Owwin Ennokni No, you want to be a man-slut. I will remain self-righteous and there's nothing you can do about it! But yeah, people can mate for life, it happens to other species. We just want to have kids and keep the species alive, it's our evolutionary directive. Dang, if I ever cheat on someone, I can blame it on Darwin. (Personally I hope I never cheat on anyone.) I don't want to be a man slut, but I do want to raise a child. I am just gonna adopt a kid. My genes don't matter to me, my ideals are what is important. I will keep somebody else's kid alive. That's interesting. Slightly conceited, but interesting. I always support gay marriage on the basis they could clean out orphanages. Also, all mean are created equal, but that's secondary. Do orphanages even exist anymore? Or just in musicals?

If everybody on earth was gay we would still pair people to continue the species. I mean seriously, we get freaked out if pandas get close to extinction, think about what would happen if the population fell under a comfortable level. That last man on earth argument is used a lot in sitcoms, but people are too afraid of the death of the species.

I see what you mean, but I'd think it'd be uncomfortable to forcibly mate a gay man and a lesbian. We'd probably use a sperm bank as a middle man. Ennokni I see what you mean, but I'd think it'd be uncomfortable to forcibly mate a gay man and a lesbian. We'd probably use a sperm bank as a middle man. Also I don't care if they are uncomfortable! They will do it for the good of the species, and for my personal enjoyment, in fact I hope they are uncomfortable, It pleases me.

Christianity has an issue with homosexuality because a few verses in the Bible say that homosexuality is an abomination and that homosexuals can't go to heaven. The fact that the word 'homosexuality' didn't exist until the 1800's is apparently ignored, along with context on several of the verses. A few other religions are against homosexuality as well, but I'm less informed on them. Beyond that... to be honest, I rarely see someone argue it from non-religious reasoning. Best I've heard is "it's morally wrong" or "it's weird", but those are both way too subjective to apply as any legitimate reason to ban something. We're pretty overpopulated as it is. Obviously just killing off half of the population isn't good, but we should really be working to reduce the population in other ways.
