"This is the first time i have been out of the city" She said to the female that is folloiwng them, which resulted in to Katie holding on to Lan's shirt tighter in her small hands. Causing the knuckles going white almost going to ripp the jacket that she held. her heart pounding in her chest wildly. "I am sorry, for causing you to dump her. Should I leave?" She asked ready to walk around the woods on the way back to the city, that hated her.

Her sobbing had stopped; No more tears fell. Her tails lay motionless on the floor. The tremors were gone. She barely registered Sheldon hug her, or his speak. Her ears drooped onto her hair. The ruby had formed a heart, but all that was left was shattered pieces; shards in the form of a heart. Her bleeding continued, running down her face and dripping onto her knees. The places in her hair where the pink strands had been, were grey.

"No Katie it's not your fault." Lowering his eyes as he glanced at the dirt flooring the young man slowly began to wrap his wings tightly around himself. "you never did anything wrong so you don't have to blame yourself."

"I will be here, Lan" She said as she walked over to a place that was more hidden away, Jennie the white wolf she adopted and named. One hound did follow her and sat next to her so she could lean or use as a pillow if she wanted to sleep.

Watching her walk around the cave to a hidden area Lan glanced down at the flooring once again as he slowly lowered himself to the floor. Lowering his head to the dirt flooring the young man eyed out to the night filled sky from within the cave as he let loose another tear before resting.

Katie watched over where lan is at, not moving from her spot. The blond hair went infront of her face, as she snuggledup to the warmth of the hound. HOlding the one with the arm, the other held her Jennie cuddling the white furr. Whispering to it, and letting jennie go over to lan to lick his face wanting him to cheer up. Jennie walked over and layed by his lap, her head snuggled in his wings as she tryed to crwal in.

Feeling the pup lick his face the young man opened one eye staring at Jenny as he unwrapped his wings enough for the pup to crawl in. closing his wings once more around the white wolf pup he pulled her hover to his chest as he eyed at Katie with a smile.

Laying down on the jacket as her head went on the hounds waist. Holding him with one hand, as th other went and pulled the jacket the rest of the way around her body. She closed her eyes, trying not to feel like she did somthing wrong, and giving lan his time alone.

Watching her as she fell asleep Lan rose to his feet with the pup in his hands as he made his way to Katie. lowering himself on one knee he gently lifted up her arm placing Jennie close to the little girl. Lowering her arms back around the pup the young man lowered himself bringing his arm around the young girl as he pulled her up close to him.

Feeling someone go around her body she jumped and wiggled out of the embrace. Finally seeing who it was she went back and layed down. Letting his arm and wing go back around her she snuggled in there falling asleep. Turing her face just for a second she kissed his forehead and wiped his blood tears from his face. Katie layed down, her back to his chest as she snuggled one hound and one wolf to her body.

Bringing his around around her waist he snuggled up to her keeping the little girl warm. Opening one eye as he felt her kiss his forehead and cuddled into him more he raised his head only to return the kiss to her cheek as he lowered his head back down on his arm using it as a pillow.

Elfir and Winston had been sitting awake on the roof the whole time, blissfully unaware of the little drama below. Earlier, when Sakura had entered the tavern, Elfir scrambled out of sight on the other side of the roof only to realize that she hadn't been looking for him. Phew. Then a dragon flew by and changed into the Co-owner, Sheldon; thus startling him once more, but he managed to contain himself. Winston didin't seem much fazed by either appearance. Later, Lan and Katie left as well. After a few hours up on the roof Elfir muttered, "'Ey, didn't Bubby say he was gonna look for Sakura? Well, Sakura's here, but where's Bubby?" He shifted his sore leg slightly and then slid to the edge of the roof, ready to depart and search for his comrade. He sighed and then said, "Ah, Winston... what's gonna happen when I jump off the roof? You know it, I know it, everyone knows it; I'm gonna fall off and hit the ground like a brick. Might as well get some popcorn then." He took a big jump and successfully landed on his good leg, balancing himself out. "Hah! Yeah! I did it!" he crowed. "Hey, I'm gonna see where that Bubby's gone off to. You comin'?" he asked Winston as he fetched his carved stave from where it had been sitting next to a tree and began to hobble off into the forest.

Winston stands up and jumps down like it was nothin "you didnt let me get the popcorn" he said jokeing "sure got nothin better to do"as he starts following elfir into the woods

bubby still looking for sakura in the forest for a wile decided it was like finding a needle in a hay stack. he climbed a tall tree to try to find out were the tavern was and he bearly mangaed to see the roof of the tavern and thought he saw two people on the roof. he climbed down the tree and headed for the tavern hopeing that sakura was there.
