Time is, in general, a large, big...

Timey-wimey ball of continuity. For lack of a more laymanesque term.
Things touch each other. Histories change. Worlds live, worlds die, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
But not here. Time proceeds only in one direction, and it proceeds at the same rate for ANYONE who is here, despite the universe and time they hail from. I do not leave here and come back to a point in a past that I've already experienced.
Whether you're a cowboy from the 19th century, an android from the forty-first, whether you've traveled all over time in your life or not, time HERE is a ribbon that travels straight forward.
At least, so far. I am interested to see if the power of the heart of the Nexus can be coaxed to do MORE then that.

Nice with the whole Doctor explanation and all, I'll give a golf clap to that, but seriously man, do you REALLY need to be messing with that? I mean, yeah you're a 12th level intelligence and a genius and all ... but come on man! If the Nexus ends because you had to figure something out that no one wanted to know, I'm gonna beat on your ancestor extra hard each time I see him...

You are working under a flawed assumption that no one else has already been 'messing with it.'
Did you not notice, nearly a year ago, how WRONG all of those rings that suddenly started appearing were?

So what exactly are we trying to accomplish, moving foward or backward in time while inside the nexus? Or are we trying to figure why time is unaffected while inside the nexus? I do have some knowledge in this area Brainy, it might be somewhat limited compared to yours but i have delt with temporal equipment.

I'd welcome the discourse.
Ideally, I would like to attempt both forwards and backwards travel in-Nexus. But I have a feeling that...

I think it is an relevant idea to pursue at this point in time.

You've barely been here long enough for a cup of coffee, I fail to see what credentials you've presented that require me to engage in extended discourse with you over my research plans.
