"A setback..."
The words were hardly even spoken, he practically mouthed them. is that all his death would mean? A setback? He'd no intent to lay down and die, but it botherred him a little to know that that's all it would mean....A setback?
The glass shatterred under his gaze, a small ice storm of crystaline shards.
He closed his eyes, teeth clenched, fangs digging into the flesh of his lower lip. Letting out a a small sigh as the blood from the wounds began to run.

Her ears twitched at the loud sound of the cracking then shattering of glass. Sighing faintly, she stood up straighter then grabbed a towel and moved towards him. "You never know, Leer... maybe he'll surprise us," she told him, one hand reaching out to gently pat his back if he let her. Her nose crinkled slightly at the smell of his blood running from his wounds as she used the towel to push the glass off the counter and into a trashcan. Without saying anything more, she tried to gently pry his hand open in order to clean his wound and get the mess cleaned up, if he let her.

The wounds healed instantly. Fleshcraft was a marvelous thing for patching things up even if they were small wounds, it saved time. Pulling a small sum of money from his pocket, he laid it on the counter as payment for the broken glass.
"No...you're right...Besides...I suppose I'd prefer it that way...if it upset him, the world would probally cease to exist.....it'd be better if everyone just moved on...i've already wasted too much time grieving...."

Getting the blood and liquid off his hand and the table, she tossed the towel into a pile where someone would have to wash it later. Ignoring the money, she shook her head at him before taking a seat beside him. "Everyone moves on with time, it doesn't mean that they do not grieve first," she told him, sighing before stroking his back in what she hoped to be a comforting manner.
It was clear that she had started to change a bit, most likely due to Iden, she seemed to be more caring about others and not just herself. "Besides, you cant have waisted too much time, seeing I know I've grieved for the dead longer then you have," she told him, smiling weakly before shaking her head to clear the thoughts of her dead family. There was still a heavy bit of guilt there.. but she was trying to over come it and move on.

He didn't say anything. too much was on his mind right now. The few true emotions he'd not pushed away clouding his insight further...Just another reason to get rid of them...
"My grieving was not always simply for the dead...my whole human life was consumed by it...Maybe that's why I never got anywhere...Guess I need to give that up too."
He wasn't even speaking to her anymore. Merely thinking outloud. Any human wouldn't even have noticed. His lips hardly moved at all, and the words were bellow whispers. Bella would hear, but just barely.

Sensing he was speaking outloud and probably didn't mean for her to hear him, she remained quiet herself. Sighing quietly despite herself, she moved closer to him on her stool before wrapping her arms around him more. "Don't be too much like your sire," she whispered to him, a shudder going down her back at the thought of him being any more like him. There was somethings, she had thought Ice was above doing... but he had proved her wrong in his words and thought that hopefully Leer wouldn't sink that low. Resting her head on his shoulder, she just held him in her arms, like a friend would do to another when they needed it.

He backed away slightly. not because he wanted her to leave hi alone really, but moreso because he didn't want to pull her into the mess he was in right now. His eyes would show that much.

Huffing in aggatation, she had started to say something until she saw the look in his eyes. Shaking her head at him, Bella grew quiet for the moment as if she was thinking how to say something without making matters worse. "If you're worried about me, don't be. I may already be in this mess with Ice as it is, you should be able to tell and smell it. I have drank from him before and he was going to be teaching me things at one point... not to mention, I had been his lover. I could very well be a target due to that, so don't pull away. I've seen enough people pull away when they need it," she told him, trying not to scold him, but knowing it may sound that way. Smiling weakly at him, she opened her arms to him once again, waiting for him to come to her this time. "Besides... I'm too tough to roll over and let some idiots try to take me down," she told him, grinning as she tried to make a joke out of it.

instead of moving towards her though, he actually stood up, turning his back to her an dmoving to the center of the room.
"Ice is stronger then I am...if you die because of him, he'll live, he'll shrug ti off and be able to move on in a minute....If I know you died because of me, it could cause problems...."
Would he snap if it apenned? No...owuld he be angerred by it? Most likely...and right now the last thing he wanted was another person who could be killed simply by knowing him. It was already enough trouble watching out to make sure they didn't get a hold of Gally or himself. Pulling his aviators from his pocket, he slipped them on over his eyes, preparring to leave.

Shaking her head at his movements, she stood up and followed almost silently behind him. Resting her hands on her hips, she looked up at him while huffing quietly. "If I died, it'd be because of Ice, not because of you," she told him softly, trying not to show that he was making her a bit angry at his words. "I'm more tied to Ice then I am to you and I don't see why they'd go to me to get to you first. It seems they'd want Ice, not you. And as you said, Ice'll live and shrug it off. I mean nothing to him," she told him before noticing his glasses and sighing, knowing he wanted to leave. Bella wouldn't stop him, but she rather him not leave on such terms.

he stopped as Ice apeared the shades quickly fell back into his hands and were pocketted as he looked back to him.
"Faith is not my issue. I know you can handle things, but I know I can't....and, out of curiosity, how can I despise some one whom I'm becoming more and more like? Because I certainly don't hate myself..."
He shrugged as he moved to get Ice his drink without even thinking aobut it. It'd become a habbit basically. Ice showed up, Bailey's was to be waiting for him.

So just because YOUR only concern for me had I died the other day was merely the fact I hadnt finished teaching you, you think Id be just as unbothered by YOUR death should it occur?

Her emerald eyes moved to look at Ice as he dropped down, a slight nod to him in greeting before turning back to Leer. Not getting him the drink he gustered for, she waited to see if Leer would do such or not. She didn't see a point in serving him, when he was closer to it as it was. "Maybe you don't know you hate yourself yet," she suggested to him, leaving her tiny fists on her hips. It brought up interesting thoughts and questions in her mind, wondering if she was anything like Ashen was or if she had been spared that for not being around him as she should of been...

pouring Ice a glass of his preferred drink, he handed it to him before speaking.
"First, my only concern was not simply teaching. Yes, you're not done teaching me, but I feel that you'e the only one who CAN teach me what I need to know. I don't know exactly why I was worried about it, maybe I sohuldn't have been. Teaching had something to do with it, but there's more to it. So far you've not truely lied to me...first person I've ever met to have known me this long, and not lied to me and forced me into doing something...Harsh, yes, but it's been effective. And you and I both know that even you seem to push me in certain directions at time that I've been making the choices for myself. It goes deeper then teaching..."
Leer sighed though still. He wasn't lieing here, but would Ice believe him?
"What does it matter to you then should I die? You'd have merely wasted time on me...so far I've yet to see why I'm so important. If you'd be botherred by me dieing, then I'd like to know why. Why do i matter so much to concern you?"
