes from my father. I’m truly sorry that I offended you. Every guy I have ever been friends with up until the end of June, be it via Gaia, or irl, has hurt me, and that’s a fact. My opinion of men stems from my own experiences, and I sincerely apologize if it offended you. I’m completely biased, because up until very recently, Shay has been hurt repeatedly.
I do understand what you’re saying, though. And I’m sorry.
@Auggie: ‘Tis because Lance is too much of a sexy beast to be bothered by replying to peoples.
@... Whoever Cares: Shay needs a hug, for she has begun to cry for the trillionth time in two days.

Nah don't worry about it i didn't take it personally i'm in the same boat as you...err just with females so far everyone except my current girl friend has hurt me or cheated on me. So i don't hold anything against you i only ask to not judge us to hard some men are like me overly sized puppies with no hatred for anyone.

To be 100% honest with you, I would let her handle it on her own, and then be there for her offering quiet comfort when it ended. And that’s a fact. I’ve had to do it before with my best friend. I told her he was cheating on her, I even gave her proof. But she wouldn’t listen, and he took her virginity. F*ck and chuck, so to speak. Instead of “I told you so”-ing like I should have, I sat and listened and let her ruin my favorite shirt with tearstains for three days while she lay on my bed sobbing her heart out. Thank you for the hug, btw ^^ @Kaze: I stopped because I'm immature and the tits thing amused me. @Shadow: Everything my friends have told me was the exact opposite lol. They were all going "guys suck, you can't trust them, blah blah blah"
