Anyway, in case anyone ever wondered just how extensively the nerd/gamer/otaku community overlapped with the military, the folowing sentence was taken word for word from a motivational paragraph appearing in today's action notice (daily news and announcements):
"The global war on terror will not be won by an Orc, Elf, Mage, Rebel pilot, Stormtrooper, Star Fleet Officer, Vampire, or any other fictional character."
Someone had already crossed out and corrected "Star Fleet" to "Starfleet," so all that I did was change or to nor. No need to be grammatically incorrect about it. whee Even if we are a bunch of geeks.

That's a good question. I think he'd count as a mage, though, if not exactly an elf. And I think having a sword of truth may count him as a fictional character...
